Blue Horseshoe Stocks: Multiple Mid-Week Winners & More

Multiple Mid-Week Winners

Yesterday’s premarket report was chock-full of prime opportunities to strike it big with some fantastic intraday gains. Here they are in descending order of magnitude:

Diana Containerships, Inc. DCIX – Like DRYS, which we were tracking on such a monumental run that it got halted, DCIX is another play in the shipping sector, which has been the post-election hot ticket. After we tagged it in yesterday’s report, DCIX managed a hearty run from 8.27 to as high as 26.17, an intraday burst amounting to 216%
_____

Sino-Global Shipping America, Ltd. SINO – Tally up yet another shipper that we caught just in time to benefit from the rush on the sector. SINO was another inclusion in our Monday watchlist, and it too has produced a multi-bag surge. The stock traded in a range from 3.45 to 7.86 yesterday, allowing for up to 128% in single-session profits. From our observed low of 1.44 on Monday, it marked a three-day uptrend of 446%
_____

Bulova Technologies Group, Inc. BTGI – We also had a pair of subpenny plays put up solid numbers on the day yesterday. We tagged BTGI on Tuesday, observed a modest run on massive volume, and reiterated as much in yesterday’s report. The trend continued, as the stock ran from  .0036-.0059 (+64%) on over 5X its 30-day average volume. From our observed low of .00275 on Tuesday, it went down as an overall two-day swing of 115%
_____

SpectraScience, Inc. SCIE – Rounding out our list of nice gainers from yesterday is SCIE. The stock traded in a comparatively subdued, yet quite notable range from .0019-.003. That was good for gains of up to 58%

Added Notes:

Options Reminder – We also want to remind our readers of our successful hunch that Bank of America would be a good short yesterday. We saw modest gains in our target contracts, BAC Weekly $20.50-19.50 Puts, and will continue to track the added gains that are sure to be caused from another gap-down here in the premarket, and possible continued backslide today. We’ll provide an update on the activity and our total possible gains in tomorrow’s premarket report.

Shipping Watchlist – Granted the excellent activity in the shipping sector that we’ve been mentioning, we thought it would be a good idea to include a handful of other plays in the space to watch in addition the ones we’ve already mentioned this week: RLOG, GSL, CHNR, NMM, OSG, NAO.

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: DRYS Historic Run & More

Dry Ships, Inc. DRYS – Update

We thought DRYS was a prime play on Monday morning when we included the stock in our watchlist, and even after seeing an incredible gain of 215% that first day and reiterating our interest yesterday morning, nothing could have prepared us for the epic run-up that has followed.

The chances of ever catching a stock in the $13-range and watching it surge to over $100 in a matter of two sessions are razor thin to say the least, but the fantastic performance of DRYS (and indeed, the shipping sector as a whole) this week has delivered it right to our doorstep.

Yesterday the stock extended its gains by trading in a range from 45.47 to 102.00, marking an intraday boost of 124% and an overall two-session jump amounting to 650% over Monday’s low of 13.60! Here we are for a third straight day, watching the stock gear up with strength in the premarket, indicating that even more gains could be on the immediate horizon.

We’ll also be in line to catch the eventual dip-and-rip that’s likely to occur when this historic run finally does peter out, and based on the volatility we’ve witnessed thus far, it stands to be quite significant when it does come to pass.

Subpenny Movers

Staying true to our modus operandi, which dictates that we spread our focus between big boards and penny stocks alike, we had a number of subpenny interests yesterday as well, and those also saw some nice moves.

Anchorage International Holdings Corp. AHCP –  This play started out as a subpenny in the morning, and finished it out in Pennyland, cracking the penny barrier as it ran from .006-.015 on the day. That works out to a single-session move of 150% on just over eight times the monthly average volume.

____

Bulova Technologies Group, Inc. BTGI – A modest yet notable swing was recorded by BTGI, as the stock ran from .00275 to .0038. That went down as a 38% pop, and came on absolutely massive volume, to the tune of more than 28X the monthly average.

____

ViaDerma, Inc. VDRM – Chatroom Call

Rounding out our subpenny package yesterday was a call that we made available in our daily traders chat. VDRM was as low as .0031 after we caught the news that it was getting into the marijuana space, and it ended up rallying all day to close at its high of .0073 (+135%).

We are always keeping our eyes and ears open for anything that could turn into the next big runner and we relay that information to our loyal followers anytime anything special comes across our trading desk after our premarket newsletters are published. Fresh Options Ideas

TGT had an earnings beat this morning, and BAC is down in the premarket after topping out yesterday on the heels of a vigorous run-up. We’ll go bullish on the former, and and bearish in the latter, in an attempt to leverage the current activity in our favor.

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: Important Announcement

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT

Before we get down to our interests for today’s session, we wanted to give our readers a quick heads-up for Monday morning.

We’ll be presenting a special in-depth report on an intriguing cannabis stock with a diverse portfolio and an attractive backstory, so be sure to monitor your inboxes closely around 9:00am Eastern on Monday! The set-up on the chart should give us a great chance at kicking off next week on a high note.

Lot78, Inc. LOTE

Moving along to today’s report, we’ve got to provide an update on LOTE, which we’ve been tracking since Thursday of last week. At the time, the stock was trading as low as .0037, and the progress it has made since then has been nothing short of astronomical.

In fact, LOTE has pushed to new highs in each of the five sessions since we brought it to the table. Yesterday, it churned out its second biggest single-session move yet, running from the open at .013 up to .03, for intraday gains of up to 131%

The overall increase over our observed low from a week ago as of yesterday’s high comes out to 711%, so big cheers are in order for anyone who caught the wave! As long as the stock continues to record higher lows and higher highs, we’ll be keeping a close eye on it.

Fresh Options Ideas:

Bank of America Corp. BAC – With the markets ripping this morning off of impressive jobs numbers, we’ll be interested in checking out a couple of contracts in the BAC options chain. The stock itself is in a good position on the chart to continue its recent rebound, so we’ll be eyeing the BAC Weekly $13 and $13.50 Calls for possible daytrade chances. But remember what we always say, in terms of weekly options trading on Friday: For expert traders only!

______

Barracuda Networks, Inc. CUDA – Following an impressive untraded-upon earnings beat yesterday afternoon, we are very keen to observe the activity in CUDA in sessions to come. We’re going to signal a couple sets of options contracts for tracking on this one as well, namely the CUDA 07/15 $15 and $17.50 Calls. These don’t expire until next Friday, so evaporating premiums won’t be an issue today.

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: Hot Options Calls & More

Bank of America Corp. BAC

Yesterday, for the second consecutive trading day, the BAC options idea we floated on Tuesday morning yielded the opportunity for solid intraday gains. The BAC Weekly $12.50 and $13 Calls produced the following chances:

$12.50 Calls – Range: .49-.74 – Max Gain: 51%
$13 Calls – .16-.34 – Max Gain: 113%

As we’ve been saying from the word go, if BAC can jump the 13.50 hurdle, we’ll be looking to roll up our strike price, and today might very well be the day it occurs. The stock traded as high as 13.48 in post-market trading yesterday, and the markets in general appear to be in line for another solid session.

To remain interested in our ideas going forward, we’ll need to see BAC hold support above 13.15 on any pullbacks.

More Options Recaps

SPDR S&P 500 ETF (SPY) – The SPY was one of a pair of fresh ideas we put in yesterday’s morning report, and with the strong daily performance of stocks across the board, the SPY Weekly $204-206 Calls we signaled enjoyed some huge multi-bag moves:

$204 Calls – Range: 1.45-3.20 – Max Gain: 121%
$205 Calls – Range: .87-2.29 – Max Gain: 163%
$206 Calls – Range: .47-1.55 – Max Gain: 230%

_______

Nike, Inc. NKE – We also highlighted a range of Nike options as the company was just coming off of a post-market earnings beat on Tuesday, specifically the NKE Weekly $52-54 Calls. Again, market-wide bullishness aided an excellent intraday push for each of our alerted contracts:

$52 Calls – Range: 1.23-3.00 – Max Gain: 144%
$52.50 Calls – Range: .85-2.61 – Max Gain: 207%
$53 Calls – Range: .60-2.13 – Max Gain: 255%
$53.50 Calls – Range: .42-1.60 – Max Gain: 281%
$54 Calls – Range: .27-1.20 – Max Gain: 344%

Fresh Idea:

Mobileye N.V. (MBLY) – We’re having such good fortune in options with current conditions allowing for the type of volatility that traders dream of, that we might as well offer up yet another new idea this morning. We’re going to be paying attention to the MBLY Weekly $44.50-46.50 Calls, as the stock is gapping up heavily in the premarket today.

Cemtrex, Inc. CETX

We’re also taking a technical interest in CETX this morning. As you can see on the following chart snapshot, there are a number factors indicating the potential for some increased upward movement.

This comes just a week after the company announced its first ever share buyback program, which will allow for the repurchase of up to a million shares over the next year.

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: BAC Options Recap & More

Bank of America Corp. BAC – Fresh Options Idea

We went bullish on BAC yesterday, confident that a rebound after Brexit-related losses could propel a set of options contracts to some sizable intraday gains. We were right on in our assessment, and after both an early morning rip, followed by a pullback and run-up into the close, were presented with multiple quick-strike opportunities.

Each of the two sets of calls we signaled, the BAC Weekly $12.50 and $13 Calls, ultimately provided us with two solid chances each:

$12.50 Calls – 1st Run: .22-.32 (+45%) – 2nd Run: .20-.37 (+85%)
$13 Calls – 1st Run: .08-11 (+37%) – 2nd Run: .05-.12 (+140%)

BAC is gapping up once again [currently trading in the 12.90-range] in the premarket, so it would appear our observed contracts are in line for a chance at another productive session. To reiterate our statement from yesterday’s report,  if BAC looks as if it will breach the 13.50-mark, we’ll be looking to roll up our strike price to that level.

Petroleo Brasiliero S.A. (Petrobras) PBR – Options Recap

We recently signaled some longer-term calls in the PBR options chain, and just wanted to take an opportunity to update our readers on the potential gains that have been made possible there.

This past Friday, we signaled the PBR 07/15 $6.50 and $7 Calls  and have been pleased with the subsequent activity. Monday’s dip provided an excellent buy opportunity as the $6.50’s traded as low as .30 and the $7’s traded as low as .15. Yesterday, we observed the $6.50’s close at .50, and the $7’s close at .27. That worked out to intraweek gain opportunities of 66% and 80%, respectively.

We’ll want to keep these on our radar, with two weeks yet remaining until their expiration date.

Fresh Options Ideas:

We’re already options-heavy this morning, so we figured why not formulate a couple more ideas to add to our pool of interests:

The Markets are gapping up big again today, and if today’s activity is at all like yesterday’s dip-and-rip scenario, we will want to pay close attention to the SPY Weekly $204-206 Calls. We’ll also be tracking the NKE Weekly $52-54 Calls on the heels of Nike’s post-market earnings beat yesterday.
