Blue Horseshoe Stocks: Options Ideas, Chatroom Call & More

Options Update

Medivation, Inc. MDVN

The fresh idea that we produced in yesterday’s morning report was a rousing success. We had our sights set on MDVN Weekly $41.50-43.50 Calls as outlined in our watchlist, and from within that range came multiple chances for outstanding intraday gains.

$42 Calls – Trading Range: .54-4.29 – Max Gain: 694%
$42.50 Calls – Trading Range: 1.75-3.70 – Max Gain: 111%
$43 Calls – Trading Range: .80- 2.07 – Max Gain: 159%\

The stock is gapping up drastically in the premarket, so we expect it to add to those gains this morning.

__________

Fresh Ideas:

Tesla Motors, Inc. TSLA – Today we’re going to hone in on TSLA Weekly $240-250 Calls* for possible daytrades.

ProShares Ultra VIX Short-Term Futures UVXY – The markets don’t seem to be responding well to the new jobs figures. Our related target is going to be Weekly UVXY $19-21 Calls*.

*Don’t forget, trading weekly options on Friday is very risky. Not to be attempted if you’re anything less than an expert trader!

Bottom-Watchlist Updates

RCPI, TWER, SKYS, UAMY

Yesterday morning, we gave our readers a heads-up on four big board plays that were trading at relative bottoms that we wanted to watch for rebound activity. While it was the most pronounced in SKYS, all four of them produced some level of intraday upswing.

Sky Solar Holdings Ltd. SKYS – As we said, the clear winner for the session was SKYS which rode a wave of upward momentum from a morning low of 1.30 to a subsequent high of 2.58. That gave anyone who caught our alert a chance at gains of up to 98% on the day! The ranges and gains on the remaining trio of bottom plays were as follows:

Rock Creek Pharmaceuticals, Inc. RCPI – Range: .295-.365  – Gained: 24%

United States Anitmony Corp. UAMY – Range: .1997-.243 – Gained: 22%

Towerstream Corp. TWER – Range: .1099-.129 – Gained: 17%

We’ll leave all four on our radars in sessions to come to spy for signs of continued recoveries, with the recording of higher lows and higher highs.

_____

Strikeforce Technologies, Inc. SFOR

We also had SFOR come off of our extended watchlist to put up a solid session. The stock ran from a low of .0007 and reached .0013 for an 86% intraday rip.

Latest From the Chatroom

As many of you already know, we conduct daily live traders chats via Skype, and one of our valued participants produced another bigtime winner yesterday. DJ was at it again with his knack for sussing out hidden gems, and the whole group benefited.

He spotted NVNT and shared with the room, and what followed was an epic run from .002-.024 (+1100%).

If this isn’t an example of why we urge our readers to get involved with the chats nothing is, so do yourself a favor and send a Skype contact request to username stocksumo and start participating today!

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: SPDC Update, Options Ideas & More

Speed Commerce, Inc. SPDC

We tagged SPDC for observation in our premarket report on Friday, and what has followed is two consecutive days of upward momentum.

We observed a low of .018 on Friday morning, and a subsequent high of .0289 for an intraday gain of 61% Then yesterday the stock traded in a range from .0289 to .041, for a 42% intraday rip. All told, SPDC made an total session-over-session swing of 128% since we began tracking the stock.

We’ll continue to do so for the time being- the recovery off of recently recorded annual lows has been rapid, as can be seen on the following chart snapshot. A return to PPS-levels of just a few weeks ago would mean significant gains from the current price, so we’ll have our eyes peeled for the possibility of a continued uptrend.

Fresh Options Ideas

After poring over the earnings calendar from post-market yesterday and this morning, we came across a pair of interesting plays for which we’ll formulate a couple of correlated options ideas.

FirstMerit Corp. FMER

Despite an earnings miss this morning, FMER is flying in premarket trading on concurrent news of a $3.4B buyout/merger with Huntington Bancshares in a deal that will effectively create the state of Ohio’s largest regional bank. We’re going to tag the FMER 02/19 $17.50 and $20 Calls for potential dip-and-rip scenarios.

____

Rambus, Inc. RMBS

Regarding RMBS, we’re seeing a classic earnings-beat gap up to the tune of 7% in early trading today. Better than expected figures were released post-market yesterday, so we’ll be tracking a set of contracts here as well. Specifically, the RMBS 02/19 $12 Calls.

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: Friday’s Big Winners & More

Sandridge Energy, Inc. SDOC

SDOC was the focus of our closing thought in Friday’s premarket report, and the direct assumption we made about the likelihood of a rebound proved to be very accurate, to put it mildly. The nature of the premarket activity on the stock led us to believe that a bounce was imminent, as we pointed out, and the ensuing price action was quite impressive.

From an early low of .0339, SDOC soared as high as .085, for an intraday burst of 143%, and the move occurred on very heavy volume of more than 5X the monthly average.

It’s fair to mention that following its recent delisting from the NYSE to OTC, the company issued a statement citing that it cannot guarantee its listing and/or trading status moving forward. (View 8K) Those proceeding with speculation into the stock henceforth should do so with utmost caution.

LegacyXChange, Inc. LEGX

LEGX was another play from Friday’s watchlist to do very well on the day. It ran 68% from a low of .025 up as high as .042 on six times the average volume. It represented a momentary breach of the 200DMA, and the fourth consecutive session of higher highs and higher lows.

This is what we characterize as a low-float play; those stocks with tight share structures such as this one have the ability to make exactly the types of moves we witnessed on Friday when significant buying pressure is applied. We’ll continue to remain interested in LEGX provided it maintains support at or above Friday’s swing low at .025.

Sunshine Biopharma, Inc. SBFM

Last but not least among notable plays from Friday’s morning report is SBFM. We’ve been tracking this stock heavily since December 29th, and have observed it trading as low as .008 following that report. It has been on an epic uptrend since then, and managed to set new highs once again on Friday.

It started out trading as low as .023 and surged as high as .0375 for an intraday run of 63% and an overall move of 369% in the eight sessions since we first mentioned it to our readers. SBFM has achieved higher highs and higher lows in seven of those eight sessions.

As pointed out on the following chart snapshot, we’ll need to see SBFM maintain above its previous swing-low of .023 to hold our attention moving forward.

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: STZ Update & More

Constellation Brands, Inc. STZ – Options Update

Our attention was drawn to STZ yesterday morning, because while the market in general was lagging, STZ was going against the grain with a premarket gap-up. We wanted to signal some calls in the STZ options chain that we felt would provide the chance for quick-strike profits, and ultimately settled upon STZ 01/15 $135-150 Calls.

Our idea turned out to be spot-on, with every set of contracts in our target range making appreciable intraday moves:

$135 Calls – Trading Range: 8.90-17.00  – Max Gain: 91%
$140 Calls – Trading Range: 7.30-13.40 – Max Gain: 84%
$145 Calls – Trading Range: 3.40-7.45 – Max Gain: 119%
$150 Calls – Trading Range: .95-3.90  – Max Gain: 311%

As we can see from those numbers, the heaviest action obviously fell at the high end of our specified range, and from this point on, we’ll be continuing to monitor the $150 Calls as well as possibly rolling up to the $155 Calls based on the gap-up we’re now seeing in today’s premarket activity.

Carolco Pictures, Inc. CRCO

It was just a couple of days ago that we were giving ourselves a pat on the back for putting CRCO on our radars back in mid-December, allowing us to witness the run it made earlier this week from .0011-.0054 (+391%).

Yesterday, the stock mananged another big intraday spike which carried it to new highs and increased our observed range on the stock considerably. From an early swing low of .0037 CRCO surged 170%, up to a new high of a penny. It marked an overall jump of  809% over Monday’s low.

Sunshine Biopharma, Inc. SBFM

SBFM is another play we’ve been tracking this week that has gone from subpenny to penny prices in a heartbeat, and it too set new highs during yesterday’s trading session.

The stock ran 85% intraday from .017-.0314, and that newly established high extended our overall observed range on SBFM  from its low of .008 on the day of our initial alert on December 29th, to a whopping 292%

Fresh Options Idea –
Based on this morning’s market activity we want to radar SPY Weekly $194.50-197.50 Calls for possible day-trade opportunities.

Bottom Watchlist Addition

Yesterday we put four stocks on bottom-watch, and we’ve got another potential bounceplay to add to that list. In this case the rebound may be forthcoming, as premarket activity suggests so we’ll keep a close watch over   Sandridge Energy, Inc. SDOC which absolutely fell off a cliff yesterday.

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: SBFM Update, Options Idea & More

Sunshine Biopharma, Inc. SBFM

We initially tagged SBFM for observation four sessions back (exactly one week ago) after noticing abnormal activity the day prior, and were immediately met with a big run from .008-.0183 (129%) that first day. In each of the sessions since the stock has recorded higher lows and to open up 2016 trading yesterday the stock jumped to impressive new highs.

From a daily low of .013 SBFM made a nice intraday move totaling 65% as pushed its upper limits to a .0214 on heavy volume.  That represented an overall swing in the three sessions since we’ve  been tracking it to a highly respectable 168%

The overall uptrend kicked off with the revelation that the company had acquired all of the worldwide patents for its “anticancer compound”, Adva-27a >>>VIEW PR

Breathe eCig Corp. BVAP

BVAP was an item of interest in our report from last Wednesday, and it took only three sessions to realize the big move we suspected might be in store. The company has been consistently retiring its convertible debt in tranches over the past several months, and a deal that will allow for full repayment was the subject of an announcement that hit wires yesterday. (VIEW PR)

That news helped to push the stock to a new high of .0039, which from our observed low of .0015 on the day of our initial alert, goes down in the books as a three-day swing of 160%

Smith & Wesson Holding Corp. SWHC – Options Idea

SWHC caught our eye in the premarket this morning and struck us as a possible opportunity to see some big intraweek swings in some options calls. As the Obama administration presses for heightened restrictions on firearms, gun manufacturers are reporting exceptionally increased demand.

Add in yesterday’s post-market earnings which reflected bolstered sales and 2016 guidance, and we have a potential recipe for continued bullishness.

As a result, we want to put a range of options on our radars; specifically the SWHC Weekly $24-26 Calls. We’ll be in the lookout for a possible dip-and-rip scenario to kick things off, and will remain interested as long as the dip carries the stock no lower than $24.
