Blue Horseshoe Stocks: AAPL Options & More

Lumber Liquidators Holdings Inc. LL – Recap
Although LL did gap up a lot higher than expected to start the session, and larger gains would have been available at higher strike prices closer to the money, but most of our listed targets, the LL Weekly $27.50-29.50 Calls, still managed to see some solid intraday moves.

Those potential gains, including a double-bagger by the $28’s, were as follows:

$27.50 Calls – Range: 3.00-5.50 – Max Gain: 83%
$28 Calls – Range: 2.30-5.00 – Max Gain: 117%
$28.50 Calls – Range: 3.36-4.27 – Max Gain: 27%

Apple, Inc. AAPL

With AAPL breaking out to new all-time highs in the premarket this morning, after a strong earnings report was more than enough to assuage any concerns about lagging iPhone sales, we’re going to want to try to get in on the fun.

AAPL is gearing up to the point that it may also drive the DOW to the 22,000 level, causing a cascading effect that should make for an interesting week for traders across the board.

As for us, we’re going to be tracking the AAPL Weekly $155-162.50 Calls on the heels of this premarket mega-push that has thus far yielded a high of $160 on the nose.

Amarin Corp plc AMRN

We also want to take note of AMRN, which recently took a fair beating on the chart, and is showing clear signs of a reversal.

We also want to signal some calls in that options chain as well as watching the stock itself. The AMRN Weekly $4 Calls will be the options we put on our radar.

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: CRGP, Options Recaps & More

Calissio Resources Group, Inc. CRGP

First up this morning is a stock that we called in Friday’s extended watchlist The volatility in CRGP was an excellent target for flippers on Friday, with the stock coming out with a nice initial intraday run before following it up with a couple of subsequent bounces.

It began from a morning low of .0043 from which point CRGP rattled off its first swing up to the high-of-day at .0067; a nice 56% surge. After pulling back to .0045, it ran promptly back to .006 adding another 33% pop. It finished up with a dip back to .005 and 20% run-back to .006.

In total, CRGP’s session produced cumulative gains on the order of 109%, fueled by the news that the company had completed a $14.6M sale of its Mexican copper mine >> READ PR

Inotek Pharmaceutical Corp. ITEK

We tagged ITEK in Thursday’s premarket report, after noticing some FDA-related news hitting the wires, and during that session we would witness a low of 7.66 before the stock took off on an impressive tear that bled into Friday’s trading as well.

On Friday, the momentum carried the stock to a new high of 19.45, which registered as an overnight increase of 154%, so we want to send our congratulations to those of our readers who caught our report and cashed in on that impressive move!

Friday’s Winning Options Ideas

The big winners among the options ideas that we submitted in Friday morning’s report turned out to be the FB Weekly $96-50-97.50 Calls . Every one of the contracts in the range we specified turned up chances at impressive profits. Here’s a breakdown of the gains that were made possible by our timely alert.

The $96.50 Calls came out of the gate with a nice initial 108% move of from .65-1.35. That was followed up by a significant pullback to its daily low of .07 before running hard back to .58; an incredible 728% surge.

The $97 Calls produced similar action, with their first run taking them from .37-.96 (+159%), followed by a dip back to a penny before reaching back to a dime. That second move, like the previously mentioned contracts, was far more pronounced, coming in at a whopping  900%

The 97.50’s did make a move from .22-.52, an intraday gain of 136%, however they ended up too far out of the money to see a second run like the aforementioned plays. Still, their performance was nothing to sneeze at; any way you slice it, our FB Options ideas from Friday were a huge success!

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: TBIO Review & More

Transgenomic, Inc. TBIO

TBIO was included in yesterday’s morning report, and the stock recorded a notable session with the help of a favorable press release. The stock started out from an early low of 1.58, and ran 29% to 2.04, dipped back to 1.77 before going on to hit its high of day at 2.11, an added 19% swing. Volume was immense, to the tune of more than nine times the 3-month average.

The news release from yesterday was pertaining to the company’s claim that they’ve developed the most comprehensive test to date for the diagnosis of Leukodystrophy, a disorder that has been notoriously difficult to diagnose; in many cases taking years. >>VIEW PR

There are a number of attractive features of the TBIO chart even after the considerable run it has enjoyed over the past few days- The strengthening RSI just broke the 50-line, and the MACD is gearing up for a bullish cross.

We’ll look for TBIO to continue registering higher lows, preferably above the 50DMA of 1.76, and for it to test resistance in the channel between yesterday’s high of 2.11 and the 200DMA of 2.15. TBIO certainly has a history of making breakout-type moves; twice this year the stock has traded for more than 3.50.

New Options Ideas

We’ve identified a couple of fresh options ideas to pass along to our readers this morning. For each of the following movers, we’ll be on the lookout for the occurrence of a dip-and-rip scenario Both stocks are gapping up here in the premarket.

FitBit, Inc. FIT

For FIT, we are going to monitor Weekly Calls (Friday Expiration) in the $45.50-48 range. We want to pay close attention to them the next couple of sessions as FIT has been establishing higher highs and higher lows on the chart. We’re watching for a dip from profit-taking, and subsequent rebound. If and when that happens, we should see some nice action in the range we highlighted.

Netflix, Inc. NFLX

As for NFLX, which has brought us serious options trading success in the past, we’re going to look for chances in Weekly Calls priced from $100-105. The stock just underwent a forward split, and there is some precedent for price increases following such an event (e.g. AAPL).

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: Potential Bottom-Plays & More

Solaris Power Cells, Inc. SPCL

We’ve got a news play hitting our scanner this morning in SPCL, and as it turns out, the chart is looking ripe for a nice move. As we’ve pointed out on the following snapshot, the stock is trading near a relative bottom, having just registered a new 52-week low just two weeks ago.

Our regular readers are well acquainted with our history of banking excellent gains off a good rebound play. SPCL could be next in line on that front, so we’ll keep a sharp eye on it to start the week.

In addition to trading near a bottom, we’re seeing signs of a very oversold stock with a lot of room to the upside:

Frontline, Ltd. FRO

We’ve got a long history with FRO that stretches all the way back to 2012. We tagged FRO in Thursday’s premarket report, after it hit a relative bottom of 2.21 on Wednesday. Our observed low following Thursday’s alert was 2.32, and on Friday we saw as the stock inched up to a high of 2.43. We’re going to be on the lookout for further gains; the stock is gapping up slightly in early trading this morning.

An added element to the story is an opinion article that came across the wires last week pertaining to the perceived undervaluation of FRO. It points to a potential longer-term uptrend in the cards, stating that while this year’s earnings growth is expected to top last year’s by more than 200%, that hasn’t really been reflected in the share price. Marijuana Sector Update

To kick off the week, we’re turning the conversation back to both medical and legal marijuana-related stocks, a topic that we have covered extensivelyfor over a year now. Many of our old favorites have begun to show signs of promise once again, so we thought this would be a good time to bring them back into the fold as features in today’s morning report.
Medical Marijuana, Inc. MJNA

Growlife, Inc. PHOT

SK3 Group, Inc. SKTO

MediSwipe, Inc. MWIP

Hemp, Inc. HEMP

Each one of the preceding stocks (along with a great many more) has brought us several opportunities for large, or even astronomical gains, as was the case with MWIP from which we were afforded the chance at more than a 5250% profit (Coverage range: .0026-.1398)

Last week each of these began finding its way back to our watchlist as we’ve noticed increased volume, and as we’ve learned extensively in the past, volume often precedes price. Thus we are going to want to keep a close eye on these, and indeed the marijuana sector as a whole, which has yet to reach even a fraction of its full potential. Polls show that more than half of Americans now support legalization of cannabis and cannabis products, and of course we know that some states have already taken the necessary steps to make it available to their citizens.

Callaway Golf Co.  ELY

ELY appeared in Friday’s extended watchlist, then put forth a performance that merits mentioning. The stock touched a daily low of 7.82 very early in the session before enjoying a steady 14% surge up to 8.90, its highest point since 2010.

This comes on the heels of a wave of positive press last week including significantly boosted quarterly earnings:
