CETV, VNDA, PHOT & Extended Watchlist

Central European Media Enterprises, Inc. CETV

We first caught CETV off of one of our From-4 scans back on May 10th. Time Warner had just purchased a block of shares worth close to $75M, and it caused us to take notice of the stock. At the time, we observed trades as low as 2.67.

As you can see on the chart below, CETV was on a fairly steady incline after that, recently (10/25) hitting a high of 6.60, a 147% move off of our observed bottom.

Shortly thereafter the stock would be subject to a big gap-down, and would continue to pull back to its current price in the low 2.00-range. The chart indicates that CETV is extremely oversold, and it has made higher lows over the past few sessions as it attempts to reverse its course. We want to keep our eyes peeled to this one, because conditions seem to be ripening for what could be a heck of a rebound.

Vanda Pharmaceuticals, Inc. VNDA

VNDA was a momentum play that we caught and included in yesterday’s extended watchlist. The company currently has a NDA (new drug application) filed with the FDA that treats chronic circadian arrhythmia.

After touching a low of 11.07 we saw a subsequent high of 13.49, a 22% intraday gain.

Growlife, Inc. PHOT

PHOT continues to be among our favorite medical/legal marijuana stocks, a play that we’ve followed for well over a year. Beginning at the end of August, trading at .0318, we realerted PHOT and began talking about it more and more.  We posted another reminder on the 16th of September, and once again on October 22nd, when we mentioned that a golden cross on the chart was imminent.

During yesterday’s session PHOT hit .1029, which marks a 224% increase off of the bottom we observed in late August. Even those who missed that report, could have caught the stock as low as .042 following the 09/16 reminder, for up to a 125% gain at yesterday’s high. From the third report we mentioned (10/22), significant gains to the tune of 43% from .0719-.1029 could have been achieved.

Extended Watchlist:
VDSC,  NURO, MSTX, FU, SUTR, YRCW(Huge gap down looking for reversal)
PBPB(Gapping up on positive earnings looking for continuation)

ARO, RMTI, PHOT & Extended Watchlist

Aeropostale, Inc. ARO

At the beginning of August, ARO began to experience a substantial sell-off that would cause the stock to fall from the $15-range to less than $8 at the beginning of this month. We are standing at the ready this morning as we’ve observed some northward pre-market trading, with shares changing hands for as much as 10.13. The significant gaps on the chart being filled could provide not only opportunities on the stock side of things, but in the trading of options contracts as well.

The 10/19 $9.00 Calls are of particular interest to us; Closing at .35 yesterday, and with this morning’s gap-up activity, these calls could open up as much as 100%  In that event, we would be looking for a consolidation before getting our feet wet.

Rockwell Medical, Inc. RMTI

RMTI would make a nice intraday move for us after its appearance in yesterday’s morning report, running from a low of 8.75 and reaching its peak at 11.80, good enough for a 35% gain.

Following the high, the stock came back as low as 9.85. Moving we are looking for the stock to hold support at its previous swing low of 8.75. In the meantime the company released an encouraging PR today announcing the completion of an important step in getting a new kidney drug to market, that appears to be contributing to yet another gap-up situation today.

WIXOM, MI–(Marketwired – Sep 17, 2013) – Rockwell Medical (NASDAQ: RMTI), a fully-integrated biopharmaceutical company targeting end-stage renal disease (ESRD) and chronic kidney disease (CKD) with innovative products and services for the treatment of iron deficiency, secondary hyperparathyroidism and hemodialysis, today announced the U.S. Food & Drug Administration (FDA) accepted the proposed proprietary trade name Trifericfor the Company’s investigational iron-delivery drug, previously known as Soluble Ferric Pyrophosphate (SFP), which is intended for treating iron deficiency in chronic kidney disease patients receiving hemodialysis. A request for proprietary name review for Trifericwill be filed with the New Drug Application (NDA) submission.>>>FULL STORY

GroLife, Inc. PHOT

We had another gainer in PHOT yesterday, as the stock jumped from .046 to .061, affording us the opportunity at a 33% intraday rip. Since 08/30 when we re-mentioned PHOT, it has been as low as .0318, which makes yesterday’s high a move of 93%

For almost a year now, we’ve placed a strong focus on marijuana-related stocks, publishing several reports, and doing the most recent followup at the end of August. The industry has, and we believe, will continue to bring us profits in the future. It’s for that reason we suggest everyone keep a marijuana stock watchlist of their own. We have only just begun to realize the potential for this up-and-coming sector, which is certain to be a high-growth area for years to come.

Extended Watchlist:
AGEN, NBS, BCRX, RGDO, SUTR, DNDN, MATR, SD

CERP, SFOR, SCXN & Extended Watchlist

Cereplast, Inc. CERP

Yesterday morning we made sure to give everyone a heads up on the momentum and volume flowing through CERP, and we sincerely hope people were paying attention. The stock had one heck of a trading session, gapping up to at the open, touched a low of .0451 (just above the level we wanted to see hold as support) before trending up steadily to close one tick below the six-cent high of day at .0599. That represents a nifty intraday move of 33%

We’ve also pointed out a few key features on the chart below:

___

Strikeforce Technologies, Inc. SFOR

SFOR was included in yesterday’s extended watchlist, and went on to turn in a great performance. Like CERP, SFOR gapped up in the morning to .003, and closed at its high of day .005 for a 67% rip. It broke a key resistance level at .0048. The next hurdle is at .0054 (100DMA), followed by .0059 and .0063, recent swing highs from last year.

Should the stock fail to make it past those areas of resistance, we will expect a pullback, however, the volume this week has totaled nearly 50M shares, which indicates that there is a chance for us to see the current momentum spill over into next week.

___

Scout Exploration, Inc. SCXN

We’ve had this play on our long-term watchlist; we’ve done a profile, and a video chart in recent months. If you read the profile and watch the previous video, the stock has done everything we wanted it to do. It held support and has reached a new high, and as long as it continues to make higher highs and higher lows, we will remain bullish on SCXN.

We’ve also prepared an updated video chart which you can view by clicking below:
