Blue Horseshoe Stocks: Recent Big Winners

SUCCESSFUL OPTIONS REVIEW

If you’ve been following our work for a long time, you have no doubt noticed a change over the years. From mainly OTC picks and the occasional big board play, to our present state. We still highlight pure stock plays when the situation calls for it, but the bulk of what makes us so accurate and successful is most definitely our knack for quick-strike options trading.

On Friday, both of our fresh ideas popped off for huge gains, and  play that we were tracking through the short week also added to its gains. We’ll outline the total possible profits from each of those trade ideas to start this new trading week:

SPY Weekly $298-299 Calls
$215 Calls – Range: .45-.97 – Max Gain: 116%
$217.50 Calls – Range: .29-.63 – Max Gain: 117%
$220 Calls – Range: .17-.38 – Max Gain: 124%

LULU Weekly $197.50-200 Calls

_____

PVH Corp. PVH

We were discussing PVH for half of the short week beginning on Tuesday with our signal on the PVH 09/20 $75-85 Calls on Wednesday morning, and the movement in the stock allowed additional gains throughout the week. Here are the updated figures of the maximum possible profits off of those ideas:

$75 Calls – Range: 5.10-11.10 – Max Gain: 118%
$80 Calls – Range: 2.00-6.50 – Max Gain: 250%
$85 Calls – Range: .55-2.90 – Max Gain: 427%

Fresh Options Idea:
CARB 10/18 $17.50 Calls

Pier 1 Imports Inc. PIR

We also want to provide a quick recap of the performance of PIR since we called it as a bottom-watch play a little over two weeks ago on August 23rd. We went so far as to say “From current pricing, it would not be crazy to think that this retail stock may be capable of doubling”.

The following day the stock saw a low of 3.76, and hasn’t looked back since. On Friday it hit a new high of 7.20, falling just shy of our possibility assessment with a total increase of 91% over the past couple of weeks.

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: PANW Pops & More

Palo Alto Networks, Inc. PANW

Fresh for yesterday’s morning report, we offered up an idea for the PANW chain, the PANW Weekly $215-222.50 Calls. With the aid of an excellent session for the markets as a whole, PANW went with the trend and produced enough intraday movement to provide us with significant single-session gain opportunities.

Here were the maximum possible gains that were on the table for the day, which were, quite frankly, very impressive:

$215 Calls – Range: .20-2.06 – Max Gain: 930%
$217.50 Calls – Range: .15-1.05 – Max Gain: 600%
$220 Calls – Range: .06-.38 – Max Gain: 533%
$222.50 Calls – Range: .06-.20 – Max Gain: 233%

_____

PVH Corp. PVH

Our next order of business as we close out this holiday-shortened week is to provide further updates on PVH. We scored multi-bag gains with all three of our highlighted contracts,  the PVH 09/20 $75-85 Calls on Wednesday, and cautioned readers that more gains could be on the way in yesterday’s report.

That’s exactly what occurred, so this morning we are updating the highs on our ideas, which extend the total possible profits over a two-day span by a significant margin.

$75 Calls – Range: 5.10-9.89 – Max Gain: 94%
$80 Calls – Range: 2.00-5.60 – Max Gain: 180%
$85 Calls – Range: .55-2.49 – Max Gain: 353%

Fresh Options Idea:
SPY Weekly $298-299 Calls*
LULU Weekly $197.50-200 Calls

*Please don’t attempt to trade options with a weekly expiration on Fridays unless you are an advanced level trader with access to disposable funds!

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: Options Reviews

OPTIONS REVIEW

We formulated two options ideas for yesterday morning’s premarket report, and with the help of a gap-and-go session for the overall markets, we saw appreciable gains in each and every contract we had designated for observation.

SPDR S&P500 (ETF) SPY -The SPY is always our go-to when we have a gut feeling about market sentiments, and the number of times we’ve found success with trading its options is practically uncountable at this point. Yesterday’s idea was no exception.

Our targets, the SPY Weekly 292-293.50 Calls performed admirably, providing ourselves and our readers with the following profit chances:

$292 Calls – Range: .91-2.04 – Max Gain: 124%
$292.50 Calls – Range: .60-1.53 – Max Gain: 155%
$293 Calls – Range: .33-1.07 – Max Gain: 224%
$293.50 Calls – Range: .14-.61 – Max Gain: 336%

_____

PVH Corp. PVH

Following a large Form-4 buy on the part of the CEO, we were interested in a longer-term play on PVH, highlighting the PVH 09/20 $75-85 Calls and those were able to get some traction on our first day of observation.

With an expiration still two weeks away, we’ll have plenty of time to realize any further gains, but the first day performance is certainly worthy of mentioning.

$75 Calls – Range: 5.10-7.02 – Max Gain: 38%
$80 Calls – Range: 2.00-3.40 – Max Gain: 70%
$85 Calls – Range: .55-1.25 – Max Gain: 127%

Fresh Options Idea:
PANW Weekly $215-222.50 Calls

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: ARDX Recap, Options Ideas

Ardelyx, Inc. ARDX

We selected ARDX yesterday morning for inclusion in our daily extended watchlist, and to be perfectly honest, our timing couldn’t have been much better. The stock exploded out of the gate, and despite a down day for the markets at large, ARDX bucked the trend with its biggest single session move since 2017.

The stock managed an intraday range of 3.77-5.95 which works out to a daily gain of 58% The stock ended the session with a bullish close 5.82, losing very little of its gained ground  That puts it in the class of possible momentum mover, so we’ll certainly continue to keep our eyes peeled for further gain opportunities.

PVH Corp. PVH

Following an earnings beat last week for the owner of the once extremely popular Tommy Hilfiger clothing brand, PVH has been making attempts to come up off of its bottom for a few sessions. Today, we’ve spotted a $10M Form-4 buy from the CEO, and coupled with the positioning of the chart, we would like to signal an options idea for the chain.

Taking all of the current circumstances into account, we are going to be tracking the PVH 09/20 $75-85 Calls, in the days and weeks to come.

Bonus Idea:
SPY Weekly 292-293.50 Calls

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: SRPT Bottom-Watch

Ulta Beauty, Inc. ULTA

Before we broke for the holiday weekend on Friday, we designated a last minute bearish options idea for ULTA in our premarket report, and thanks to a lackluster day for stocks in general as the markets fell, we saw some nice gains out of those plays, which were the ULTA Weekly $265-260 Puts..

The company also had reported and missed on earnings, receiving multiple analyst downgrades to add fuel to the fire. All of those elements converged to make for the following possible gains for anyone who had caught our alert in the morning.

The $265 Puts traded up from a low of 12.30 and more than doubled as they ran to 26.46 for an intraday move of 115%  The $260’s posted an even bigger gain, running form 7.40-19.90, which worked out to a total possible profit of 169%

Sarepta Therapeutics, Inc. SRPT

We want to take a look at SRPT as we kick off this short trading week, and form an extended term idea. The stock is heavily oversold at present time as it searches out a bottom, and we would like to be ready and waiting when what we feel is an imminent recovery begins.

There is also a massive topside gap on the SRPT chart that could give the stock even more breathing room when it finally makes its reversal and begins to trend up again. We are going to give ourselves plenty of time on this one, signaling the SRPT 10/04 $91.50-94 Calls to watch in coming weeks.
