Blue Horseshoe Stocks: IFAN, NEWC Updates & More

IFAN Financial, Inc. IFAN

We had multiple runners come out of yesterday morning’s premarket report, but the star of the show was was without a doubt IFAN. This was a case of looking in the right place at the right time. The stock had posted a marginal increase the session prior, but yesterday’s run was a cut above.

We witnessed as it traded in a fantastic range from .0031, cracking through the penny barrier and reaching a high of .0118. That worked out to an intraday rip of 281% which occurred on nearly thrice the monthly average trading volume.

In instances such as these, we always keep the stock on our radar in the event that the excellent momentum it’s built up washes over into another session.

New Columbia Resources, Inc. NEWC

Prior to yesterday morning’s mention, we had signaled NEWC for observation most recently a week ago today, and the ramp-up we’ve seen between then and yesterday’s solid session has been pretty impressive.

After witnessing a low of .01 subsequent to last week’s report, the stock has really taken off this week, yesterday trading up from .0231 to a new high of .0449 (+94%), which from a penny, marks an upswing of 349% in just a few sessions.

Agritek Holdings, Inc. AGTK

Speaking of new highs, we’ve been tracking AGTK heavily of late, and it too set a new high mark for us in yesterday’s session, despite already being up so high. As we were mentioning yesterday morning, we caught this play on September 14th, at a low of .003, and the stock never looked back.

Yesterday’s decent move carried it from .0285-.036, a 26% intraday push, which is incredibly modest compared to the overall run we’ve been watching. Yesterday’s new peak registered as an increase of 1100% on the dot over our observed low.

Plandai Biotechnology, Inc. PLPL

We brought back a familiar play in PLPL last Thursday, and reminded readers to continue paying attention in yesterday’s premarket report. The stock has responded with with a nice performance in that span.

Yesterday’s session brought a healthy 56% move up from .04 to a new high of .0624, which from the three-cent low we witnessed at the end of last week, marks a swing of 108%

The Procter and Gamble Co. PG – Fresh Options Idea

As a result of the confluence of both an attractive technical setup on the chart where it recently came down to 4-month lows, in addition to a well-received quarterly earnings report this morning, we want to tag some PG options for potential daytrades and or intraweek swing trades. We had multiple landmark plays that fit the same description last week, and came away with chances for multibag gains in almost every instance.

To attempt to do the same thing this week, we’re going to look to the PG Weekly $85.50-88 Calls, which should see some nice activity if the action unfolds the way it appears it might. We’ll be looking for a gap-and-go setup to facilitate that.

Cannabis Watchlist:

The “Green Rush” continues… Aside from the three above-mentioned cannabis plays we want to continue to keep the top traded pot stocks on watch for further gains. The momentum in the sector as a whole, as we’ve cautioned readers, has continued in a big way.

TRTC, HEMP, OWCP, PHOT, MCOA, ERBB are among some of the headliners in that regard, but by no means the only marijuana related stocks that are set to explode leading up to and following election day, whereupon recreational consumption will most likely become legal in the state of California.

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: Options Plays & Other Updates

Alcoa, Inc. AA – Options Idea

The range of options contracts that we signaled for observation on Tuesday for Alcoa went on to extend their gains, just as we mentioned they might in yesterday’s report. We were zeroed in on the AA Weekly $32-30 Puts, and as AA continued its backslide right on cue, the trading ranges were indeed bolstered by a good margin.

Here are the updated figures of the possible gains:

$32 Puts – Range: 2.64-4.95 – Max Gain: 88%
$31.50 Puts – Range: 1.93-4.47 – Max Gain: 132%
$31 Puts – Range: 1.57-3.98 – Max Gain: 153%
$30.50 Puts – Range: 1.16-3.44 – Max Gain: 197%
$30 Puts – Range: .65-3.02 – Max Gain: 365%

Other Updates

BioStar Pharmaceuticals, Inc. BSPM – After catching this stock’s fantastic 96% intraday run from 3.60 to 7.06 on Tuesday, the stock saw a big dip yesterday, along with a subsequent rip that could have provided an early morning in-and-out opportunity.

After coming down to 4.27 it traveled back as high as 5.23, an intraday move of 22%
_____

Agritek Holdings, Inc. AGTK – We tagged AGTK for observation in Friday’s report, at which time the stock was seen trading as low .0092. After a few sessions of nominal trading, yesterday the stock really kicked things into high gear.

We saw a 152% daily run from .011 to a new high of .0277, and from the low we witnessed less than a week ago, a total increase of 201%

AGTK falls under the category of cannabis related stocks, which we’ve been tracking more heavily of late and intend to continue doing through the upcoming elections.
_____

OWC Pharmaceutical Research Corp. OWCP – We followed OWCP on its epic run beginning two Thursday’s ago and continuing through all of last week, which carried it from .0045-.073 (+1522%).

We strongly suggested that a dip-and-rip would be in the cards when the stock finally began to pull back off of its highs, and this week our assumption was proved accurate. From Tuesday’s swing low of .0322, yesterday the stock surged back to actually set a new high of .074. That means the dip-and-rip we were waiting for allotted us potential gains of up to 130%

Delta Air Lines, Inc. DAL – Fresh Options Idea

We’ve had extreme good fortune with bearish options ideas this week, and this morning we’re seeing another chance to take advantage of a backslide. Like the situation we saw with Alcoa, Delta’s chart is looking toppy at the moment, and when combined with the reaction to this morning’s earnings call we think we may see some nice activity out of DAL Weekly $39.50-38 Puts. The company beat on Q3 profits, but fell short on revenue, and is dipping in the premarket as a result.

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: Cannabis Stocks Blazing & More

United Cannabis Corp. CNAB

CNAB was one of a pair of cannabis plays that we mentioned we’d be tracking toward the end of last week that ended up kicking this week’s trading off with great sessions. When we brought CNAB up in our premarket report on Thursday,

We followed up on Friday after the stock had made a 43% run from .28-.40, and asserted that we’d be on the lookout for CNAB as well as other plays in the pot sector to see increased activity in the weeks ahead. November is fast approaching, with several key cannabis initiatives coming up for a vote, including a recreational bill in California.

CNAB got off to a great start to the week today, by running from a low of .39 to a new high of .63. That worked out to an intraday move of 62%, and a total gain of  125% over our observed low from last week.

Our overall interest in the space has been ongoing from the fall of 2014, just prior to the first “Green Rush”, a historic period which saw countless stocks in the sector make exponential gains. With activity for many of these stocks picking up once again, we’ll be certain to watch plays like GRNH, ERBB, PHOT, TRTC, PZOO, and BLOZF more closely.

OWC Pharmaceutical Research Corp. OWCP

The other cannabis related stock that we’ve been hot on the trail of since Thursday is OWCP, and the stock has been pushing the envelope ever since.

Yesterday we were just mentioning the excellent gains it had already made from .0045 to .0111, and that we were anxious to see it continue its momentum, and it followed up with another great performance. From its daily low of .0109 OWCP went on to hit a new high of .0193, representing a daily rip of 77%, and a three-session overall increase of 329% over Thursday’s .0045 low.

Congratulations to any of our readers who caught a piece of the excellent action on OWCP. With the progress it’s already made, we’ll definitely be reserving a continued slot on our radar screens for this stock in sessions ahead.

Nova Lifestyle, Inc. NVFY

We also want to take a minute to point out a good catch we had in NVFY yesterday, which traded monster volume to the tune of roughly 20X the monthly average, and recorded a solid intraday push.

The stock traded in a range from 3.81-5.15, for a gain of 35% and held a good deal of that advance into the close at 5.08. We’ll continue to track this play and look for it to record another session of higher highs and higher lows, as it has done for the past six days straight.

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: APRE Recap, Other Updates & More

Aperture Health, Inc. APRE

When we took a glance at the APRE chart in the premarket yesterday morning, we felt confident that there was a possibility of a continued uptrend carried over from Friday’s big move. Our feelings weren’t misplaced, as the stock recorded another nice intraday run beginning right at the opening bell.

From its starting price of .027 APRE broke out to a high of .0428, which registered as a 59% upswing. We then saw a consolidation into the close, exhibiting the type of volatility we’d mentioned in our report, but notably held support above the .03-mark.

We’re going to look for APRE to continue to build higher base levels of support moving forward. We can imagine a play with such technical characteristics providing us further opportunities in sessions ahead, so we’ll want to keep it on close watch.

If you didn’t catch our full report on APRE yesterday, you can find it here >>View Report

Updates on Recent Ideas

We get so caught up with our seemingly innumerable interests at times, that we sometimes find ourselves having to backtrack a bit to provide updates on past ideas. Such is the case with the following stocks:

PCS Edventures!.com, Inc. PCSV, which we tabbed for longer-term watch two months ago to the day, ended up making a beautiful upswing of multi-bag proportions. Subsequent to our alert, we witnessed it trading in a range from .025-.14, a 460% move to the upside.

Skyline Medical, Inc. SKLN is a play that we zeroed in on late last month, and it too yielded a sizable move recently. The stock ran from .17-.29 for a comparatively modest but still very solid 71% spike.

Eyes on the Cannabis Sector

Our regular readers are certainly familiar with our repeated tracking of marijuana-related stocks, a pool from which we’ve pulled a great many big-time gainers in the past. We began drawing attention back to the sector in our reports early this spring, and it has really paid off.

GreenGro Technologies, Inc. GRNH – We’ve come back to this one time and time again over a period of years, but began tracking it more heavily beginning in late February. Since then, the general trend has been in a northerly direction, and over the past month or so, things have really begun to kick in high gear. In that span, we’ve seen GRNH run from a low of .0171 to an amazing ten-cent high yesterday. That’s a 485% swing! The stock has gapped up even further today, as high as .12 so far in the premarket, so it’s definitely occupying a portion of our attention this morning.

Terra Tech Corp. TRTC – We began re-alerting TRTC around the same period in late March at which time we observed a low of .2162 , and our most recent reminder came on April 5th. For this play as well, it has been mostly big moves to the upside since then. Yesterday the stock reached .7455, marking a 245% swing over our observed low.

Other big pot-plays that we dialed up near the end of March included Marijuana Company of America, Inc. MCOA and CannLabs, Inc. CANL. We’ve seen multi-bag moves from them as well, culminating in impressive new highs yesterday. MCOA ran from our observed low of .005 to a new high of .012, a gain of 140% while CANL made a move from .167-.449 for a solid 169% rip.

It’s become increasingly apparent over recent weeks that the cannabis industry heat-up we had anticipated is in full-swing. We’re going to need to stay aware and continue to monitor the entire sector, including stocks such as CANN, and CBDS as spring progresses.

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: Fresh Options Ideas, VAPE Recap & More

Fresh Options Ideas

The markets made a notable upturn following yesterday’s Fed meeting from which we learned that it will be proceeding with caution regarding a potential interest rate hike. The floundering world economy as well as trouble with low inflation domestically were cited as reasons behind the reticence. Despite the note of uncertainty, there is nothing ambiguous about the overall market sentiment at present, which is leading us to formulate some bullish ideas on the options-trading front.

SPDR S&P 500 ETF (SPY)

We’ve enjoyed tons of success trading SPY options in the past when we need a close analog of the markets as a whole, so it stands to reason that we call out a new idea for some SPY Calls this morning. We’re going to be paying attention to the SPY Weekly $204-206 Calls.

Apple, Inc. AAPL

AAPL seemed to enjoy a boost in the wake of the US Government’s dismissal of the federal court case which had embroiled the two in recent weeks. After enjoying a steady increases throughout the session, the stock is currently gapping up in the premarket. Our target range here is going to be AAPL Weekly $107-109 Calls.

Ambarella, Inc. AMBA

We flagged AMBA in yesterday’s watchlist and it too produced a bullish session. In addition to being connected with AAPL being a provider of internal hardware for Apple devices, AMBA received an upgrade from analysts at Morgan Stanley. We’ve got a corresponding options idea for this one as well. For this play, we’re looking to the AMBA Weekly $44-46 Calls.

Lulu Lemon Athletica, Inc. LULU

LULU is gapping this morning on the heels of an earnings beat, so we’re going to want to signal some calls here as well. This is another stock whose options chain has provided us with ammunition for extreme gains in the past. We’ll be monitoring the LULU Weekly $62-65.50 Calls.

With everything gapping up in the premarket, we’ll of course be on the lookout for possible dip-and-rip scenarios prior to the execution of any of these ideas.

Vape Holdings, Inc. VAPE

We can officially add VAPE to the list of cannabis-related stocks that we’ve witnessed making appreciable upswings this week. We added it to yesterday’s morning report as another pot-play to keep an eye on, and we’re immediately rewarded with a solid opportunity for some single-session gains.

VAPE traded in a range from .0106 to .017 on the day, giving traders the chance at profits of up to 60% The move came in conjunction with the announcement of another round of debt restructuring and consolidation (>>View PR).

We’ve added new cannabis candidates to our radar each day this week, and we’ll repeat that again today, pinning CANL and MCOA to our watchlist.
