Blue Horseshoe Stocks: AmpliTech Update & More

Amplitech Group, Inc. AMPG

We have been tracking AMPG for roughly seven weeks now, and thought it was a good time to provide another update. Following our initial alert on the stock in the beginning of April, we observed a low of .043, and AMPG hasn’t looked back. We continued to pound the table as it has gradually ramped its way up, and yesterday it once again pressed its upper limits. The new high on this play is now .0699, which works out to a total rise of 63% in the time we’ve been covering AMPG.

We would also highly suggest our readers take the time to check out the following video on AMPG which offers an exclusive perspective on what makes this company and stock so attractive. We took a hard line on deeming the stock to be undervalued when we started, and have been vindicated as the market has shown itself to agreee with us. This video goes into a bit more depth on that.

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: Retail Earnings Plays

Retail Earnings Ideas

Two of the biggest names jumping out to us off of the earnings calendar this morning are a couple of giants in the retail space, Target and Kohls. We want to formulate some options ideas to correspond with good reports from both companies.

Target Corp. TGT – In the case of Target, the company exceeded expectations on the street for both sales and earnings, while guidance for the remainder of 2019 was promising. That’s just the type pof release we  are always looking out for, and we are going to be tracking the TGT Weekly $75-77 Calls on the heels of this report.
_____

Kohl’s Corp. KSS – The story is much the same for Kohls. Beats on profits, sales, and earnings sent shares flying in the premarket, so we want to be ready with an idea here as well. We’ll monitor the KSS Weekly $68.50-70.50 Calls as we head into midweek.

Those ran from ,28 up to .50, good for an intraday pop of 82%

Target Corp. TGT

For a fresh set of options ideas yesterday morning, we had signaled the TGT Weekly $87.50-89 Calls for observation after the company recorded its best quarterly figures in a decade.

Despite posting a red candle on the day, the early activity in the stock was sufficient to provide our selected options contracts with the juice to make some respectable intraday rips.

$87.50 Calls – Range: .70-1.50 – Max Gain: 114%
$88 Calls – Range: .55-1.22 – Max Gain: 122%
$88.50 Calls – Range: .43-.95 – Max Gain: 121%
$89 Calls – Range: .14-.40 – Max Gain: 186%

FRESH IDEAS:

We’ll continue to stick with big name earnings plays as long as they’re on the table. Earnings related options trading has become our bread and butter, and for good reason. As TGT proved yesterday, we don’t even need for these stocks to close in the green to give us what we’re looking for- all we need is the right early morning activity.

Today we’ve got a pair of fresh ideas that also just reported earnings. We’re going to be monitoring the Alibaba Group Holding Ltd. BABA Weekly $180-185 Calls, and the Williams-Sonoma, Inc. WSM 09/21 $67.50 & $70 Calls.
