BLRX, LSI, FREE & Extended Watchlist

BioLineRx, Ltd. BLRX

BLRX popped our scanner this morning, and we thought we’d pass it along as it appears to be one of this morning’s most active in pre-market trading. The stock is gapping up on the heels of an early-morning press release.

It has been filling a large gap on the chart for the past several months, and we wanted to radar the stock this morning as a total fill back to levels observed this past Spring could mean significant gains from current levels.

JERUSALEM, Dec. 16, 2013 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ — BioLineRx (NASDAQ: BLRX; TASE: BLRX), a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company dedicated to identifying, in-licensing and developing promising therapeutic candidates, announced today promising initial results for its BL-8040 drug candidate in a Phase 2 clinical trial for patients with relapsed or refractory acute myeloid leukemia (AML). >>>Read Full PR

LSI Corp. LSI

Another stock to turn up on our morning scan is LSI. We are witnessing a heavy gap-up as the stock is currently trading up roughly 40% in pre-market trading.

At current levels in the 11.00-range, LSI qualifies for Bluesky Breakout status, so this is definitely one we want to monitor as we begin this new trading week.

FreeSeas, Inc. FREE

We are re-alerting FREE this morning. Some of you may recall back in September, when we rode this play from less than a dollar, all the way up to mid-4.00 range. The stock has generally consolidated since that time, and is now coming off of its bottom.

Chart indicators point to potentially large gains in the near future, with the MACD having just undergone a bullish cross, and the RSI sharply rising, preparing challenge the 50-line.

After yielding us gains of more than 400% the first time, we are eager to see what the current trend could produce.

BRND | Momentum Play & Extended Watchlist

Premier Brands, Inc. BRND

We are taking a look at BRND this morning, following yesterday’s revelation that the company would be tied to former basketball star Dennis Rodman via a new brand of vodka that the athlete began tweeting about yesterday following market close.

The secret was already out in a PR released by the company yesterday morning, and a feeding frenzy to acquire the stock ensued, sending the price from a low of .0014 to .0039 where it closed with strength, just one tick below the .004 high-of-day.

Rodman’s vocal Twitter outreach is likely to attract an even wider audience than the company’s press release, so we want to watch BRND closely today for a possible continuation of the momentum that began building yesterday.

Here are few articles on the new vodka from various large outlets as they began picking up the story:

CLNO, STWG, & Extended Watchlist

Cleantech Transit, Inc. CLNO

At the time of our most recent alert (Jun.14th) we were marveling at the stock’s run from our first ever alert at .0055, to the high at the time, of .09. At that point we had already acheived gains of more than 1500% off of CLNO. But the stock wasn’t done yet. On Friday it reached a high of .148, adding a chance for another 64%

From the original alert price at .0055 (Called in March), Friday’s high represents an astonishing move of 2590% in just over three months.

We prepared a video presentation of the current CLNO chart:

S2C Global Systems, Inc. STWG

STWG has been consolidating recently after hitting a two-cent, 52-week high on June 10th. Over the past five sessions, the stock has been maintaining support at .008, just above a previous resistance level at .0076.

The last time we mentioned STWG, we stated that the company was working toward going current on OTCMarkets.com, and that we expected to see that happen soon. STWG has in fact managed to bring itself up to speed just as we anticipated.

We prepared a video chart for this one as well:

Side Note:

The volatility in the market since the Fed made its statement in reference to rising interest rate, and the tapering of quantitative easing has been substantial. Whenever we see conditions like these, it makes for some very nice options-trading opportunities.

In Friday’s morning report, we stated that we wanted to keep an eye on SPY Puts, and VIX/VXX Calls. As the Level 2 images below indicate, the $159 SPY Puts went from a low of .31 up to a high of 1.65. As for the $22 VXX Call, it traded from .16 to .81. Both of these chances for gains came before noon.
