Blue Horseshoe Stocks: APP, Social Media Updates & More

American Apparel, Inc. APP

As tends to happen each year, we’ve honed back in on APP at an opportune time. After seeing a low of .51 as recently as June 24th, this past Thursday saw this stock push past the dollar-mark. After another solid session on Friday wherein the stock reached as high as a 1.20, it appears as if APP wants to gap up once again this morning, touching 1.27 in pre-market trading. At that price, we’ve seen an overall move of 149% from this play in just three weeks.

There’s a chance that we could see a slight consolidation to fill the gap on the chart left on Friday (1.05-1.08) in which case we’d need to see APP hold support at or above the 1.05-mark. The chart still appears ripe, however, so it will interesting to see how this play kicks off a new trading week.

Twitter, Inc. TWTR
& Facebook, Inc. FB

Social media giants TWTR and FB began to heat up last week, as anticipation of upcoming earning releases has ramped up, and both stocks seem to be gapping up in early trading this morning. We’ve done very well for ourselves trading options contracts on each of these plays, and will be looking for more of the same as these current uptrends play out.

As far as TWTR is concerned, the next key resistance is sitting at 42.50, and our current scope of interest in Call options rests in the $39-$41 range. Should TWTR gain further ground as trading opens up for the week, those contracts could see an appreciable rise in value in just a short time. (Earnings Release Date: 07/29)

FB’s key area of resistance is around 68.50, and we’re interested in Calls at the $67-69 level. FB earnings will come sooner that TWTR’s by almost a week, with the announcement just 9 days away, so we’ll really want to keep a close eye on the action here. (Earnings Release Date: 07/23)

Solar Wind Energy Tower, Inc. SWET

SWET first appeared in our reports on June 13th, at which time we designated it a stock that was due for a pop, and that’s exactly what we got out of it. The stock rushed upward from our observed low of .0185 to hit .032 (+73%) a week ago. After a slight consolidation and finding of support at .0226, the stock has begun to inch up toward the .03-mark once again. To get there, we’ll need to see a break of resistance at Friday’s swing high of .0291.

This morning’s news could be of help, with the announcement of up to $100M in additional funding hitting press wires:

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: CNAT, Options Ideas & Extended Watchlist

Conatus Pharmaceuticals, Inc. CNAT

CNAT is a stock that we first discovered as an FDA play back in early December, when one of the company’s treatments had been granted orphan drug status.  At the time, the stock was trading at less than $5 a share, and by January, we saw a huge run that took it over $14.

It brought a few other swings in the following months, but had fallen to the back burner for quite some time as it consolidated. Yesterday it set off our alarms once again, springing back to life and running hard on heavy volume, so once again CNAT has our full attention.

After reaching as high as 9.90 during yesterday’s session, we’ll be on the lookout for possible dip-and-rip opportunities. We’d like to see support hold in the 8-8.50 range moving forward and if it can do that, chances to score quick strike gains on the bounce could be present.

Petroleo Brasiliero S.A. (Petrobras) PBR – Options

The PBR options chain has been a veritable cash cow for us this year as many of you already know, and we’ll continue to talk about it for as long as it continues to work in our favor. Yesterday was no letdown, as

All of the Call contracts that we’ve been monitoring ($14-15 Weekly Calls and the 07/19 $15 Calls) have been rocking, providing us with several shots at alarmingly high returns.

If PBR breaks over this morning’s pre-market high of 15.90, we may look to roll our strike price up to $16 (Possibly the 07/03 $16’s which closed @ .36 yesterday) and with how far the latest trend has taken us, we wouldn’t be too surprised to see that happen.

Extra Options Idea: Molson Coors Brewing Co. TAP

The TAP October $75 Calls showed an abnormal amount of trading activity yesterday, causing us to raise an eyebrow. Just for good measure, we’re going to throw those contracts up on our radar and monitor the situation.

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: PBR, ACHN, TMSH & More

Petroleo Brasiliero S.A. (Petrobras) PBR

We’ll kick things off this morning with PBR once again, as the stock had another banner day and behaved very much like we suggested it might. Yesterday we mentioned that the PBR chart was looking ripe for further northward movement and that’s just what we got.

The stock itself broke back over $15, which led to some prime opportunities in each and every set of options contracts that we outlined in our morning report. We said we’d be looking at Weekly Calls from $14-$15 for quick-flip intraday opportunities, and they all offered up some serious gains.

The $14 Calls traded from .74 to as high as 1.09, a chance for traders to score up to 47% in profits. The $14.50’s made a nice move up from .34 to .75, good for a nice double-bagger and more at +120% The $15’s fared extremely well also, running a whopping 290% from .11 up to .43.

Even our contracts of longer-term interest, the 07/19 $15 Calls (which we caught at a low of .25) made a solid intraday move from .54-.84, a highly respectable 55% increase.

All in all, for options traders, PBR was a paradise on Monday, and we’ll be continuously monitoring the situation as the week progresses. Major areas of resistance appear on the chart at 15.50 and 15.85, so failure to pierce through that channel would certainly be a signal to us to take profits off of the table. In order to keep our interest levels high, PBR will need to maintain support above the 15-dollar mark.

Achillion Pharmaceuticals, Inc. ACHN

Appearing in yesterday’s extended watchlist, ACHN was another play with potential to start off a new week. After a significant morning gap-up, the stock would touch a low of 3.72 before running as high as 4.82, an intraday move of 30%

This morning the company came with a well-timed release concerning its Hep-C drug, and the stock continues to blow its top. The high this morning in premarket trading is 6.47, making ACHN one that we’ll definitely be interested to follow. Per this morning’s PR, there’s a timeline for the testing of this drug leading all the way up to the end of the year, so we’ll stick ACHN on our longer-term radar as well.

TransGlobal Assets, Inc. TMSH

We’ve been following TMSH since last week, and have not been disappointed. The stock has played out a textbook dip-and-rip scenario for the last three sessions straight, offering up many opportunities to make gains.

Yesterday, it came down as low as .0079 before ripping its way up to .0128, a healthy intraday increase of 62% Provided it continues to trade in this manner, we’ll be looking to take advantage of any similar swings to the ones we’ve seen already. We want to see it make higher lows, and break through the channel of resistance between the previous two sessions’ swing highs (.0128-.0139).

Side Note:

Even with so much else to talk about today, we can’t forget about another cash cow in Apple. AAPL Calls have been providing us with some excellent opportunities in recent weeks as well, and we’re still highly attuned to that situation as well.

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: Updates on ACGX & Others, Bottom-Bounce Watchlist

Alliance Creative Group, Inc. ACGX

Our first order of business as we wrap up this short trading week is to congratulate everyone who caught our special alert of ACGX yesterday! An enormous pat on the back is due for folks who caught it at its daily low of .0055, because it wasn’t long before it embarked on a huge run that lasted all day, as the stock took on a life of its own.

Not only did ACGX very nearly crack into the top ten on the OTC Markets most-traded list (11th Most Active), but it surged into Pennyland, breaking out to a high of .0105 on the day; that was good for an intraday move of 91%

Adding to the excitement was the fact that this occurred on well over 5x the 3-month average volume. In fact, it was the second-highest trading volume in the history of the stock, so we are calling our coverage of this play yesterday a rousing success.

It’s easy to get lost in the short-term brilliance of this stock, but remember, we’re interested in ACGX on a longer-term basis as well. If you didn’t catch yesterday’s report, and missed out on the big gains, we don’t think it will be your last chance. This is a steady-growth, revenue producing outfit that we feel has an extremely bright future. If you didn’t read yesterday’s ACGX Report, please do so now; it will be a good place to start your due diligence on this gem.

That being said, The near-term fireworks may not yet be over. The amount of momentum flowing through ACGX yesterday was awe-inspiring, and the stock held the majority of its stellar gain overnight. Caution should be exercised in situations like these, but an accurate play on the trends from this point forward could still make for notable profit-taking opportunities.

Rest assured that we will keep everyone abreast of further happenings with ACGX, and again, cheers to anyone who was already able to pad their pockets by way of our perfectly-timed alert!

It also enabled us to claim the top spot on yesterday’s Penny Stock Rumble:

ACGX is still receiving an 100% Overall “Buy Rating” over at BARCHART.COM

With ACGX requiring our undivided attention yesterday, we were unable to include updates for our members on the impressive performances of some of our other recent interests, so let’s look at those now:

Wave Systems Corp. WAVX

Appearing as a feature in Tuesday’s report, WAVX really made waves as it came out of the gate, touching 1.18 in the early morning, before taking off on a run that would propel the stock as high as 1.97.

Total gains of up to 67% were possible with WAVX in what was an extremely liquid session; WAVX traded 22.48M shares on the day Tuesday, an all-time record.

AV1 Group, Inc. AVOP

Tracking back just a bit further, we find AVOP, which last appeared in Friday’s newsletter. We were patting ourselves on the back for calling attention to the stock the previous Tuesday, which had allowed us to see a 200% run from .0006 to .0018.

AVOP would come down to find support in the .001-.0013 range, where it traded in a tight channel leading up to yesterday’s session. Another run ensued, and we saw a new high of .0023. That means we saw an overall move of 283% from AVOP in just over a week! Gains of up to 91% were possible during yesterday’s session alone; we salute anyone who was able to take advantage!

When we brought this pot play to the table last week, it was in the midst of a general pullback throughout the cannabis sector. AVOP did buck the trend, although we are seeing a bounceback for many of the other marijuana-related stocks that we’ve been tracking.

A big development in the sector came a few days back, when Walmart announced that it would begin selling marijuana in Colorado (and Washington, when legal sales begin there this summer). Review the article here.

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: Marijuana Sector Updates & More

Updates on Monday’s Picks
We kicked off another strong week yesterday, with most of the stocks we mentioned in our morning report posting notable gains, and several achieving new highs.

Kandi Technologies, Inc. KNDI

KNDI put up a modest 16% intraday increase, trading from a low of 19.01, and reaching a new high of 22.11. That figure is especially impressive when you consider the fact that we picked up on this play for the first time back in July of last year when it was trading in the low 4.40’s.

From those levels, the stock has risen an impressive 400% in roughly 8 months.

Growlife, Inc. PHOT

PHOT behaved predictably after we inserted it into yesterday’s report on the heels of a morning PR  regarding a joint venture with VAPE.

The stock opened at .625 and continually pushed the envelope all day, closing at its high of day, and a new overall high of .777. That was good for a 24% intraday gain, and from our original alert low of .0318 from August of last year, yesterday’s new high represents an overall move of 2343%

It is a level of increase that we have become accustomed to seeing in the vastly popular marijuana sector.

Triton Distribution Systems, Inc. TTDZ

For those of you who’ve been with us since at least January, you will recall our original alert of TTDZ on the 30th, at which time the stock was trading hands at .0012.

Yesterday, TTDZ became the third play on our list to bull its way to a new high, running from a daily low of a penny, up to .0167. That marked a 67% intraday rip, and an overall appreciation of 1292%

As we just stated, stocks in any way involved in the burgeoning cannabis industry have allowed us to see four-digit gains with some regularity.

Cannabusiness Group, Inc. CBGI

Speaking of such stocks, another pot play that we’ve been tracking recently, CBGI, also had another landmark session on Monday.

As the week kicked off, the stock commenced a bull rush that took it to new highs as well, running in a wide range from .205 in the morning, to .455 by mid-afternoon, a 122% intraday spike.

Of course the new high requires us to once again calculate the total move since we mentioned the stock for the first time on March 3rd. Yet another four-digit romp, coming in at a whopping 1317%

ML Captial Group, Inc. MLCG

MLCG is another cannabis play that we added to our radar on March 7th, that announced this morning, its continued expansion into the sector with an update on the launch-status of its own line of cannabis vaporizing pens.

FOUNTAIN HILLS, AZ–(Marketwired – Mar 18, 2014) – ML Capital Group, Inc. (OTCQB: MLCG) (OTCBB: MLCG) announces its continued expansion in the medical marijuana industry and the extension of its SuperStar brand. >>FULL PR

Magnegas Corporation MNGA

MNGA appeared in yesterday’s Extended Watchlist, and had one heck of a session as well. On more than 18.5X its 3-month average volume, the stock ran from 1.15-1.56, an intraday move 36%

The stock appears to be gapping up this morning (Currently trading in the 1.70’s) possibly en route to further gains.
