GFS Calls Post 1100% Gainer, Fresh Plays

Options Review:

Things took an unexpected turn for the markets yesterday, with all premarket signs pointing to a lackluster day, but the session itself turning out to be generally bullish. The result was an added push for the bullish play on our radar, while the bearish ones fell by the wayside.

We’ll recap the daily performance of those YOU Weekly $30 Calls, and we also want to include a couple of updates on two sets of longer-term plays that we added into the mix last Tuesday. On the morning of the 8th, we signaled interest in the GFS 08/19 $60-65 Calls, and the XOM 09/02 $95-96 Calls

We absolutely crushed it with our earnings plays once again yesterday, signaling a trio of related options ideas in our premarket report. Despite a mixed, yet primarily down day for the markets, the volatility provided by these companies’ earnings drops powered some significant positive intraday movement.

We were targeting the LULU Weekly $360-370 Calls, the MU Weekly $82-85 Calls, and the BNTX Weekly $182.50-187.50 Calls, and of course they all produced solid opportunities for us. NKLA Explodes!

Nikola Corp. NKLA – HUGE Gainer

To start off the week yesterday morning, we entered into an idea for NKLA, a stock which had been on a steady rise for about the last month. Thanks to another ripper of a day for the markets in general, NKLA gained more ground just during yesterday’s session than the entire month-long run that preceded it.

It was an absolutely massive run from 40.42-73.70. That’s an 82% intraday boom, which for a forty-dollar stock is simply incredible. The party is not over yet, either. Here in the premarket this morning, NKLA has attained another new high of 97.41, stretching our 24-hour observed gain on the stock alone, to 141%

We had also highlighted a couple of strike-points in the options chain, and the gains there were absolutely ridiculous as well, not to mention the fact that we expect them to open far higher this morning, based on the premarket activity. All around this has been one of the most exiting plays of the year so far for us.

iGen Networks Corp. IGEN – Additionally, we had included IGEN in our watchlist on Wednesday morning, and this subpenny OTC play has also put up quite a performance. It has run from a low of .0022, and yesterday reached .0083, which marks a total gain of 277%

We’re always scanning for a good rebound candidate, and that’s what we found in TTOO this morning. The stock is sniffing out a bottom, and has just fallen off of an absolute cliff. Now with a massive gap to the upside and considerable volatility potential, we’re going to begin monitoring it for its ultimate bottom and eventual recovery.

TTOO is egregiously oversold, sitting at an annual low, and could be just days away from a convincing turnaround. We’ll keep our eyes peeled for just such an event.
