IWEB, BCRX & Extended Watchlist

IceWEB, Inc. IWEB

We’re still focusing on IWEB after it turned in another solid session yesterday. The stock managed to close at .033, holding most of the gains from the most recently observed spike on slightly greater-than-average volume.

Maintaining support at that level was an important step in getting past current resistance at .0355, which as we mentioned in yesterday’s report, will allow the stock some breathing room and hopefully kickstart the next significant move on the chart.

In addition to a continuation of recent trends on the chart, we’ll be on the lookout for the effects of both the start of another round of shareholder awareness, and some new press out this morning.

Before we take a look at today’s press release, which outlines two of IceWEB’s new clients, we’ve uploaded a video presentation of the IWEB chart for your convenience:

Today’s News:

STERLING, Va., Jul 24, 2013 (BUSINESS WIRE) — IceWEB Storage Corporation (OTC BB:IWEB), an award-winning Unified Data Storage appliance provider for cloud and virtual environments, as well as the highly secure, scalable IceBOX BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) Private Digital Cloud Collaboration Platform, announced today that two additional K-12 school systems have ordered new IceBOX BYOD implementations, further cementing the Company’s growing presence in the education sector.

CEO Rob Howe: “We are seeing an increasing interest from Colleges and Universities, as well as K-12 School Systems across the country as we approach the new fall school year. These two organizations are particularly interested in ensuring that their secure and sensitive data is not being stored in public cloud platforms, which increases the risk of compromising the integrity of their data. IceBOX provides a secure, cost-effective way for them to do that,” >>> VIEW FULL STORY

BioCryst Pharmaceuticals, Inc. BCRX

BCRX enabled us to register gains for the second consecutive day after appearing yesterday’s morning report. Following early-morning low of 3.29, the stock rose fairly steadily over the course of the day to eventually cap off a 43% intraday run at it’s high of 4.72.

BCRX traded nearly 13X its 3mo. average volume, and held the majority of the day’s gains into the close, thus we will want to monitor the stock today for a continuation of that impressive momentum.

From the low following our initial call (2.83) on BCRX which came in Monday morning’s report, yesterday’s 4.72 high represented a possible gain of 67%

Extended Watchlist:

IWEB, TCPS, NRBT, BCRX & Extended Watchlist

IceWEB, Inc. IWEB

We have continued to follow IWEB since our first report on the stock on Tuesday July 9th. We observed nearly 100% in cumulative gains from the stock that week. Next, we saw a pullback to our initial alert price (.024), followed by several days of higher highs and higher lows. In fact, IWEB has steadily built back to yesterday’s high of .034, which is just .0015 below the recent swing high of .0355.

We hope to see IWEB break through to the next level, as it tests its previous resistance. A move past .0355 could signal another breakout from this stock so we most definitely want to keep it on our radars moving forward. As we can see on the chart above, several indicators appear to be bullish.

In addition, BARCHART.COM is currently listing IWEB with a 72% Overall “Buy” Rating, and a 100% Short-term “Buy” Rating

SIDE NOTE:

For those who may have missed yesterday’s afternoon update, we had a few solid gainers come off of yesterday morning’s report, which included TCPS, NRBT, and BCRX. We’ll want to keep an eye on those symbols today as well.

Midday Updates | TCPS, NRBT, BCRX

TechnoConcepts, Inc. TCPS
Just as we suspected. the momentum TCPS exhibited last week has carried over today. After touching an early morning low of .021, the stock has seen a  subsequent high of .0499. marking an intraday gain of 145% We certainly hope that some of you were able to take advantage of the call in this morning’s report.

For those who may be new to our mailing lists, this isn’t the first time that TCPS has afforded us the chance at big gains. Back in May, we followed this stock from a low of .0025 all the way up .0689, bringing us up to 2650% in gains, and making it one of this year’s most successful plays.

Novus Robotics, Inc. NRBT
NRBT is another stock off this morning’s report to be enjoying a good start to the week. After touching a 21-cent low, we’ve just seen a new high of day print at .315, marking an intraday move of 50% at the time of this publication.

BioCryst Pharmaceuticals, Inc. BCRX
Yet another winner from this morning’s watchlist, we have  BCRX, which has traded today in a range from 2.83-3.69, registering a possible gain of up to 30%

Monday’s Watchlist: Options Ideas, Momentum Plays

Options Trading: Lululemon Athletica, Inc. LULU Calls

Last Monday, we mentioned an Options Trading idea, as we were looking at the LULU $65 Calls. We believed that LULU stock could head up past $67 and push toward the $68-level. On Wednesday, the $65 Calls were trading below .30. By Friday, we got the move that we were looking for out of the stock (hit high of 67.90), pushing those Calls as high as 2.80 as shown on the intraweek chart below.

This play was was a good example of why we like to monitor options contracts as they approach expiration, as they can exhibit some of their most volatile activity during that period. Even those who didn’t catch on until Friday could have walked away with up to 100% in intraday gains.

Celsion Corp. CLSN
&
OXiGENE, Inc. OXGN

Each of these stocks, after appearing in Friday morning’s extended watchlist would go on to perform well for the session:

CLSN traded from a low of 1.35, and spiked 15% to 1.55.

OXGN saw a daily range from a low of 3.31, and touching a high of 3.81 for a possible gain of 16%

TechnoConcepts, Inc. TCPS
&
TheDirectory.com, Inc. SEEK

Both of these stocks qualified as momentum plays last week, thus will be on our list of stocks to monitor as we begin the new trading week:

On Friday, TCPS traded in a big range from .008-.04 on roughly 4X its 3mo. average volume.

SEEK went on a run last week as well, and on Friday traded massive volume, to the tune of more than 10X the 3mo. average.

Options Trading Side Note:
Following tomorrow’s market close Apple earnings will be released, so we are eager to see how AAPL stock reacts to those figures. If they will fail to impress, we should see a dip followed by a bounce- should they exceed the Street’s expectations, we will likely be looking at a gap-up and run on Wednesday morning. Either way it shakes out, we will be looking to take advantage with properly timed Calls placed in the money.

Extended Watchlist:
IWEB, NRBT, BTG, BCRX

CLNO, IWEB & Extended Watchlist

Cleantech Transit, Inc. CLNO

New subscribers might not be familiar with CLNO, a stock that we rode for gains in excess of 5000% over a four month period this spring to early summer.

On Tuesday, we caught CLNO coming off of its 50DMA, and added it to our extended watchlist. After being as low as .12 at that time, it has managed to make higher highs and higher lows each day since.

Yesterday saw a high of .265 (+121%), and the stock closed strong at .26, just slightly below the HOD. As is usually the case when we see good momentum at the end of a session, we’ll want to keep CLNO on watch this morning for a continuation of the trend. We’ll need to see the stock test and overcome resistance at the previous swing high of .365, and from the look of the chart, there seems a fair chance of that occurring.

We can see the RSI is rumbling toward the power zone, and the MACD appears to be converging for a cross as the blue bars on the histogram prepare to flip up to the bullish side.

IceWEB, Inc. IWEB
We’ve been following IWEB all week long, and yesterday the stock continued to make higher highs and higher lows, closing at the high of day. Similarly to the previously mentioned play, IWEB is currently sporting a chart with several indicators pointing toward bullishness. In addition to breaking above the 100DMA yesterday, the RSI is making its way towards the power zone, and the Accumulation/Distribution has begun to pick up.

The previous swing high of .0355 is going to be an area of significant resistance. Should it break past that point, there’s easily a shot that the stock could find its way back to the 200DMA around the mid-.04 range.

For those who need to refresh their memory, we’ve been following IWEB since Tuesday of last week, when we released a special report on the stock after catching it coming off of its 52-week lows.
