Blue Horseshoe Stocks: PBR Options & Extended Watchlist

We will not be releasing the momentum play we hinted at yesterday, as we ultimately deemed conditions on the chart to be inadequate at this time. We don’t want to bring you anything that doesn’t give our readers a good chance to make quick profits, so we’ll hold on to this play until next week when the chart setup should be more to our liking. For now, we’ll just stick with what has been working:

Petroleo Brasiliero S.A. (Petrobras) PBR – Options

As we were stating yesterday, PBR has become one of our go-to plays in 2014, as its recovery from lows we observed in March (11.25) has been highly impressive. This morning in pre-market trading, we’ve seen shares change hands for 15.85.

Of course, its the options chain that has really been holding our attention, becoming a virtual wellspring of rapid-strike opportunities that has served us well time and time again in recent months.

We remain interested in the $14-15.50 Calls we were tracking yesterday, and if PBR can punch through this morning’s pre-market swing high (15.85) and sustain its upward momentum, we may even consider pushing up our strike price to the $16 Calls (Expiration 05/17).

Extended Watchlist:
CHTP, JASO, PME, ENG

PSID, DEWM, TTDZ & Extended Watchlist

Positive ID Corp. PSID

The timing of our alert on PSID yesterday turned out to be fortunate, as the stock reversed its recent trend and underwent a bounce just as we had suggested it might. After gapping up slightly from last Friday’s close at .06, it traded from .062 up to .075, a 21% intraday move. We saw higher lows and higher highs, which included a breach of the seven-cent resistance point we mentioned yesterday, and closed up 13% on the day having traded roughly 30% more volume than its 3-month average.

We’ll be looking for PSID to do as it did yesterday, making higher lows and higher highs, which would confirm that yesterday’s rebound was not an isolated event.

Check out the following video chart of PSID:

Dewmar International BMC, Inc. DEWM

We mentioned DEWM for the first time on February 10th, and on that day, observed a low of .0036. We couldn’t be much more pleased with what the stock has done since then, making higher lows and higher highs every single day. At yesterday’s high of .029, we were looking at possible gains of 705% from the low we witnessed just six sessions ago!

Big congratulations are in order for anyone who was able to take advantage of this awesome run by DEWM. We’re going to continue to follow the stock up while on the lookout for any signs of a pullback, which will eventually lead to what we feel could be some impressive rebound action.

Triton Distribution Systems, Inc. TTDZ

TTDZ first appeared on our radar on January 30th after we noticed a share reduction from 1.5B to 1.2B. Around that time the company was working to clear up an issue regarding its reporting status on OTC Markets, and has now attained Current Status once again. We’ve seen this stock come from a low of .0012 and run to .0049 (02/07). It followed that move with a consolidation down to .0021 (02/14), and yesterday found its way back to a high of .0049, where it closed.

Combining the two major runs we’ve seen from TTDZ in the 6 weeks we’ve been watching it, brings us to cumulative gains amounting to 441%

Extended Watchlist:
CHTP, LTBR, HL, SYN, OCLS, USU

CHTP, TSLA, CANN & Extended Watchlist

Chelsea Therapeutics International, Inc. CHTP

This is a bio-pharma play that we’ve mentioned in the past, which has been undergoing some interesting activity. The stock recently fell off of a cliff, coming down from nearly 4.50 at the end of 2013, to find a bottom in the high 2.20’s on Monday. It was halted for yesterday’s session over the release of an FDA-approval related PR (below), and has resumed trading pre-market this morning, already up over 150%.  It will be exciting to see how the pattern unfolds today. Rest assured, we will be laying in wait for what appears to be potential breakout conditions.

Tesla Motors, Inc. TSLA – Options Ideas

It’s been awhile since we delivered any options-trading ideas, and have noticed some potential with TSLA. The stock was on the move yesterday, punching over the $160-mark. We want to radar the $165 & $170 Weekly Calls (Expiring 01/18) for possible intraday flip opportunities.

For instance- The 170 Calls closed at 1.17 yesterday, and will most likely gap up this morning, to the tune of 100%. If we were to see a move to $180 out of TSLA, those contracts could potentially approach the $10-mark

Advanced Cannabis Solutions, Inc. CANN

CANN was among a group of pot stocks that we added to our tracking list last week, and even as some of the other marijuana plays have been searching out a bottom, this one has managed to sustain its uptrend. We mentioned that it was on the rebound yesterday morning, and from its open at 8.00, the stock managed to close at 10.40. That marks a single-session move of 30%
