More Options Success & New Ideas

More Options Gainers:

We only formulated two sets of options ideas for yesterday morning’s premarket report, but we scored pretty well with both of them. Kohls was a post-earnings play, and we had been bearish on the SPY from the get-go this week.

Our exact target ranges were the KSS Weekly $60-62 Calls and the SPY 01/24 $435-432 Puts, and traders could have realized some pretty good profits off of either idea. With the markets continuing their recent downslide until midday, the SPY Puts were the most attractive option on the day.

Here are the total possible gains one could have recorded with those items of interest:

KSS Weekly $60-62 Calls
$60:
3.46-4.90 (+42%)
$61: 2.81-4.23 (+51%)
$62: 1.00-3.73 (+273%)
_____

SPY 01/24 $435-432 Puts
$435: 3.96-14.28 (+261%)
$343: 3.23-13.33 (+313%)
$432: 2.50-11.31 (+252%)

LOGI 02/18 $75-80 Calls
BRO 02/18 $65-70 Calls
AXP Weekly $160-165 Calls

Options Roundup

We are back in the options trading saddle this morning, with the earnings calendar chock full once again. We endured a rather long dry spell in that regard, and it’s great to see the calendar filled up with quarterly reporters once again.

For some of our newer subscribers who may not yet be familiar with how we operate, we always try to utilize the inherent volatility that follows a company’s quarterly earnings drop to fuel short to intermediate term options plays. Our ideas are successful more often than not because of this dynamic.

Today, with the calendar full of symbols, here are the chains and strike ranges that we are most attracted to, and are going to want to monitor:

PG Weekly $143-144 Calls
LOGI 11/20 $95-100
DKNG 11/20 $46-48 Calls

Northwest Biotherapeutics, Inc. NWBO

We have been tracking NWBO for the better part of two months now. We initially signaled the stock on the morning of September 2nd, and that day it saw a low of .405.

Fast forward to yesterday, and the stock has achieved a high of 2.08 which represents an increase of 414% in roughly six weeks’ time!

Logitech International, Inc. LOGI

We’ve also taken notice of LOGI on the heels of its Q3 earnings report, wherein the company has reported record sales for the quarter, not to mention raising guidance for the full year. As a result it presently appears to be the most attractive stock on the earnings calendar.

We are going to signal a range of calls in the LOGI chain to observe in the days and weeks ahead–  the LOGI 02/15 $34-35 Calls.
