Blue Horseshoe Stocks: Kicking Off the Short Week

Imprimis Pharmaceuticals, Inc. IMMY

We began tracking IMMY as it was coming off of recent relative lows on Thursday morning, and at the time the stock saw a low of 2.12 before continuing the bottom-bounce that initially drew our attention.

That trend continued on Friday, as we suggested it might in our premarket report, with IMMY adding a solid session wherein the stock pushed its way from a low of 2.50 to a new high of 3.05. It went down in the books as an intraday increase of 22%, and a two-day swing of 44% over our observed low from Thursday.

Momentous Entertainment Group, Inc. MMEG

Wednesday morning’s premarket report was when we caught on with MMEG, and after making a nice two-day swing of 123% from a low of .0017 to .0038 on Wednesday and Thursday, the stock continued to push upward on Friday and secured multi-day runner status.

From a low of .0032 the ran to .0055, which works out to a daily rip of 72% and a three-day overall move of 224% over the low we saw on Wednesday.

Yippy, Inc. YIPI

We tagged YIPI in Friday’s extended watchlist, catching the stock just in time to witness a solid run from .60-1.09, which marked an intraday rise of 82%

The excellent single-session move came on volume of more than 17X the monthly average, so we’re definitely going to want to keep an eye on it as we kick off this holiday-shortened week.

Novus Acquisition & Development Corp. NDEV

After first alerting NDEV on December 12th, we’ve borne witness to a really nice run that has essentially lasted the entire time since then.

We observed a low of .30 in the stock on that first day, and it didn’t fall below that mark once in these ten ensuing sessions. What it has done, is gradually raise the bar, until it cracked through the dollar barrier to set a new high of 1.05 on Friday. That qualifies as a two-week swing amounting to 250%

Petrobras Argentina PZE

To wrap up this lengthy review of all the recent winners we’ve been tracking, we want to make a quick mention of PZE, which we slated as a bottom-watch play at the end of last month.

We urged readers to monitor the stock closely in the days that followed, feeling strongly that a rebound was in order, and the month of December has really validated that notion convincingly. From the low we witnessed the day after our alert at 4.66, PZE has made its way to a new high of 6.77, a solid 45% swing.

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: MJMJ, MEET Recaps & More

MeetMe, Inc. MEET

Yesterday
we tagged MEET for the first time since last year, and our timing in turning our attention back to it was excellent. On the strength of improved Q2 guidance published in a premarket PR, the stock made a healthy intraday move.

From a morning low of 1.66, MEET went on to hit an even 2.00 high toward the end of the session; a 20% swing. Volume was excessive, on the order of roughly 22x the 3-month average. Ideally, we need to see MEET maintain support at or above the new 200DMA of 1.74 on any pullbacks in order for us to remain interested.

The MaryJane Group, Inc. MJMJ

At the end of last week we were monitoring MJMJ for a bottom, After coming up off its bottom on Tuesday and providing us with a quality  opportunity, MJMJ continued to perform well with a nice intraday surge.

The stock made its way from an early low of .0036, and managed a subsequent high of .0055; a hefty 53% move.

From our observed low of .0027, we’ve seen an overall increase of 104% over a period of just a few sessions. With many cannabis stocks beginning to show increased signs of life lately, we’ll be sure to continue monitoring this play and others in the sector.

Cleveland BioLabs, Inc. CBLI

We want to keep an eye on CBLI after this morning’s big announcement (link below), which has essentially caused the stock to enter into Blue-Sky Breakout mode this morning, cracking through its 200DMA of 5.35 in the premarket. If it can maintain that 200DMA as support on an early pullback, we could see added increases.

Regardless, whenever we run across a stock in this position we’re always on the lookout for dip-and-rip scenarios to occur after a consolidation. It’s a pattern that we’ve seen played out time and time again.

Pazoo, Inc. PZOO

We also noticed a PR published on PZOO for the second consecutive day. After yesterday’s big announcement that the company had fully acquired MA & Associates’ marijuana testing business, today we learned that the company’s other subsidiary has signed a new, potentially lucrative distribution agreement.

Pazoo is another company that falls under the category of those doing everything they can to capitalize on the ever-expanding marijuana sector. It has remained extremely active in pursuing that goal over the entire time we’ve been tracking the stock.

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: JDST Review, Options Ideas & More

Direxion Daily Jr Gld Mnrs Bear 3X ETF (JDST)

We highlighted JDST in Friday’s morning report, and on that day we observed a low of 11.40 following a gap-up. Bolstered jobs numbers and the continued strength of the dollar combined with a lag in gold prices fueled the beginning of what has turned out to be a solid run for this ETF.

Yesterday, it continued its uptrend, breaking through the 200DMA (14.46) and reaching as high as 14.50. That translates to a respectable two-session increase of 27%

We’ll be keeping a close eye on the spot price of gold which is currently holding support off of three-month lows, and urge caution moving forward. A significant rebound would effectively spell the end of JDST’s current momentum.

Vencor International, Inc. VCOR

We’re also taking notice of VCOR this morning on the heels of a premarket PR alluding to a massive 40% reduction of its authorized common stock. VCOR has recently been rebounding off of its lowest price in more than four months, and it’s possible we’ll see a continuation of that momentum as a result of today’s announcement.

Vencor Announces Reduction of 2 Billion Authorized Shares (Tue 8:30AM EDT)

Qihoo 360 Technology Co. Ltd. QIHU – Options Ideas

We’re catching QIHU in the midst of a morning gap-up today following the company’s post-market earnings beat yesterday. It’s leading us to formulate a couple of options-trading ideas that we’ll share with you now, along with a snapshot of the current chart to help illustrate the opportunities it presents.

The stock itself is coming off of a recently established 52-week low, which in and of itself is a phenomena for which we’re constantly on the lookout.

For a possible short-term swing trade opportunity, we’ll be monitoring the QIHU Weekly (03/13) $48-49 Calls. We’ll also be keeping watch over the 03/27 $50 Calls (Last Trade: 2.22) for a longer-term possibility.
