Blue Horseshoe Stocks: BMXI Recap & More

Brookmount Explorations Inc. BMXI

Having written our daily newsletters for such a long time, occasionally we run back across a stock that we haven’t seen in quite some time, and that was the case with BMXI. Before yesterday’s signal on it, we hadn’t mentioned it since May of 2012 back when it was regularly trading in the subpenny range.

It found its way to our radar screens and into our premarket report yesterday morning on word of a promotion (Disclosure: We were not involved in the deal), and what followed was one of the biggest breakouts the stock has ever had. From a low of .0831 it soared to a new all-time high of .1279 . That’s an intraday gain of 54% which came on enormous volume.

Delta Air Lines, Inc. DAL – Options Idea

Our regular followers know that we’re always on the lookout to take advantage of the hype-fueled moves that stocks tend to make following an earnings report, using their options chains. Delta whiffed on profits this quarter, falling well short of expectations on the Street, and despite issuing solid guidance for Q3, we want to signal a range of short-term puts to watch into the end of the week.

DAL stock was already at a top, and in a price range where profit-takers could be a factor as well. For that reason, we are going to radar the DAL Weekly $55.50-53.50 Puts.

OncBioMune Pharmaceuticals, Inc. OBMP

OBMP had an update that it issued this morning on its mid-stage cancer treatment (>>View PR), but our interest is really being drawn to this play for technical reasons.

As you can see below, the stock recently established a new annual low, followed by a rebound off of that low, and now it is making its way back down to find support. We will be interested in this as a potential rebound play in the event that the stock maintains support at or above a nickel. We’re presently looking at an impending bearish cross on the MACD so we’ll see if the stock can hang in there without losing more than a penny off of its current PPS.

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: 3 Stocks Hitting All-Time Highs

Uranium Resources, Inc. URRE

First thing this morning, we want to highlight the recent performance of URRE, which we slated for tracking in last Friday’s report. It has since made an appreciable move to the upside that is worthy of note.

We saw shares changing hands for as little as 1.62 before yesterday’s session carried the stock to a new high of 3.94, demonstrating a rise of 143% in just a few days’ time. Yesterday’s big push also came on record volume, to the tune of more than 25M shares traded.

It puts the stock in unprecedented territory in terms of momentum, so we’ll be very interested to watch the activity unfold from this point forward. We would have to surmise that a signifcant dip-and-rip could very likely take place at some point in the near future, so we’ll be looking to time that to our advantage.

OWC Pharmaceutical Research Corp. OWCP

Continuing along with our coverage of OWCP’s stellar performance this week, we have yet another new high to report this morning. We mentioned yesterday that the stock was trading at its highest prices since 2014, a fact which firmly designates OWCP as a Blue Sky Breakout play, and lo and behold, the breakout was destined to continue for yet another session.

The stock traded in a range from .26 to .41, an intraday pop of 58% which occurred on the highest volume in more than two months. The new high achieved pushed our already mind-melting observed range on the stock since our alert on September 29th, to an incredible 9011% in less than ten weeks!

Like the above-mentioned play, OWCP is now in uncharted waters, trading at its highest PPS levels of all time, and thus must be characterized as a Blue Sky Breakout, and treated as such.

PM&E, Inc. PMEA

Also coming out of yesterday’s premarket report to make quite a respectable intraday move was PMEA. This subpenny play traded in a range from .0008 to .0015 for a solid 87% move on the day.

Incidentally, it represented the third mention of the morning yesterday that would go on to set a new all-time high!

Galectin Therapeutics, Inc. GALT

Lastly, we want to radar an unfamiliar stock in GALT this morning after noticing a ripening chart setup. We have included a snapshot below pointing out the various aspects that we find attractive.

We’re going to place GALT on watch in the days and weeks ahead. A filling of the highlighted gap on the chart and return to September pricing, from current levels, would be a move of more than 100%

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: New Options Ideas & More

Options Ideas

JP Morgan Chase & Co. JPM
– The first item on our agenda this morning is going to be to formulate an options trading idea for JP Morgan on the heels of the company’s earnings beat this morning, which has the stock gapping up here in the premarket.

We’re going to be zeroing in on the JPM Weekly $63.50-65.50 Calls for potential daytrades, and/or swing trades into tomorrow, depending on how the activity unfolds.

______

Seagate Technology Holdings, Inc. STX – STX has recently been making a nice move after a large gap-up earlier this week. In the premarket it is pressing past the 200DMA(30.20) and looks as if it could continue to truck higher and fill the gap on the chart to $33.

We have a couple corresponding options ideas that could be in line for some nice gains; for daytrading opportunities this week, the STX Weekly $30-31 Calls, and the STX 07/22 $30.50-31.50 Calls for potential swing trades into next week.

Updates on Recent Interests

SAExploration Holdings, Inc. SAEXLast week, we tagged SAEX as a bottom-watch play and after a few sessions of mostly sideways trading, the stock has finally begun to get some legs this week. The bottom, and our observed low, came in at .1385, and yesterday SAEX hit .298. That works out to a four session swing of 115%

______

Gold Resource Corp. GORO –  We’ve been tracking GORO closely since we entered it into the conversation at the end of June. At the time we had observed a PPS low of 3.19, and yesterday the stock continued to push its upper limits with a new high of 5.50. That represents an overall swing of 72% and a new 52-week high as well. Firmly in blue sky breakout territory, we’ll continue to keep an eye on GORO.

______

Lot78, Inc. LOTE – After tracking it to some nice gains last week, we saw LOTE pull back slightly yesterday, to a swing low of .016 before it rebounded 37% back to .022. We’ll look for the stock to retest our previously observed high of .03, the breaching of which would put this one into blue sky breakout mode as well!
