Blue Horseshoe Stocks: COP Options Idea

ConocoPhillips COP – Options Idea

We’re running a little light this morning as we pick up for a new trading week, with no interesting earnings plays to fall back on. However, in our morning scan, we’ve picked up on an interesting play with energy giant ConocoPhillips.

The stock has been in a bullish pattern for most of the month so far, and this morning, we’re seeing a lot of oil plays bucking the trend of the overall markets, which appear to be bearish at the moment. We’re going to place a range of weekly options on watch this morning to coincide with the activity that’s currently unfolding.

Our targets of interest are going to be the COP Weekly $61-62.50 Calls.

Options Updates:

We’re going to start out this morning by going over some recent extended term options ideas we’ve had and the success they’re enjoying after Friday’s market rebound from Wednesday’s big dip. We are also seeing the makings of a continuation of Friday’s momentum today, so we expect to see the gains listed on our ideas to below to be expanded with another bullish session.

Agilent technologies, Inc. A – Our timing with Agilent couldn’t have been much better, citing the A 9/20 $65-70 Calls as our area of interest on Wednesday. The recovery that would follow for stocks in general would  help push those targets to some extremely solid intraweek runs.

$67.50 Calls – Range: 2.30-4.48  – Max Gain: 95%

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: Friday Wrap-Up

Wrapping Up a Solid Week

Once again, we’ll turn in our cards for the week with multiple multi-bag winners. Our quick-strike options ideas are second to none. We’d invite anyone who disputes that to point us to a better options newsletter!

We’ve been running with FDX and MU since Wednesday morning’s premarket report. We had already seen gains in the 500% range on FDX and the 100-200% range on MU that day.

We continued to monitor the FDX calls, as well as roll up to a higher strike price on MU for yesterday’s session. Once again we met with great success. So, first thing this morning, we want to take a look at the updated figures of the total possible gains on these plays.

FedEx Corp. FDX
–  Weekly $157.50-160 Calls.

$157.50 Calls – Range: .59-6.60 – Max Gain: 1017%
$160 Calls – Range: .35-4.40 – Max Gain: 1157%
_____

Micron Technology, Inc. MU –  Weekly $37 Calls.

$37 Calls – Range: .31-1.39 – Max Gain: 348%

We’re going to roll up on MU once again to stay close to the action, and will be tracking the $38-38.50 Calls as we close out out another great week for options trading. Just remember, never trade options with a weekly expiration on Friday unless you’re an expert level trader with access to disposable funds!

J.Jill, Inc. JILL

We also wanted to provide a quick update on a stock we tagged for observation a couple of weeks back on the 12th. JILL had been building a solid base and moving up slowly since then, up until yesterday when it really kicked things into another gear.

We observed a low of 1.54 subsequent to our initial alert, and yesterday’s new high came in at 2.29, marking an upswing of 49%

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: SPY Update

SPDR S&P500 ETF (SPY) – Update

Our fresh options idea to kick off the new trading week yesterday utilizing the SPY started off on a good foot. It’s something we always come back to because of the predictable way it behaves and trades.

We designated the SPY 06/19 $289-290.50 Calls as our contracts of interest, and the markets’ activity played into our hands nicely, for a start. Here were the gains that were made possible on the day yesterday:

$289 Calls – Range: 1.50-2.00 – Max Gain: 33%
$289.50 Calls – Range: 1.24-1.73 – Max Gain: 40%
$290 Calls – Range: 1.00-1.45 – Max Gain: 45%
$290.50 Calls – Range: .80-1.15 – Max Gain: 196%

The SPY is gapping up once again today, and we expect all of these calls to open deep in the money and see new highs. We’re going to continue to monitor these, but also look to roll up and include the $291 and $291.50’s in our watchlist as well.

Robert Half International, Inc. RHI

We’ve got another fresh idea based on the technical setup of the RHI chart, which has been trending up off a double bottom. We see some decent volatility potential, and a topside gap to fill on the chart. This is going to be a longer term idea, which could ultimately turn into a solid recovery play.

We are going to place the RHI 09/20 $55-65 Calls on watch for the weeks and months ahead. RHI most likely wouldn’t even have to fill that gap for us to see results. A run at the 200DMA or even 50DMA would likely produce significant gains in those contracts.

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: Mid-Week Updates

Lans Holdings, Inc. LAHO

Over the years we have evolved as the markets have, always trying to find the quickest ways to find the largest gain opportunities possible. On occasion, we do take a break from the big boards and options trading that have become our bread and butter, and go back to our subpenny roots on the OTC. Yesterday, we picked up on LAHO as the company released some fresh news and we witnessed quite an intraday run from the stock.

LAHO traded up from a low of .0005 and hit .0009, for a move of 80% and in some premarket activity this morning, we’ve seen trades go off at .0011, which marks a 24-hour swing of 120% We’ll continue to watch to see if this play can keep the momentum going.

Xalles Holdings, Inc. XALL

We also took a look at XALL in yesterday’s newsletter, another microcap that has been building a head of steam recently. This crypto play has been riding the wave of Bitcoin’s resurgence in a big way, and kept that going for us in yesterday’s session.

XALL traded in a range from .015 up to .021 for a respectable intraday push of 40% out of this stock, whose public float was recently halved. We’ll keep monitoring this one as well.
