Blue Horseshoe Stocks: LAHO Update & More

Lans Holdings, Inc. LAHO

When we brought LAHO to our readers exactly a week ago today, it was trading at .0005. After just a couple of sessions, it had registered a huge 240% move to a high of .0017. The stock then pulled back .0006 on Friday, and over another two sessions, ran back to .0014. That marks another upswing of 133% bring our four-day cumulative total to 373%

As sub-penny plays tend to do, we would expect to see LAHO continue to bounce around in this fashion. Savvy traders may yet see similar chances to profit, moving forward.

Wellness Matrix Group Inc. WMGR

WMGR is another stock that we wanted to put on our radars this morning. Regular readers of ours may recall that we occasionally include mentions of plays that are suggested to us by our followers themselves, when warranted. Such is the case with WMGR, which was brought to us by David S.

What we’ve got in WMGR is an incredibly low float stock (Just 4M shares!) that has been inching up incrementally on rising volume in recent sessions. We’re going to want to monitor in in the days and weeks ahead, as such low flot plays have the ability to make notable upswings over a relatively short time period.

NAVB & ABIO – Bottom-Bouncers

We also would like to call attention to a couple of stocks that we’ve mentioned on multiple occasions in the past, both in the biotech/pharma space. NAVB and ABIO registered as the NASDAQ’s 2nd and 4th top gainers of the day yesterday. In both cases, this followed considerable sell-offs. NAVB had been in steady decline since early April, and ABIO for the past three weeks.

We want to keep an eye on the situation on the chance that these bottom bounces were not isolated events. We’ll look for NAVB and ABIO to begin to establish higher highs and higher lows in coming sessions.

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: LAHO Recap & More

Lans Holdings, Inc. LAHO

When we picked up on LAHO on Tuesday, it was what we refer to as a super-subpenny stock, trading at a low of just .0005/share. Over the past two sessions it has made an incredible move. Yesterday, after gapping up in the morning, LAHO went on to set a new high of .0017, which works out to a 48-hour swing of 240%

Following that high, the stock came back down to fill the gap it left, and we are going to want to see .0009 hold as support in order to give us a good likelihood of seeing further moves from LAHO in the near-term, but as it currently stands, it has already been a great intraweek play for us no matter how you slice it.

FRESH OPTIONS IDEAS

We’ve also got a pair of options ideas from companies that have untraded-upon earnings reports. We’re bearish on Palo Alto Networks, which reported yesterday post-market, and bullish on Dollar General, whose report dropped this morning in the premarket, including a solid beat on both earnings and same-store sales for the quarter.

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: PIRS Review & More

Pieris Pharmaceuticals Inc. PIRS – Review

Of all the types of plays we search for, bottom watch plays can require the most amount of patience as compared to other quick-strike ideas that we formulate. We highlighted PIRS as such back in mid-February, and over the past quarter, the stock has produced some very favorable results in two distinct runs.

When we initially signaled our interest in this stock, or shortly thereafter, it was trading for as little as 2.83 and over the course of the next two months, it gradually made its way to 4.00 (+41%). After a pullback down near its original level at 2.81 halfway through last month, the stock has begun to run once again. This time it has reached all new highs, with the stock changing hands for as much as 4.68/share on Friday. That second push allowed us to see an overall increase of 67%

We wouldn’t be at all surprised to have to come back to PIRS once again in the near future. In addition to the company’s joint clinical venture with pharma super giant AstraZeneca, the stock itself has recently received analyst upgrades that could just be the beginning of PIRS’s next leg-up.

Xalles Holdings, Inc. XALL

We are also looking at the incredible momentum recently built up by XALL, which has been assisted by the resurgence of Bitcoin here in 2019, which began in January in the mid-$3000 range, and has persisted to the present time to the current highs near $8700.

The company also recently decreased its public float by around 50%, making it that much easier for the stock to move. We’ll be interested to continue to monitor its progress, especially if the latest Bitcoin boom continues to persist as it has in recent months.
