Blue Horseshoe Stocks: BBLU Update & More

Blue Earth, Inc. BBLU – Update

While we most commonly look for short-term, quick-strike trading opportunities, every so often we’ll sneak in a longer-term play, and that’s just what we did on Tuesday of last week with BBLU.

BBLU had just begun to undergo a massive selloff with no prompt from a filing or news release. This caused us to take notice and tag the stock for extended observation. Our exact words were “We’ll go ahead and reserve a slot on our radar screens for BBLU with an extended bottom-watch designation. It’s far better to show up to the party early and be ready to strike immediately upon the slightest hint of a rebound.”

As it turns out, we were absolutely spot-on in our assessment of BBLU and how to approach it. After ultimately bottoming out at a low of .04 at the end of last week, the recovery has been a thing of beauty. BBLU caught fire and ran back to a subsequent high of .23, regaining its lost ground just as we suspected. That’s an incredible 475% swing!

As we point out on the chart below, things are still looking ripe for yet another leg-up, so we’ll keep a keen eye on BBLU in the sessions ahead.

Added Notes:

Speaking of bottom-plays, we have a couple of other familiar stocks that are just now trading at their own recent lows, and could be in line for recoveries.

We’ve been tagging them in our extended watchlists recently, and we’re going to have them both on a more intensive watch moving forward.

Axion Power International, Inc. AXPW

Skyline Medical, Inc. SKLN

Fresh Options Idea

We’ll look to further our success with options plays this week with an idea we feel has good potential based on a favorable earnings report.

Dollar General, Inc. (DG) is gapping up this morning into the $79-range, so we’re going to be on the lookout for a possible dip-and-rip situation, whereupon we’ll be tracking DG Weekly $78-80.50 Calls for possible daytrade and/or swing trades into tomorrow’s session.

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: Reviewing a Monster Monday

Monday’s Huge Winners

We kicked off the week in grand fashion yesterday, with what was easily the most successful single session for stocks we’ve had so far in 2016. We had an incredible three picks, all energy-related stocks, make gains of at least a hundred percent concurrent with the continued bolstering of oil prices.

SandRidge Energy, Inc. SDOC

We continued to track SDOC yesterday, after our mention in Friday’s premarket report netted a chance at up to 35% in intraday gains (.05-0674), and the surge was sustained and multiplied. After gapping up to open at .075, the stock bulled its way to an afternoon high of .154, for a solid double-bagger (105%).

From our observed low of a nickel on Friday, yesterday’s high marked a two-session swing of 208%

______

Penn Virginia Corp. PVAH

Undoubtedly our top-gaining pick of the day, PVAH was off to the races promptly at the open.

It was a pleasure to watch as it spent the entire session in beast-mode, ramping its way up from .112 to .38 on immense volume! That’s an increase of 239% on the day, so big cheers go out to any of our readers who were able to take advantage of this gem!

______

Goodrich Petroleum Corp. GDPM

GDPM came up big as well with an excellent intraday run, while managing to hold a majority of its daily advances into the close.

It started out with a rip from .0875-.1998, an intraday move of 128%, and came in at .174 at the closing bell, finishing the day on roughly 5x its 3-month average volume.

______

Linn Co. LLC (LNCO)

While LNCO didn’t crack the double-bag threshold, it certainly had a solid session and came close. The stock traded in a range from .95-1.70, offering up intraday gains if up to 79%

______

Breightburn Energy Partners, Inc. BBEP

BBEP also put forth a modest, yet respectable performance, rounding out our group of gainers for the day with a run from .80-1.25. That gave folks a shot at gains as high as 56% on the day.

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: Options, MHRC Updates & More

Magnum Hunter Resources, Inc. MHRC

We’ll kick things off this morning by updating everyone as to the status of MHRC, which we placed in Monday’s premarket report as a bottom-watch play. We really couldn’t have timed our alert any better, and after registering a low of .021 Monday, the stock has made continuous progression throughout the week.

Yesterday, after seeing a low of .0257, MHRC ran as high as .0337, marking an intraday move of 31% As measured from our observed low on Monday, yesterday’s high represents a three-session swing of 60%

We’ll continue to remain interested in MHRC in sessions to come provided it continues to establish higher lows as it has been doing. As we’ve pointed out on the following chart snapshot, a number of factors lead us to believe that upside potential remains high with this play. The stock was beaten back vigorously earlier this month, and there are even a couple of gaps to fill on the chart.

Options Updates

We’d now like to update our readers on our options ideas from Tuesday, which included targets in the WMT and HD chains- Yesterday we stated our belief that action in WMT and HD stocks could provide options traders with further opportunities for swing trades and as it happened, we were right.

Walmart-Stores Inc. WMT – For WMT the bullish run continued, and some of the contracts we were observing recorded substantial intraday moves. Possible gains ranged from the $58 Weekly Calls, which traded in a range from 1.81-3.06, allowing for gains of up to 69%, to the $60’s which ran from .26 to 1.16 for a huge 316% rip.

___

The Home Depot, Inc HD executed a textbook dip-and-rip rallying into the close, and all of the contracts we originally signaled made big swings:

$123 Calls – Trading Range: 2.10-3.55  – Max Gain: 69%
$124 Calls – Trading Range: 1.30-2.55  – Max Gain: 96%
$125 Calls – Trading Range: .72-1.73 – Max Gain: 140%
$126 Calls – Trading Range: .33-.99 – Max Gain: 200%

Wednesday’s Other Notable Moves

In addition to the preceding plays, the following pair also made some solid intraday pushes after appearing in our morning report:

Axion Power International, Inc. AXPW turned in a nice intraday performance as it ran from a low of 1.10 to 1.60, for gains of up to 45% on nearly ten times its 30-day average volume.

Advanced Defense Technologies, Inc. ADCF ultimately ended taking a pounding into the close, but before that happened, it made a noteworthy pop straight out of the starting gate, running 39% from .0079 to .011.

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: Recapping Tuesday’s Epic Session & More

Premier Biomedical, Inc. BIEI

First up this morning is a review of the eye-popping performance of BIEI so far this week. We included it in Monday’s premarket report and the stock ran 180% intraday from .003-.0084 during that session. After a strong close which we felt qualified it a prime momentum-play candidate, we reiterated our interest yesterday morning. BIEI rewarded us yet again!

From the previous day’s closing price of .0077, we witnessed the stock explode to a daily high of .0329, an excellent intraday move of 327% From Monday’s low of .003, the high represents a swing of 997% That puts BIEI just shy of ten-bagger status in a period of only two sessions!

Big cheers go out to any of our readers who were able to take advantage of this play.

VIDEO RECAP:

We’ve prepared a video chart this morning to go over the stellar performance of not only BIEI, but also a couple of other stocks that have recently appeared in our reports that had some nice moves of their own. Lithium Exploration group Inc. LEXG (.096-.19, +98%) and Pleasant Kids, Inc. PLKD (.12-.185, +54%) had both already provided us with huge opportunities heading into yesterday, and both added to those performances in a big way. View this quick video for the full breakdown:

Options Recap

We formulated some options ideas to include in yesterday’s report, and as has become a regular occurrence for us in the options-trading arena, they all went absolutely haywire!

Walmart-Stores Inc. WMT and The Home Depot, Inc HD,were both running on earnings in the premarket and as a result, we called out our interest in WMT Weekly $58-60 Calls and HD Weekly $123-126 Calls. It wouldn’t have mattered which strike prices were chosen by traders, big profits were possible in every single case:

WMT Weeklies
$58 Calls – Trading Range: 1.43-2.90 – Max Gain: 113%
$58.50 Calls – Trading Range: 1.06-2.41 – Max Gain: 127%
$59 Calls – Trading Range: .70-1.96 – Max Gain: 180%
$59.50 Calls – Trading Range: .45-1.50 – Max Gain: 233%
$60 Calls – Trading Range: .25-1.08 – Max Gain: 332%

HD Weeklies
$123 Calls – Trading Range: 1.20-3.36  – Max Gain: 180%
$124 Calls – Trading Range: .82-2.56  – Max Gain: 212%
$125 Calls – Trading Range: .46-1.78 – Max Gain: 287%
$126 Calls – Trading Range: .25-1.05 – Max Gain: 320%

It wasn’t our first spot-on set of options calls that led to chances for epic profits, and you can rest assured that it won’t be our last. For now, both of these options chains could provide us with even further opportunities, although we may need to look at rolling our strike prices up to stay close to the money. Especially in the case of HD, the $127 and possibly $128 Calls may see heavy action; the stock is gapping up again this morning as sector rival Lowes beat on earnings today as well.

Extended Watchlist:

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: PBR, PPCH Recaps & More

Petroleo Brasiliero SA (Petrobras) PBR – Options

After quite some time away from the stock, we revisited PBR in yesterday’s premarket report, and the timing was certainly fortuitous. In the past we had grown quite accustomed to the PBR options chain providing us with chances for quick-strike profits, and it appears some things don’t change.

We made our primary focus the PBR Weekly $5.00 and $5.50 Calls with attention also going the $6 Calls if PBR broke above 5.75, which it did for a brief time. In every case, the opportunity for sizable gains in the first hour of trading was present.

The $5 Calls ran 42% from .55-.78. The $5.50’s went from .20-.36, marking an 80% pop, and the $6’s made the most notable move, running 175% from .04-.11.

We’re going to keep a continuous eye on these contracts leading right up to their expiration tomorrow afternoon.

Propanc Health Group Corp. PPCH

As we were just mentioning in yesterday’s report, PPCH has been on quite a tear since we tagged the stock in Friday’s extended watchlist. Our observed low from that afternoon was .0276.

The stock has set higher highs and higher lows every single day this week, and yesterday would go on to break a nickel. At its PPS high of .052, it marked an 88% swing from Friday’s low.  We’ll keep PPCH on our radars as long as it maintains support above a previous area of resistance around .04.

Compugen Ltd. PUGE

We also want to take a brief moment to point out the nice move made by another recent mention of ours. PUGE appeared in our extended watchlist on Tuesday, and has turned in a respectable two-session performance since that time.

The stock recorded a low of .006 on Tuesday, and yesterday it cracked the penny barrier, registering a high of .0105; a 75% session-over-session swing.

Axion Power International, Inc. AXPW

We’ve covered AXPW numerous times in the past, and after taking a look at the current setup of the chart, we’re going to begin watching it more intently in the sessions to come. Yesterday the stock was trading just .08 above its 52-week low, and it appears as if a rebound could be in the cards.
