Vaxart Inc. VXRT – News Alert

We’ve been tracking VXRT pretty closely in recent weeks, and wanted to include a lonk to the coronavirus news the company put out this morning, which points to the company possible making some headway in the fight to develop a vaccine. It’s sending the stock on a ride in the premarket, and keeping us on high alert.

Vaxart Inc. VXRT – Review

VXRT was one of the first coronavirus plays we signaled interest in tracking since we tagged it on January 31st at a low of .956. We’ve mentioned it a couple more times since then, including the end of last month and yesterday morning.

The stock has been on the rise for pretty much the entire month of April so far, and yesterday it attained yet another new high for us, registering trades for as much as 4.12. From our originally observed low, that represents a total increase of 331% in the span of what has otherwise been three difficult months!

JNJ Options Recap, Fresh ideas

Johnson & Johnson JNJ – We have been following one of our longer-term ideas in the JNJ chain for exactly three weeks now, having first offered up the idea on the 7th. There has been some very nice headway made over this time, and we have some new highs to report today.

We had one lone set of fresh options ideas to start the week off yesterday, signaling our interest in the SPY Weekly $284-286 Calls .

The markets did see a sharp rise in the first half of the session, despite returning to close flat on the day. That allowed for some reasonably solid chances for quick-strike gains in our designated target range.

OWC Pharmaceutical Research Corp. OWCP

It turned out to be OWCP that put up the most notable performance off of our extended watchlist yesterday. We saw the stock do big things last year, but were mentioning it for only the second time in 2020.

It put forth a couple of nice little moves on the day, first trading up from a low of .014 to .0289 (+92%), then pulling back to .0192 before hitting a new high of .036 (+88%). In total, the stock rose 157% from its early morning low to the ultimate high set during power hour.
