Blue Horseshoe Stocks: Options Roundup & More

Twitter, Inc. TWTR

We had a really good idea for the TWTR options chain on Thursday morning with the Weekly $18-19.50 Calls. Not only did they make multi-bag gains on Thursday, but with another bullish session Friday, our total possible profits were extended by a significant margin.

The Bon-Ton Stores, Inc. BONT

We tagged BONT on Thursday morning, at which time we observed a low of .68 in the stock. After a solid first session, we reiterated the tag in Friday’s report and the stock came out of the starting gate like a bolt. It traded all the way up to 1.15 before tapering back, but not before completing a two-day swing of 69% for us.

The stock’s presently hovering around a dollar, so we’ll be watching as the new trading week kicks off this morning to see if BONT can manage to string together a third session of higher highs and higher lows.

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: Updates, Options & More

First thing’s first- we have a few of updates from our premarket report on Tuesday, that we held over until today in favor of the Special Report which we published yesterday.

Neothetics, Inc. NEOT

One of the real standouts from our premarket report on Tuesday morning turned out to be NEOT, which stair-stepped its way steadily up the chart all day long.

From its low of .83, the stock traded up as high as 1.99, which worked out to an intraday increase of 140% and the move occurred on extremely high volume, to the tune of more than 85X the monthly average.

Yesterday, NEOT transitioned into consolidation mode off of that impressive high, so we’ll be monitoring it for support, because the recent volatility suggests that a significant rebound could ensue.

 TransEnterix, Inc. TRXC

We caught TRXC on Monday after it was reported that the company’s robotic surgery device got regulatory approval. The result was a very nice run from a low of  2.15 to 3.05 (+42%) on that day. Tuesday, we mentioned that we’d be on the lookout for further gains, and the stock did go on to hit new highs.

Tuesday TRXC ran from 3.28 all the way up to an even 5.00, an intraday gain of 52% and an overall increase of 133% from our observed low at the beginning of this week.

Yesterday, much like NEOT, TRXC began to pull back, and so we’ll also want to continuie watching this one for a potential dip-and-rip type formation.

Firefish, Inc. FRFS – Chatroom Call

FRFS was .0047 when we alerted it our trader’s chatroom on Tuesday morning. As of yesterday’s high of .077, we had witnessed a mind-blowing two-day swing of 1538% With the kind of price action and volatility we’ve seen exhibited by FRFS in the past two days, we’ll definitely want to keep our eyes peeled for further activity.

This play is another good example of why we encourage our members to get involved with this aspect of our daily activities. Ideas that come to us after 9AM Eastern don’t make it into our premarket reports, so the chats are your way to keep up with what’s moving in real time.

Ulta Beauty, Inc ULTA – Options Idea

We’re looking at ULTA as a potential recovery play into the holiday season, as the stock just bounced off of a new annual low this week. Last week, a huge block of insider buying came in, on the order of more than $21M.

For some extended-term recovery ideas, we’re going to signal  and track the ULTA 12/01 $202.50-212.50 Calls and the 12/15 $210-225 Calls.

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: DIS, TRXC Recaps & More

 TransEnterix, Inc. TRXC

We made a good catch when we included TRXC in yesterday morning’s premarket report, after it was reported that the company’s robotic surgery device got the regulatory approval it needed.

The result was a very nice run from a low of  2.15 to 3.05, the highest PPS the stock has seen since the spring of 2016. That works out to an intraday push of 42% and this morning TRXC is edging even higher in before-hours trading, so we’ll want to continue to keep an eye on it moving forward.

Walt Disney Co. DIS

We highlighted some options ideas for Disney yesterday morning, after noticing that it had  a nice bottom setup on the chart, trading near its ten-month lows.

For a near-term idea we signaled the DIS Weekly $96-98 Calls and among those five contracts, three produced opportunities for solid single-session gains.

$97 Calls – Range: 1.15-1.57 – Max Gain: 37%
$97.50 Calls – Range: .81-1.22  – Max Gain: 51%.
$98 Calls – Range: .49-.89 – Max Gain: 82%

We also noticed that the $98.50s had the highest open interest, so we will want to roll up our observed range a little and keep an eye on those for the remainder of the week.

Netflix, Inc. NFLX

We also want to put a few options contracts in the NFLX chain on watch. The stock has been in a general uptrend for nearly all of 2017, with the exception of one month between late July and late August. Currently the stock is approaching extreme overbought levels on the strength index just as it was prior to that downturn.

On the flip side, boosted guidance and a strong earnings call this morning could make things interesting. Due to these opposing factors, we’re going to want to watch some contracts on both sides of the fence, depending on NFLX’s behavior once regular market hours kick in.

If the stock can’t get above $207.50, we’re going to zero in on the NFLX Weekly $207.50 and $205 Puts. Conversely, if it holds above $200 on any pullbacks, we’ll focus on the Weekly $200-205 Calls.
