Blue Horseshoe Stocks: Options Plays & Other Updates

Alcoa, Inc. AA – Options Idea

The range of options contracts that we signaled for observation on Tuesday for Alcoa went on to extend their gains, just as we mentioned they might in yesterday’s report. We were zeroed in on the AA Weekly $32-30 Puts, and as AA continued its backslide right on cue, the trading ranges were indeed bolstered by a good margin.

Here are the updated figures of the possible gains:

$32 Puts – Range: 2.64-4.95 – Max Gain: 88%
$31.50 Puts – Range: 1.93-4.47 – Max Gain: 132%
$31 Puts – Range: 1.57-3.98 – Max Gain: 153%
$30.50 Puts – Range: 1.16-3.44 – Max Gain: 197%
$30 Puts – Range: .65-3.02 – Max Gain: 365%

Other Updates

BioStar Pharmaceuticals, Inc. BSPM – After catching this stock’s fantastic 96% intraday run from 3.60 to 7.06 on Tuesday, the stock saw a big dip yesterday, along with a subsequent rip that could have provided an early morning in-and-out opportunity.

After coming down to 4.27 it traveled back as high as 5.23, an intraday move of 22%
_____

Agritek Holdings, Inc. AGTK – We tagged AGTK for observation in Friday’s report, at which time the stock was seen trading as low .0092. After a few sessions of nominal trading, yesterday the stock really kicked things into high gear.

We saw a 152% daily run from .011 to a new high of .0277, and from the low we witnessed less than a week ago, a total increase of 201%

AGTK falls under the category of cannabis related stocks, which we’ve been tracking more heavily of late and intend to continue doing through the upcoming elections.
_____

OWC Pharmaceutical Research Corp. OWCP – We followed OWCP on its epic run beginning two Thursday’s ago and continuing through all of last week, which carried it from .0045-.073 (+1522%).

We strongly suggested that a dip-and-rip would be in the cards when the stock finally began to pull back off of its highs, and this week our assumption was proved accurate. From Tuesday’s swing low of .0322, yesterday the stock surged back to actually set a new high of .074. That means the dip-and-rip we were waiting for allotted us potential gains of up to 130%

Delta Air Lines, Inc. DAL – Fresh Options Idea

We’ve had extreme good fortune with bearish options ideas this week, and this morning we’re seeing another chance to take advantage of a backslide. Like the situation we saw with Alcoa, Delta’s chart is looking toppy at the moment, and when combined with the reaction to this morning’s earnings call we think we may see some nice activity out of DAL Weekly $39.50-38 Puts. The company beat on Q3 profits, but fell short on revenue, and is dipping in the premarket as a result.

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: GNID, SGBY Reviews & More

GeneSYS ID, Inc. GNID

GNID was far and away the best call from yesterday morning’s report. It wasted no time running out of the gate hard, and making a huge push from its morning low of .078 up to .205 before lunchtime.

That impressive move worked out to an intraday pop of 163% on greater-than-average volume, a highly respectable single-session run.

The stock maintained more than half of its daily advance into the close at .15, and registered higher highs and higher lows for the fourth straight day, so we’ll keep it on our radars moving forward in the event of a continuation of that pattern of momentum.

Signal Bay, Inc. SGBY

We tracked SGBY on a major run at the beginning of this month that took the stock from a low of .0103 up to .03, a 191% swing. It spent the following weeks under consolidation, ultimately finding support off of the .0068-mark last week.

Yesterday, SGBY had returned to a high of .02, marking yet another upswing, this time amounting to 194% We’re going to want to stay on SGBY’s trail as we cruise through midweek, as a return to the highs we witnessed at the beginning of the month from current PPS levels would spell gains approaching 100%

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: Bottom-Bounce Watchlist & More

Bottom-Bounce Watchlist

We’ve got a trio of potential bottom-plays hitting our scanner this morning, and as our regular readers are surely aware, we’re quite fond of bargain-basement prices. Our history is chock-full of solid recovery based gains.

Eldorado Gold Corp. EGO – This gold play showed up on our radar this morning after Friday saw the stock record a hint of a rise off of its lowest PPS since early April. As you can see on the included snapshot below, the chart is boasting an RSI that appears ready to come off of being oversold, with clear convergence on the MACD hinting at an impending bullish cross. We’ll place this one on watch for upcoming sessions as we kick off this short trading week.

______

ITT Educational Services, Inc. ESI
– This stock showed signs of life on Friday, coming up off of the new 52-week low it registered on Thursday. In addition to being egregiously oversold at this point, there is a monstrous gap on the chart from the low-.70’s on up to the 1.40 range. We’ll be looking for an eventual fill which would of course spell gains approaching 100%

______

Dynavax Technologies Corp. DVAX – In a moderate morning gap-up, DVAX has already begun to regain some of the ground it lost on Friday following the FDA’s decision to delay its decision on the company’s hepatitis vaccine. No surprise, as the 30% selloff seemed a bit of an overreaction.

We’ll look for the rebound in progress to continue, and will remain interested provided it maintains support above this morning’s premarket low of 12.27. Bonus Options Idea: If the recovery unfolds as we suspect it might, we’ll be anxious to tracj the activity in the DVAX 09/16 $12 and $13 Calls.

Auscrete Corp. ASCK

We also want to provide a brief update on ASCK, a subpenny play which we placed on watch in Wednesday’s premarket report. After coming down to find support at .0023 the stock ultimately reached a new high of .0065 on Friday.

It marked an intraweek swing of 183% and qualified for a continued spot on our working watchlist.
