TGRO, OLIE, PROW, ARIA & Extended Watchlist

Tiger Oil & Energy, Inc.  TGRO

We’ve been following TGRO since Monday of last week, at which time the stock was trading as low .36. After running up to the low .60’s, we observed the stock pull back to .38. We were encouraged to find that it held support above our initial alert low, as higher lows following a pullback are often a good sign.

Sure enough, since then, the stock has been stair-stepping its way up to hit yesterday’s high of .75. That marks a 108% overall move from our initial alert price, and up to 97% from TGRO’s most recent low of .38.

Olie, Inc. OLIE

On Wednesday, OLIE was an excellently timed call for us. We had the opportunity to make up to 147% profit as the stock ran from .0082-.02 before pulling back significantly to close at .0097.

Following up in yesterday’s report, we stated: “…with the kind of volatility we’re seeing out of OLIE, we definitely want to pay attention heading into week’s end. Further opportunities could certainly present themselves.” Our call turned out to be spot-on once again.

The stock shot right out of the gate to make a rapid 55% move from .0097 to .015. Then, following a pullback to .0108, it ran again, this time to .016, a 48% spike.

That brought our two-day total cumulative gains on OLIE to an impressive 250%

Progress Watch Corp. PROW

PROW popped up on our abnormal activity scanner yesterday, and we had to make certain to pass it along today.

Chart conditions appear to be favorable: The RSI is ready to breach into the power zone, and the MACD recently experienced a bullish cross. The 50DMA is rising sharply toward the 200DMA that should lead to a golden cross in the week and months ahead. Presently, we’re looking to see PROW push through and hold support above its 200DMA at  .0072.

We also want to point out that PROW boasts an extremely tight share structure, with only 25.1 million in the float as of March of this year. A stock trading at this increment with such a low float needs only a relatively small amount of buying pressure to produce significant gains.

ARIAD Pharmaceuticals, Inc. ARIA

We’ve been tracking ARIA ever since November 26th. Since that time, we’ve observed the stock trading as low as 3.80. ARIA has been picking up steam over the past few sessions, posting higher highs and higher lows for three consecutive days.

Yesterday it hit a high of 5.58, marking an increase of 47% over recent lows.

Extended Watchlist:
PLPE (Gapping Down on Large Premarket Volume), AMRN, ORMP, TSEM, CLWT, CYTR, BCRX,

BGMD, CYTR, ECTE, NRF, SIOCF & Extended Watchlist

BG Medicine, Inc. BGMD

BGMD helped us toward an extremely successful day of trading on Tuesday, and for the second day in a row, the number one spot of all newsletters on the Penny Stock Rumble.

After briefly touching a low of .6115, the stock exploded to a subsequent high of 1.29, marking a possible gain of up to 111% for sharp traders. This happened on more than 33x the 3mo. average volume, qualifying BGMD for momentum-mover status.

We’ll definitely want to follow the activity on this play today, it appears to want to gap up this morning, and could still have added gains in store for us.

Big Volume News Plays

The following three picks come off of our pre-market scanner with news out today, and we wanted to radar them. As we’ve shown with the past couple of days, our scans routinely reveal hidden gems that can provide us with an edge. We’ve taken the Penny Stock Rumble two days in a row, now let’s see that hat-trick!

Sierra Iron Ore Corp. SIOCF

While we have not been paid on SIOCF, we are aware of a paid promotion currently underway on the stock, so we thought we’d share that info.

Aside from that, the stock shows a chart that is looking ripe for a possible move. The accumulation/distribution has reached all-time highs, the RSI is coming off of being oversold, and is pushing through the 50-line. The MACD has also undergone a bullish cross.

Extended Watchlist:
GRPN, LIVE, OREX, ARIA, FREE,

TGRO, WMIH, BGMD, ZGNX, NAVB & Extended Watchlist

Tiger Oil & Energy, Inc. TGRO

For those of you who may have missed yesterday’s morning and afternoon reports on TGRO, the stock had a marquee day, putting up one of the best performances in the whole of the OTC Markets.

On more than 20x the 3mo. average volume, TGRO bulled its way upward throughout the day, starting at a low of .36 and reaching as high as .524, good for a strong intraday move and chance for up to a 46% profit. A strong close at .52 effectively puts us on the lookout for continued momentum this morning, though as always, traders should use caution on a stock that has seen such rapid increases.

Our timely mention of TGRO (coming just a day after the stock woke up from the dead) also put us at the top of Monday’s Penny Stock Rumble:

WMI Holdings Corp. WMIH

WMIH appeared on our Blue Horseshoe Stocks blog with yesterday afternoon’s alert, at which time the stock was trading in the 1.42 area. It would go on to experience a 27% move to 1.81 in the final hours of the session.

WMIH is now heading into uncharted territory, being the highest it’s ever been. We are going to be cautious for a pullback, and in that event we’d like to see the previous resistance, our alert price of 1.42, hold as support.

SEATTLE, Dec. 9, 2013 /PRNewswire/ — WMI Holdings Corp. (WMIH) (“WMI” or the “Company”) today announced that KKR & Co. L.P. has entered into a conditional commitment letter to make a strategic investment in the Company (the “Commitment Letter”), dated December 8, 2013. >>>Read Release

BG Medicine, Inc. BGMD

We’ve also got a new item for your tickers this morning. BGMD has news out, and looks set for an interesting session as the stock is gapping up in pre-market trading, coming off of recent lows and breaking above the 50DMA (.64), a recent area of resistance.

We’ll be monitoring BGMD today as it reacts to this morning’s announcement:

WALTHAM, Mass., Dec 10, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE via COMTEX) — BG Medicine, Inc. (Nasdaq:BGMD) announced today that the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) have published the final determination of the 2014 Medicare national limitation amount for the Company’s galectin-3 blood test (analyte-specific CPT(R) Code 82777) at the amount of a crosswalked test (analyte-specific CPT(R) Code 84244) whose 2014 national limitation amount is $30.01. Extended Watchlist:
GERN, ARIA, CNDO, RMBS, VTNC, BLRX, NWBO

AAPL, DUSS, ZOOM, ILST & Extended Watchlist

Apple, Inc. AAPL – Options

In Friday’s daily report, we were focusing in on AAPL options. We were watching the $550 Weekly Calls, which dipped as low as .66 before running as high as 8.35, a remarkable intraday move of 1165% They would close the session strong at 6.50. We had also added the $555’s to our radar. Those were as cheap as a nickle, and ran as high as 3.35, for an astonishing 6600% rip. You didn’t read that wrong. We said six-thousand, six hundred percent! Even the $560 Calls (that we mentioned would be a target provided AAPL broke through the $557-mark) traded in a vast range from .03 up to 1.51 (+4933%).

AAPL Options were certainly a trader’s paradise on Friday, so congratulations to anyone who caught our morning report and was able to get in on the incredible action! We’re looking for the upward momentum we saw in AAPL to continue into this week, and wouldn’t be at all surprised to see AAPL at, near, or above $600 by the end of 2013.

Dussault Apparel, Inc. DUSS

We mentioned Friday that if DUSS hold support above the .0007 area that we would remain interested in the stock. It managed to do more than that, trading in a daily range from .0008-.001, giving traders the chance at up to a 25% intraday gain.

We’re tracking DUSS following an announcement that the company would be shifting focus to the mining sector by acquiring some mineral claims, and so we’re going to want to follow that story to its conclusion. The claims, referred to as  “Montauban Gold Tailings” could mean a significant revenue stream for the company if they begin producing gold. While it’s still quite early in this developing storyline, it’s worth keeping an eye on moving forward.

Zoom Technologies, Inc. ZOOM

ZOOM came off of our watchlist on Friday and turned out to be quite an aptly-named stock. It zoomed upward from a low of 5.96, and afforded folks the chance at up to 39% in intraday gains as it touched a high of 8.30.

This comes on the heels of Friday’s announcement that the company had entered into a letter of intent to possibly acquire Baifen Tonglian IT Co., Ltd. which is one of China’s leading mobile ad services providers.

International Star, Inc.  ILST

ILST was another play from our radar on Friday, and it played out a classic dip-and-rip scenario during the day’s session. After touching a low of .002, the stock would rally to close at its high of day at .0028. That was good for an intraday opportunity at a gain of 40%

Extended Watchlist:
ARIA, CAMT, ALU, FRO, CTIC, BOSC, WYY, NLST, MACK

ARIA, CAMT, MACK, ECPN & Extended Watchlist

ARIAD Pharmaceuticals, Inc.  ARIA

Lately, our scans have  certainly been yielding some profitable plays, and after appearing both in Friday’s extended watchlist and yesterday morning’s report, ARIA claimed its place as the next big winner to add to that list. As we approach Thursday’s holiday hiatus, we are expecting market activity to taper as people begin to travel to their holiday destinations and generally prepare for upcoming festivities. We may decide to suspend Wednesday’s newsletter, barring some unforeseen development that may need relaying.

But for now, let’s talk about the big day ARIA had for us yesterday. After opening at 4.06, the stock came back to a low of 3.92  before running up to close at 5.13. The Northerly movement continued post-market, and the stock is gapping up this morning, so we don’t want to let ARIA slip from our radars now. Remember, this stock was trading as high as the 17.00-range as recently as last month, so it still may have some ground to recover.

So far, from Friday’s low of 3.30, the bounce on ARIA has afforded us the opportunity to make up to 55% profit (at yesterday’s closing price) and we suspect that figure could continue to grow today.

Camtek Ltd.  CAMT

CAMT came off of yesterday’s extended watchlist after it had been gapping up in premarket trading, and continued to roll throughout the day. We witnessed a move from 4.11 to a high of 5.29 on 58x the 3mo. average volume, qualifying this as a serious momentum play.

It appears CAMT will gap up once again (currently trading above 6.00) so we have our eyes peeled for continued upward activity today.

Merrimack Pharmaceuticals, Inc. MACK

On November 8th, MACK appeared in our daily report, at which time we mentioned a “big gap on the chart between the 3.00-3.40 level” that would bring us excessive gains if filled. We went on to mention the key point to watch for was a break of the 3.00 mark, and we did in fact witness that event this past Friday.

The move we were watching for did come to fruition, and the party may not be over yet; the stock is currently trading in the 3.50-range, so we will be very interested to see what happens today. We’d like to see MACK hold support at the 50DMA of 3.26 in order for it to have a good chance to pile on some added gains.

El Capitan Precious Metals, Inc. ECPN

ECPN hit our scanners today as a stock coming off of a recent consolidation that followed a big run on the chart. In early October it ran off of its 52-wk low (.055) and would subsequently hit .41 (Nov 13th) before pulling back to find support at .1142 last Thursday. Since that time it has been logging higher lows and higher highs, so we’d like to see a continuation of that trend which could make ECPN fall under the category of a solid recovery play.

We prepped a video chart on ECPN, click below and take a look:
