Recent Successes, New Ideas

Virgin Galactic Holdings, Inc. SPCE – Review

To kick things off this week, we are first going to highlight the fantastic performance of the options targets we selected in the Virgin Galactic chain in Thursday morning’s premarket report. We signaled the SPCE Weekly $18-19 Calls, and while we had already witnessed multibag runs, all three sets in our designated range pushed the envelope on Friday.

The following ranges are two-session gains from Thuirsday’s low to their new Friday highs, and the total possible profits that were on the table over that span:

SPCE Weekly $18-19 Calls
$18: 1.28-6.55 (+412%)
$18.50: .86-5.95 (+592%)
$19: .62-5.64 (+809%)

We had also added the SPCE Weekly $22-22.50 Calls to our watchlist on Friday morning, and those plays also produced significant gain opportunities on the day, which were as follows:

SPCE Weekly $22-22.50 Calls
$22: .66-2.75 (+317%)
$22.50: .52-2.25 (+333%)

Novavax, Inc. NVAX

It was less than two weeks ago on the morning of the 8th, that we highlighted our coverage of NVAX beginning in May, and lauded the highs that the stock had reached in that time. The stock had run from our observed low in May of 36.08 to an impressive 111.77 (+210%).

Following another week of solid sessions, one after the other, NVAX has now reached an incredible new high of 144.54. That works out to an increase of 301% in a shade over two months! Even those who had only caught our update on July 8th, could have caught NVAX as low as 93.48. From that point, Friday high comes to an upswing of 47%

Vystar, Inc. VYST

VYST is an OTC stock we caught for some really nice gains in the spring and recently tagged again in our report on July 9th. Shortly thereafter we watched as VYST ran from .0178 to a new high of .044 on Friday. That’s a gain of 147%

Like many OTC plays we’ve recently been attracted to, this one has made multiple distinct and noteworthy moves.

More Options Winners

All things considered, things shaped up pretty good for us this week on the options trading front. We had potential gains to report each and every day, and today is no exception. Yesterday morning’s fresh ideas in LLY and ORLY played very nicely in the wake of each company’s quarterly earnings drop.

LLY was the big score, however the ORLY was a longer-term idea with almost a month until expiration, so we may yet see some bigger moves from those in the weeks to come.

LLY Weekly $155-160 Calls

$155: 2.81-7.50 (+158%)
$157.50: .81-5.16 (+297%)

APRN Blows its Lid & More

Blue Apron Holdings Inc. APRN

We provided readers with a set of stocks that we felt were uniquely built to weather the coronavirus storm in yesterday morning’s premarket report. APRN had already begun to rise a little bit prior to that, but yesterday’s huge session really sent it for a ride.

The stock registered as the number three top gainer on the NASDAQ for its performance, which saw it trade up from a low 8.70 and hit 19.49, which represents an intraday rise of 124%. As of this morning’s premarket trading, APRN has now hit 24.50, extending our total observed range in 24 hours to 182%

With people being urged to stay home as much as possible, and perhaps with a mandatory nationwide quarantine on the way, we would expect Blue Apron’s order volume to stay at what we can only imagine are all time highs. As far as how high the stock could run, that’s anyone’s guess, but we’ll be tracking it closely to find out.

Decision Diagnostics Corp. DECN

Certain stocks on the OTC have also been enjoying solid performances in relation to the coronavirus.  The company believes that its GenViro! COVID-19 “Rapid” Kit will be in high demand after the release of new FDA guidance allowing for near immediate distribution of kits with minimal red tape.

We had placed the stock in our extended watchlist in yesterday morning’s report, and were met with a very respectable intraday move from .118-.198, which works out to a gain of 68%
