BJ Recap, Fresh Options Ideas

BJ’s Wholesale Club Holdings Inc. BJ – Recap

As usual, we put out some fresh options ideas in yesterday mornings report, and despite a poor showing for the markets in general, we did see some instant success with our one-contract target in the BJ’s chain.

We had highlighted the BJ 06/19 $30 Calls for observation and the stock provided us with a great opportunity for huge gains with its own move from from 30.39 to 35.45 (+17%). The $30 Calls ran from 1.50-5.60, for an enormous intraday rip of 273%

We will also roll up to include the 06/19 $40 Calls on our watchlist heading into the long weekend, as the momentum from yesterday’s big move could certainly spill over.

Fresh Options Ideas*:
DE Weekly $145-148 Calls
PANW Weekly $235-245 Calls
BABA Weekly $205-207.50 Calls

*Please DO NOT attempt to trade options contracts with a weekly expiration on a Friday unless you are an advanced-level trader with access to disposable funds!

We were able to score some nice gain opportunities off of the ideas we presented new for yesterday morning’s premarket report to kick off this short week.

Alibaba Group Holding Ltd. BABA – We placed the BABA Weekly $230-225 Puts on watch, and each contract in the range produced a notable move, which were as follows:

_____

Virgin Galactic Holdings, Inc. SPCE – We also declared our interest in the SPCE 02/21 $10-15 Calls and despite only a modest jump, they did produce gains, and with a month remaining until expiration there’s more than enough time for us to continue to track these calls for further advances. Here’s what we got out of them so far:

SPCE 02/21 $10-15 Calls
$10: 6.24-7.37 (+18%)
$11: 5.30-6.40 (+21%)

_______

CarSmartt, Inc. CRSM

We also provided readers with a rare OTC pick in CRSM, which has recently shown signs of bottom bounce activity, as we were mentioning yesterday morning. We got a really solid intraday run out of the stock on our first day of observation.

CRSM surged from a daily low of .024. and hit .042, for a respectable 75% intraday pop. We’ll continue to track its activity in the coming sessions.
_____

Bonus Idea: Speaking of penny stocks, we have a subpenny play that has shown activity off of a dead bottom in recent sessions. We’re going to add TGI Solar Power Group Inc. TSPG to our track list.

Starting the Short Week with New Ideas

Fresh Options Ideas

To kick off this short trading week, we are going to jump right back into the mix with a trio of options ideas for our readers. We’ve already seen the major options success which has become characteristic for us, in 2020 so far. We’ll try to keep things rolling today with these new items of interest:

Alibaba Group Holding Ltd. BABA – Despite BABA having been on a bull run for several months, BABA is slipping in the premarket this morning, and while it may only be a temporary aberration to its overall trend, we are going to signal some weekly Puts for observation in the near term. Those will be the BABA Weekly $230-225 Puts.

Twitter Inc. TWTR – Also on a months long run, TWTR has been moving to fill a massive topside gap on the chart in recent sessions, and we are going to be tracking both a short and longer term idea for this chain. Our targets here will be the TWTR Weekly $34.34-50 Calls & 02/28 $36-37 Calls.

Virgin Galactic Holdings, Inc. SPCE – We’re also interested in tracking an idea from a stock in the current ‘billionaire space race’. Let’s put the SPCE 02/21 $10-15 Calls on the radar to watch in the days and weeks ahead.

CarSmartt, Inc. CRSM

Most of our work these days pertains to big board stocks and options, but we do still scan for OTC opportunities like CRSM.

This is a penny stock which began to show signs of a bottom bounce last week. We’re going to track CRSM over coming sessions too see if it can establish more of a sustained run.
