We offered up a buffet of options choices yesterday, and two of our ideas panned out immediately, with our longer-term idea still needing some time to mature.

The ones that worked out without delay were the designated ideas from the DBI and CONN chains. They were the DBI 12/20 $17.50-15 Puts and the CONN 12/20 $17-15 Puts. Both of those were bearish signals on puts, and both yielded solid intraday results, good for opportunities to score the following daily gains:

Big Lots, Inc. BIG – Yesterday we reported on the success of the BIG 12/20 $22.50-27.50 Calls which we included in Friday’s premarket report and those set explosive new highs yesterday. Here are the total two-day upswings achieved by those plays:

CGC – We also placed the CGC Weekly $19-19.50 Calls on watch yesterday morning as a fresh idea to start the trading off with, and we’re pleased to relay the multi-bag intraday performances out of that pair of contracts. The $19 Calls ran from .42-2.54 for a daily gain of % and the $19.50’s posted a range from .35-2.11, making total gains of up to % possible on the day.

To kick off the trading week on Monday, we included a mention of KOD in Monday’s premarket extended watchlist. On Tuesday morning, we updated reader on the amazing run the stock made from 35.00 to a high of 72.97 (+108%).

Yesterday’s session saw a pullback from those highs followed by another highly impressive intraday swing. The stock traded in a range from a low of 53.00 to a subsequent new high of 74.50. That’s another huge daily upswing to the tune of 41% and a total increase over Monday’s low of 113%

Workday Inc. WDAY – Options Update

We had highlighted some WDAY Puts in yesterday’s premarket report, the WDAY Weekly $167.50-165 Puts, and despite the stock closing in the green, it had some trouble early on that led to some nice multi-bag gain opportunities.

The $167.50 Puts ran from a low of 2.25 and reached 5.93 for a gain of 164%, while the $165’s traded in a range from 1.50-4.10, an upswing of 173%

AXSM Runner, Options Ideas

Axsome Therapeutics, Inc. AXSM

We’ve got a major recent success story to tell with AXSM today. We highlighted this stock roughly seven weeks ago in our report on October 16th, and AXSM has done very little else but continue to press upward, setting new highs on a practically daily basis.

We would tag in yesterday’s report once again before seeing the stock attain new highs for the umpteenth time in recent weeks. Our observed low following our initial alert is 20.48, and as of yesterday’s brand new high of 47.24, that marks a fantastic swing of 131% There’s no telling where this wild ride will let off, with the stock having already been firmly in Blue Sky territory for well over a week now.

Workday Inc. WDAY reported on earnings in the post-market yesterday, and despite a beat on sales and earnings, the company’s forecast precipitated a shakedown of the stock. We’re going to sit on the bearish side of the fence and monitor to the WDAY Weekly $167.50-165 Puts

Excelon Corp. EXC is simply a double-bottom, potential extended-term rebound idea that we want to offer up. We’re going to begin tracking the EXC 02/21 $45-47 Calls, with the stock looking due for a recovery at any time.

Big Gainers, New Ideas

Donaldson Company Inc. DCI

With the earnings calendar still looking a bit light following the Thanksgiving lull, we are seeing one potential opportunity showing some synergy with the current market environment.

DCI missed on earnings published this morning, while also having been exhibiting a strong double top formation (bearish signal). Along with what looks to be a strong chance of another lackluster day for the markets at large, we are going to begin tracking the DCI 12/20 $50-45 Puts.

Kodiak Sciences, Inc. KOD

We also wanted to review the epic single session performance of KOD, which we included in yesterday’s premarket extended watchlist.

The stock responded with a huge run from 35.00 to a high of 72.97. That works out to an intraday surge of 108% which is simply incredible for a stock in this price range.

Organogenesis Holdings Inc. ORGO

Lastly, we’ve got a number of factors drawing our interest to ORGO. From a technical standpoint, the stock is looking ripe for rebound off of its bottom and potential topside gap fill.

Meanwhile, an institutional insider filed a Form-4 for the purchase of $30M near the current lows. When considering the entire picture, ORGO is definitely one that we will want to observe closely in the days, and possibly weeks ahead.
