Blue Horseshoe Stocks: Options Update, NESV, WTW & More

TripAdvisor, Inc. TRIP – Options Update

Last week we were continuously tracking TRIP options, and that led to several opportunities for multi-bag profits. In addition to a slew of weekly contracts, we repeatedly mentioned our longer-term interest in the 10/30 $85 Calls.

They did manage to generate substantial gains on Wednesday, to the tune of a 120% intraday swing, and Friday’s move was also rather respectable. From a daily low of .93, the 10/30 $85’s made their way to as much as 1.40, which registers as a 51% pop.

We’re anxious to see how this morning’s news of a big extension of TRIP’s partnership with the world’s largest hotel company will be received by the community at large; these contracts could be in line for even further gains, so we’re going to leave them on our radar for the time being.

PARSIPPANY, N.J. and NEEDHAM, Mass., Oct. 19, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Building on a longstanding relationship, Wyndham Hotel Group, the world’s largest hotel company, and TripAdvisor, the world’s largest travel site*, today announced they have extended their partnership to add the hotel group’s inventory to the TripAdvisor instant booking platform. >> FULL PR

National Energy Services, Inc. NESV

We placed NESV on our extended watchlist on Wednesday as a bottom-watch play, and it too finished the week with strength. After ultimately finding support on Thursday morning at a PPS low of .02, NESV enjoyed two straight sessions of bullish activity as it pushed its way into Friday’s close at a new high of .034; a two-session increase of 70%

Moving forward, we’ll be looking for the stock to continue logging higher highs and higher lows to establish a sustained rebound pattern.

Weight Watchers International, Inc. WTW – Fresh Options Idea

One of the bigger storylines heading into this week will assuredly be the huge spike in WTW stock after an early morning announcement today revealed that Oprah Winfrey will be taking up a 10% stake in the company and joining the board. As a result, the stock has exploded in the premarket, running from the $8 range up past $13.

Whenever a knee-jerk reaction from the investment community causes this type of dramatic rise, especially when no material changes have occurred in the involved company, we always take notice. In cases such as this, it is extremely common for the rapid rise to draw profit-takers out of the woodwork, and therefore we’re going to be watching for a classic dip-and-rip.

Our initial target contracts are going to be the WTW 11/20 $10-13 Calls, which should be in line to perform quite well if the action unfolds as we suspect it may. This is going to be a very interesting play to track as we kick off this new trading week.

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: Friday’s Historical Session & More

SPY Options Recap

The SPY options we were targeting last week ended up enacting some of the most astronomical moves we’ve ever seen on Friday as the markets underwent the largest single-session red-to-green reversal in the past 4 years! We had already tracked multi-bag moves in the SPY Weekly $191.50-193 Calls which we originally signaled on Thursday, though they were mere drops in the bucket compared to the tremendous action exhibited to close out the week. These truly were some of the best opportunities to make windfall profits that you’re ever likely to see.

There simply aren’t enough superlatives to describe the profits that were possible. None of the following moves are misprints- this epic session most assuredly took place! Check out the breakdown of the possibilities on the contracts that we alerted just 24 hours earlier:

$191.50 Calls  – Daily Range: .06-3.64 – Max Gain: 5966%
$192 Calls  – Daily Range: .03-3.05 – Max Gain: 10066%
$192.50 Calls  – Daily Range: .01-2.61 – Max Gain: 26000%
$193 Calls  – Daily Range: .01-2.01 – Max Gain: 20000%

Premarket activity on the SPY this morning has fallen between 194.52-196.71 so we are going to adjust our strategy pertaining to the SPY accordingly. We’ll be on the lookout for a dip-and-rip within the first few hours of trading today. As the cards now lay, provided the action unfolds as anticipated, we’ll be tracking SPY Weekly $194-197 Calls to start the week. If the poor jobs numbers weren’t enough to sway the markets, very little else would be capable of doing so. Thus we are strongly inclined to believe that the bull market is still intact, and we’re due to see a carryover of Friday’s upward momentum into this week.

Energy Holdings International, Inc. EGYH

We tagged EGYH a little over a week ago on the 24th, and subsequently witnessed a nice move from a low of .0085 to .015 (+76%). Following a consolidation a new low of .0081 on Wednesday, we saw another larger spike to end the week on Friday. The stock managed to close at its high of day and new overall high of .02, which represents a 147% swing.

In order to keep our attention, EGYH will need to maintain support at or above the current 50DMA of .0084 on any pullbacks.

Clean Coal Technologies, Inc. CCTC

We enjoyed the chance at some nice multi-bag gains from CCTC recently, as we were mentioning in Tuesday’s report.

We also mentioned that for us to remain interested, we’d need to see the stock hold above the .65-.75 range. and as you can clearly see on the snapshot below, the stock has done an excellent job of that so far, earning itself continued placement on our watchlist as we kick off this fresh trading week.

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: Two New Plays & TASR Recap

TASER International, Inc. TASR

We re-tagged TASR in yesterday morning’s watchlist along with a link to the new PR pertaining to the influx of orders for body cameras from several law enforcement agencies across the country (View PR).

We’ve been tracking this play continuously since we first inserted into our reports the day before Thanksgiving. Over those 5½ sessions, we’ve observed a low of 20.79 (12/01), followed by a gradual rebound to back above the $24-mark.

In this morning’s premarket, the stock has thus far made its way to a high of 24.72, which represents an increase of 19% over Monday’s low. We’re going to want to keep close watch on this play as the national dialogue over the need for more stringent police oversight continues to heat up. As we stated in one of our previous reports on TASR, TASER is already a trusted name in law enforcement/personal safety products, and thus a natural choice for many of the agencies now considering the implementation of body-worn cameras.

Alaska Communications Systems Group, Inc. ALSK

ALSK is running like a scalded dog in concurrence with an after-hours PR from yesterday regarding the sale of the company’s wireless division for $300M.

Already up over 60% in premarket trading, we’re going to be on the lookout for a dip-and-rip setup to occur. After a big initial push, we’re no strangers to sniping out profits on a course correction and subsequent rebound.

ANCHORAGE, Alaska–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Alaska Communications (ALSK) has entered into a transaction to sell its remaining wireless assets to GCI Communications, Inc. (GNCMA) for $300 million and plans to use net proceeds to de-leverage its balance sheet. A stronger balance sheet, combined with top and bottom line growth, better positions the company to evaluate a variety of additional opportunities to create shareholder value.>> Full PR

Barristas Coffee Company, Inc. BCCI

We also have a possible momentum play to add to the mix this morning. In the wake of a PR announcing BCCI’s uplisting to the OTCQB yesterday, the stock began to trade up off of a  bottom and bull-rushed its way to close at its high of day (.05). The move occurred on more than 7X the monthly average volume, and any time we see momentum like that, we go on full alert for a potential continuation into the following session.

ASUV, TFER & Extended Watchlist

Harmonic Energy, Inc. ASUV

ASUV opened up at .055 yesterday, and steadily climbed all day, following alerts from us on the stock both yesterday morning and afternoon. ASUV ran as high as .109, marking a fantastic 98% gain on its second-highest volume day ever. Perfect timing on the recent bottom is what made it all possible.

One of the other reasons we like the setup on ASUV so much, is the tight share structure- 100M Authorized, 63M Outstanding, as well as the fact that the company has only $437K in total liabilities.

We are on the lookout for a possible gap up this morning after yesterday afternoon’s strong performance. As you can see on the  video chart we posted below on ASUV, the RSI is still coming off of being oversold. There is still much room for recovery, as we feel yesterday could be just day one in a turnaround that could continue to yield substantial gains.

(Includes Charts on both ASUV and TFER)

Titan Iron Ore Corp. TFER

Much like ASUV, TFER is coming off of its 52-week low, and as you all know, this is one of our favorite occurrences in the trading world. Recovery plays are our bread and butter, so its nice to have not one, but two plays that fit the description.

Yesterday, the stock posted a strong rally, making a 30% and closing near the high of day. In recent months TFER has struggled to punch through the 20DMA at .12. Ideally, we’d like to see a break past, and the PPS to hold above that point, in order to confirm a sustained uptrend.

We also included TFER in today’s joint video chart, pointing out that the PPO is pinching, so we’re looking for a cross there, and the RSI is on the cusp of breaking its 50DMA.

Wednesday’s Midday Report | BTHR, GNIN, VRNI

Big Three Restaurants, Inc. BTHR

BTHR first appeared on our extended watchlist back on January 2nd. At that time we observed the stock make a run from a low of .0012, and culminate into a high of .0036 on the 7th, following our morning feature that day. That gained us 200%

This past Tuesday morning, BTHR appeared on our extended watchlist for the first time since January, and was as low as .0009 that same trading day. This morning, we observed shares trading hands at .0027, representing the second 200% move from BTHR in as many months.

We will continue to keep this gem on our radars moving forward.

Green Innovations Ltd. GNIN

Yesterday, when we published a video chart on GNIN, we mentioned that we wanted to see support hold above its 50DMA, and break through the 20DMA. GNIN has performed just as we had hoped it would. With a low of 1.00 during trading yesterday, the stock saw a 49% move to 1.49 this morning.

We would now like to see the 20DMA at 1.25 to hold as support, and we feel there is a good chance of that. We can see the PPO pinching and getting ready for a cross, the RSI is through the 50-line and is making its way toward the 50DMA and the power zone. The indications on the chart seem to point toward an uptrend, so we definitely want to keep an eye peeled for GNIN.

___

Virogen, Inc. VRNI

VRNI came out of the gate strong this morning, gapping up to .0008 and running to .001 following our morning alert that a bounce seemed likely. We saw some profit taking pull the stock back to .0007, where it filled part of that gap-up. In that sense, it’s good for the chart to fill in those gaps, so we like what we’ve seen from VRNI thus far today. The stock is trading record volume, with more than 110M shares trading hands as of 1:40PM.

The L2 shows solid support with over 20M shares on the bid at .0006 as illustrated in the screen shot below:
