Blue Horseshoe Stocks: AVNR, SINO, FREE & More

Avanir Pharmaceuticals, Inc. AVNR

We included AVNR in our extended watchlist yesterday and we were glad that we did. The company released an announcement concerning the positive clinical trials of its drug “AVP-923” which is used to treat Alzheimer’s >>Read The Release and what followed was one heck of a bullish session.

The stock saw an early low of 9.32, and steadily pushed its way up all session long, with the high of 13.09 coming just prior to the close. That mark represented a solid 40% intraday gain, as well as a new 52-week high! The amount of volume traded was also impressive, on the order of more than 89M shares, an annual record and more than 25X the three-month average, so we really like the timing of our alert on AVNR.

AVNR provides another good example of why we always remind our subscribers to check through our daily extended watchlist selections thoroughly, as hidden gems like this one tend to pop up with surprising regularity.

Sino-Global Shipping America Ltd. SINO

SINO began to run when the company released financials that included some significant highlights just prior to the close yesterday, and the stock is gapping up heavily this morning for what should be an interesting session.

Generally in these instances we’ll be on the lookout for the phenomenon we refer to as the dip-and-rip. Stockholders see the huge run, and the resultant profit-taking usually leads to a subsequent pullback. That’s where we’re waiting to catch the bounce and snipe some rapid profits.

FreeSeas Inc. FREE

FREE made its way down to a new 52-week low of .29 yesterday and could be in prime position for a possible bounceplay. This morning, the company has revealed that it has concluded the sale of one of its vessels for $12.25M and entered into a long-term charter with the new owners >> View PR

FREE is gapping up as a result and provided that the stock can break through resistance at roughly .45 which we’ve pointed out on the following chart, things could get very interesting.

Options Trading Ideas

Blue Horseshoes Stocks: CAMT, GWPH & More

Camtek, Ltd. CAMT

Hidden gems are quite often found in our daily Extended Watchlists, and yesterday CAMT was the standout play. The stock had a monstrously strong trading day, bulling its way continuously upward for the duration.

The landmark session started at a morning low of 3.42, and culminated at a high of 5.14 just minutes prior to the close. That solid move was enough to afford traders up to 50% in intraday gains, and it occurred on volume which was 40-times greater than the 3-month average.

The commotion was caused following an announcement that CAMT has launched its next-gen semiconductor product line, and apparently has already received advance orders from some unnamed “leading device manufacturers”. >>>Read the full PR here.

GW Pharmaceuticals, Inc. GWPH

The last time GWPH appeared in our reports was back on June 23rd. We were hailing it as being among our most successful plays of the year, as our prior tracking of the options chain had led to chances at gains amounting to more than 3000%

We pointed to a revitalization of the cannabis sector as one of our other primary reasons for being interested in GWPH, and the action of the stock in the couple of weeks since then proved that our assessment was warranted. Following a low of $88.73, we witnessed a subsequent 26% run to 111.46.

Over the past three sessions, GWPH has tapered back to fill a gap on the chart (as we point out below) so we are once again placing the stock on watch, to find support here, and potentially bounce back up over the $100-mark.

Once we see a solid level of support established and GWPH begins to rebound, then we’ll be able to adjust our options-trading strategies accordingly.

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: INCC Update, AAPL, NEWL & Extended Watchlist

International Consolidated Companies, Inc. INCC

Our anticipation of a possible dip-and-rip scenario on INCC yesterday proved to be warranted, and the stock actually provided us with a number of intraday swings.

To start the day off, the stock made two significant moves, each time running 25% from .0032-.004. Toward midday we witnessed another dip to .003, and a subsequent rip on up to .0039, adding another 30% in potential gains. Finally, we saw one last swing from .0033-.0039, an 18% move, which brought our possible gains for the session to a cumulative total of 98%

INCC put in quite a good performance for a first day alert, and we’ll monitoring this one as the week progresses for the same type of volatility that offered us those chances to profit on Monday.

Apple, Inc. AAPL

Last Wednesday, we commented on the Apple-Beats rumor, as well as speculating that AAPL could be in for a run-up, and that has certainly come to pass. Our call of 604.40 as a pivot point proved accurate, as we stated that a break of that level had the potential to give way to more significant gains.

That brings us up to yesterday’s session, where AAPL went on to set a new 52-week high at 607.33. We expect AAPL Calls to continue to do well in the midst of this uptrend, and as our regular rteaders are aware, we’ve made astonishing gains from the AAPL Options Chain in the past.

NewLead Holdings Ltd. NEWL

Sometimes in the course of attempting to track to biggest potential gainers, we find that it can take several sessions for a pick to mature. Such was the case with NEWL, as we showed up slightly early to the party. The most important thing, however, was that we showed up.

We began tracking NEWL for a bottom a couple of Fridays ago, and while we were attempting to sniff out a low, the company announced a significant 1-for-50 reverse split. As the stock attempts to normalize following that major development, we are seeing a massive surge in both PPS and volume.

We will definitely be tracking NEWL more closely following this cleaning up of the share structure, as well as other developments that have been recently announced.

Commenting on Canadian Cannabis

Perhaps some of you may have already seen the stories that have been circulating about the current state of medical marijuana in Canada. This is a very complex issue that we are going to try to briefly break down to brass tacks. Essentially, beginning on the 1st of April, we are looking at the end of Canada’s MMAR (Medical Marijuana Access Regulations program, introduced more than a decade ago to allow Canadians with a need for cannabis to obtain a license to grow their own, or purchase it through one of the many dispensaries now operating across the nation.

The new rules will relegate supply duty to one of Health Canada’s eight commercial growers, or to one of roughly a dozen new growers that the Canadian health organization expects to lisnce when the new program takes effect. The move certainly has its opposition in the medical community and private sector, but barring some major development (such as a ruling by the Supreme Court of B.C., where the government is being sued under the assertion that the new laws are unconstitutional), all growing will fall to just a handful of state-sanctioned operations. What excites us most about the potential behind this development, is the direct involvement of some of the companies that we’ve been successfully tracking for quite some time which have formed a series of strategic partnerships.

Among the expected participants is one of our recent favorites in the sector, Creative Edge Nutrition, Inc (FITX). We’re eagerly awaiting further news regarding the status of its build on a 53,000sq. ft. grow facility in Lakeshore, Ontario, where it will become the largest such facility in all of Canada.

This also implicates another of our top pot performers, GrowLife, Inc. (PHOT) which has joined forces with FITX’s CEN Biotech subsidiary in this venture. The operation is expected to yield over a million pounds of marijuana annually to be distributed, with government approval, to the nearly 40,000 medical marijuana patients in Canada, a consumer-base that is expected to grow exponentially over the next few years.

Also in on the deal is ENDEXX Corp. (EDXC), whose “M3Hub Seed to Sale Tracking Platform” will be implemented to help track and maintain compliance for the facility’s huge crop output.

Other pot stocks we’ve covered stand to gain from Health Canada’s new regulations as well. Many of you will recall the huge gains we’ve already seen from Easton Pharmaceuticals, Inc. EAPH. Earlier this month, we received word that the company formed an alliance with a private B.C-based firm which has obtained government approval for its own grow operation.

All in all, we see the upcoming changes as even more reason why we can’t let the cannabis sector slip off of our radars. The new developments have been rolling in at a rapid rate, something we expect to continue indefinitely. Be sure to stay tuned as we keep you up to date on all of the exciting happenings!

Other Marijuana Related Interests

Fortitude Group, Inc. FRTD – We observed nice intraday activity from FRTD on Friday, as we had for most of the week up to that point. On the strength of a PR outlining the company’s new medical marijuana product “MariMist” designed for cancer patients, the stock made an intraday run of 43% as it spiked from a low of .0181 to touch a new high of .0259. From our initial alert low (Tuesday) at .0081, Friday’s high represents an overall move of 220%

Triton Distribution Systems, Inc. TTDZ – TTDZ has undergone a recent consolidation period after delivering us some sizable gains. Today we see news regarding the absorption of Triton into Green Cures, a story that we’re going to want to follow closely, as it could be just the catalyst we’re looking for to see TTDZ bounce back and potentially afford us a rebound opportunity:

TIBURON, CA–(Marketwired – Mar 3, 2014) – Green Cures, Inc. and Triton Distribution Systems, Inc. (OTC Pink: TTDZ) managements, announced today the conclusion and the closing of the takeover transaction and the full control of Triton by the Green Cures management. >> Full PR

Advanced Cannabis Solutions, Inc. CANN – Our first alert on CANN came on January 8th, at which point we observed a low of 6.31. What we’ve seen since then has been a rousing success-story, as the stock has gone on to hit a new high of 35.88. That’s a monstrous move of 469%, an unbelievable figure considering the price range of this stock.

Also, we have a couple of new marijuana stocks to add to our ever-expanding watchlist:

Cannabusiness Group, Inc. CBGI

Intelligent Living, Inc. ILIV

Central European Media Enterprises Ltd. CETV

We originally caught CETV on a Form-4 scan back in May of last year.  We were excited to see the buyer listed on the form as Time Warner. At the time, the stock was trading at 2.67. By late October, it hit a high of 6.60. After consolidating gradually to find support near our original alert price, prompting us to include it on Friday’s extended watchlist. After dipping to a morning low of 3.30, the stock would run as high as 5.17. marking an intraday move of  57%

Positive ID Corp. PSID

PSID has been responding extremely well since we re-commenced coverage on the stock on February 18th. At the time we observed a low of .0572. On Thursday, after several consecutive sessions of positive movement, the stock reached a high of .125, good for an overall move of 119%

We prepared a video of the PSID chart, pointing out current levels of support and resistance:

Extended Watchlist:
TVIX, DNDN, ARRY, NIHD, EGO, IAG, FNMA, FMCC

FITX, EAPH, TTDZ, GLCO & Extended Watchlist

 Creative Edge Nutrition, Inc. FITX

FITX is among the cannabis stocks that we’ve been tracking since 2012 that began to explode when 2014 trading commenced on January 2nd. We alerted readers of the likelihood of that occurrence in our final report of 2013 on New Year’s Eve. That day, we observed a low of .0045, and yesterday, FITX attained a new high at .065, which means that in just a month’s time, this stock has increased in value by 1344%

We’d like to congratulate anyone who was able to obtain even a fraction of the total possible profits that FITX has afforded us so far in 2014.

Easton Pharmaceuticals, Inc. EAPH

Marijuana related stocks are still very demanding of our attention. Even as some of our other interests in the field tapered back this week, EAPH, like FITX, was able to achieve new highs. EAPH also serves as a prime example of why we don’t discard these pot plays when they consolidate, because they have provided rebound opportunities galore.

In this particular case, EAPH came off of its New Year’s pop, and bounced off of the .008-area to recover all of its previous gains and then some. At Tuesday’s high of .028, our total possible gains from our original Jan. 8th alert from a low of .0041 stood at a whopping 583%

A golden cross formation is also in the making on the EAPH chart, which gives us all the more reason to continue to monitor this stock.

Tritan Distribution Systems, Inc. TTDZ &  Global Links Corp. GLCO

Here a couple of new plays to add to our now-enormous marijuana stocks watchlist:

TTDZ catches our eye on the heels of a filing that denoted the reduction of shares of TTDZ common stock from 1.5B to 1.2B. The stock made a huge move during yesterday’s session and appears as if it could gap up to start the day.

Already having been on a sharp uptrend in recent sessions, GLCO had after-hours news concerning the acquisition of Hemp Life Today, LLC and its online Hemp and Medical Marijuana products and information website, HempLifeToday.com, essentially launching itself into the cannabis sector. We will want to follow along to see how the trading community will receive this latest development.
