Blue Horseshoe Stocks: LULU Recap & More

Lululemon Athletica Inc. LULU – Update

We signaled a range of calls in the LULU options chain in the wake of the company’s earnings beat yesterday morning, and we were met with some fantastic opportunities at huge single-session gains.

Every one of the five sets of contracts, the LULU Weekly $83-85 Calls, produced a shot at double-bag gains on the day, which were as follows:

$83 Calls
– Range: 1.60-4.50  – Max Gain: 181%
$83.50 Calls – Range: 1.25-4.15 – Max Gain: 232%
$84 Calls – Range: 1.20-3.80– Max Gain: 217%
$84.50 Calls – Range: 1.00-2.90 – Max Gain: 190%
$85 Calls – Range: .82-3.24 – Max Gain: 295%

With such solid moves in just one day, LULU doesn’t owe us anything, but we’re still going to roll up our potential strike range and monitor the Weekly $85-86 Calls* as we finish out this short trading week.

Fresh Options Idea:
Constellation Brands, Inc. STZ Weekly $222.50-230 Calls*

*Do NOT trade weekly calls on the last day of the week unless you are an expert level trader!

Elev8 Brands, Inc. VATE

As you can see from our commentary on the annotated chart below, we’re interested in the setup of the VATE chart at the moment. The stock just began to consolidate off of a sizable surge that had persisted for most of this month.

We’re going to put it on bottom watch, and look for an eventual rebound in the event it can maintain support at or above the .05-mark.

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: BURL Recap & More

Burlington Stores, Inc. BURL – Options Update

Our first order of business this morning will be to go back to the options idea we signaled for the BURL chain on Thursday morning, the BURL 03/17 $85-95 Calls. We reported the solid gains that the strong earnings report allowed us on that first day in Friday’s morning report, and today we’ll have to follow up once again to relay the added opportunities we saw to close out the week.

We did caution on Friday that based on premarket activity, our ranges could be extended considerably, and that’s exactly what happened. The updates ranges showing the total moves we seen over a two session span are as follows:

$85 Calls – Range: 5.60-11.13 – Max Gain: 99%
$90 Calls – Range: 2.50-7.35 – Max Gain: 194%
$95 Calls – Range: .71-3.50 – Max Gain: 392%

Galectin Therapeutics, Inc. GALT

GALT is a stock that we began tracking earlier in 2017, including it in our report on January 17th. Shortly following that alert, the stock saw a low of .935 and it hasn’t looked back since.

We followed up with an update of GALT on February 10th, at which time we had seen a relatively modest range of .935 to 1.29 (+38%). We noted that the gains would be “sustainable if GALT can manage to crack past the current 200DMA” (then at 1.32).

That did happen, and on the 15th we posted another followup stating “One more bullish push will get us into double-bagger territory for this idea, and the stock may well make a run into the 2.00-range.” Our assumptions proved spot-on again, as one week later, the stock went on to hit a high of 2.21, representing a total move up from our observed low of .935 amounting to 136%

Once again GALT is heading to highs, this morning trading as high as 2.30 in the premarket on the heels of some positive clinical trial data (>>View PR). We’re going to want to be paying attention to its activity as we open up another trading week, as expectations of extended gains once again do not seem unreasonable.

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: SFEG Review & More

Santa Fe Gold Corp. SFEG

SFEG, a stock we’ve been continuously tracking since Friday morning, has provided us with ample opportunities to profit in each session since then. The first day, a move from .0115-.0165 was good for gains of up to 43%  To open up the week on Tuesday, it amazingly ran from .0194 all the way up to .044, an added move of 127%

Then in yesterday morning’s premarket report, we relayed to our readers that a dip-and-rip scenario could be in the cards granted the rapidity with which the stock shot up in the prior session. That’s exactly what came to pass, as SFEG peeled back slightly to an even .04 in the morning before gathering a head of steam that would carry it up to a new high of .065!

It went down in the books as an intraday gain of 62% and from our observed low of .0115 on Friday, it marked an incredible three-session swing of 465% Big cheers go out to anyone who took advantage of this momentum-mover! Stipulating that the stock must hold support at or above yesterday’s swing low of .04 to hold our attention, we’ll be on the lookout for further opportunities from this point forward.

Gold Resource Corp. GORO

Speaking of momentum, we’re going to circle back around to GORO this morning for an update on its recent progress. We flagged this play for observation just under two weeks ago and subsequently witnessed it trading as low as 3.19 , and in the last four sessions, the stock has done a good job of both recording higher lows and higher highs, as well as logging a higher trading volume each day.

From a low of 3.41 a week ago today, GORO hit a high of 4.69 yesterday afternoon, which marks a solid upswing of 38%  Over the aforementioned observed low, it represented a total move of 47% in a matter of six sessions. We’ll be following this play for as long as it continues to exhibit signs of bullishness, building a higher base level of support in sessions to come.

Marinus Pharmaceuticals, Inc. MRNS

We also want to quickly draw some attention to MRNS, which gave a strong bottom-bounce signal yesterday in addition to having a simply monstrous gap on the chart to fill to the upside, and positive signals abounding. The RSI has just escaped heavily-oversold territory, while the MACD has just crossed in a bullish manner.

We’ll definitely want to keep this stock on our radars as we head into the end of this short week, and possibly into next week as well, since the filling of the gap you see below would mean gains of over 100% from the current PPS.
