Five Fresh Ideas to Start the Week

Friday’s Options Movers:

We put an excellent cap on last week, finishing up on Friday morning with a trio of options ideas in our premarket report. It was a good way to cap off the final session The markets put on a good performance, and that helped to propel our targets to some very good intraday increases and possible profits.

Those plays were the SPY 07/15 $379-382.50 Calls, the UNH Weekly $507.50-515 Calls, and the PINS Weekly $19-20.50 Calls.The success ran all the way across the board, with only one of the thirteen individual contract sets in our designated ranges falling just shy of multi-bag territory. United Maritime Corp. USEA – We’ve also got a quick update this morning on USEA, which just commenced trading on the NASDAQ on July 6th. We tracked it over a nice 64% run the following day on the 7th, after which it consolidated into last week. After appearing again in Friday morning’s premarket report, we watched USEA make another solid move from 4.30-6.07 (+41%).

BAC, SYF Options Review: 

We made good on both of the short-term options trading ideas we issued in yesterday morning’s premarket report. with our long -term play needing some more time to mature. We typically steer clear of banks, but occasionally we will take a shot following an earnings drop and we did so successfully with Bank of America.

We were zeroed in on the BAC Weekly $36.50-37.50 Calls, as well as the SYF Weekly $37-39 Calls, which also produced significant intraday gain opportunities for us on the day. The daily ranges and total possible profits off of those ideas were as follows:

Casa Systems Inc. CASA – Recap:

Another winner from yesterday morning’s report was CASA, which we tagged for the first time in our extended watchlist. The stock would go on to place as the top gainer on the NASDAQ for the day. From an early low of 5.63, CASA ran to a high of 7.18, marking down a respectable intraday run of 28%

Our options idea for the TWTR chain from Thursday morning’s premarket report returned good intraday results despite the stock trending in the wrong direction. The markets were subdued on Thursday, but that also played well into the bearish ideas we had signaled in the two sessions prior. On Tuesday we signaled some puts in the KMX chain, and on Wednesday, we added JPM to the mix. In both cases, Thursday’s session brought new highs for us.
