Blue Horseshoe Stocks: MACK, RITT, BIGG & More

Merrimack Pharmaceuticals, Inc. MACK

We’ve got MACK, a play that has been on our watchlist before, bringing itself to the forefront today as news about a licensing agreement has the stock gapping up to the tune of 20% in the premarket. We’re going to be interested to see how it comes out of the gate this morning in response to the announcement.

Baxter International Inc. (BAX) and Merrimack Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (MACK) today jointly announced an exclusive license and collaboration agreement for the development and commercialization of MM-398 >>> GO TO PR

RiT Technologies, Inc. RITT

Another gapper, RITT is also up significantly in premarket trading this morning. The stock had a strong session yesterday, trading in a range from 1.28 – 1.97 on exceedingly heavy volume; more than ten times the monthly average, so we are looking at it for potential momentum carryover into today.

Given the nature of the yesterday’s activity, we could also be looking at a possible dip-and-rip scenario as inevitable profit-taking pares back the share price.

Big Tree Group, Inc. BIGG

BIGG was actually passed along to us awhile back by one of our subscribers. (Readers should feel encouraged to share any ideas you might have with us!) Since then we’ve had the stock on the back burner, passively following along until it was ripe for the picking. We began to see some positive movement off of the bottom yesterday, so we think now could be a good time to flag this play for more intensive monitoring.

Added Note – Options Trading Idea

GTLS was the subject of a buyout rumor yesterday, which effected some upwad movement in the stock. As a result we just want to radar the October $65 Calls, which last traded at 1.50.

Extended Watchlist:
LPCN, ICLD, BBRY, BBBY, SINO

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: EVLI, KNDI, ADMD & More

Everlert, Inc. EVLI

We’ll continue to have an eye on EVLI into next week. The stock essentially traded sideways on relatively light volume during Thursday’s session, thus all of our observations of this play still remain true. A recovery pattern is in effect with EVLI as it reached 52-week lows five sessions ago, and has registered higher lows each day.

We’re going to be looking for EVLI to hold support at or above a nickel, while .07 is acting as resistance. A look at the chart still shows bullish indicators; the MACD which recently crossed is diverging sharply as the stock continues to trend off of its recent lows.

Kandi Technolgies Group, Inc. KNDI

We started off this short week with a note on KNDI, mentioning that it had been hit hard the previous Friday, and that we would be waiting for the dust to settle which has been occurring all week.

Currently the stock is holding support above $17, and this is going to be another one that we monitor into next week for potential rebound.

Advanced Medical Isotope Corp. ADMD

ADMD caught our eye after coming down to touch .0028 yesterday, one tick above  52-week low, and then rapidly snapping back to the .005 to .006-range.

We’ll want to be ready to take quick advantage of any further rebound chances the stock might offer up from here. It was trading over a penny as recently as the third week in August and the chart looks to be ripening.

Extended Watchlist:
ICLD, MNDL, MOBI, SGOC, INUV

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: PSID, KNDI, PBR & Extended Watchlist

PositiveID Corp. PSID

The first thing we’d like to do this morning is go over how well PSID performed yesterday following our pre-market alert. Our timing proved to be spot-on in calling the bottom on this play, and after putting it on high alert in our report, we were rewarded with a couple of chances to gain over the course of the session.

The stock ran hard out of the starting gate, with trading opening up at .043 and rapidly reaching the day’s high at .064, a spike of 48% That was followed by a pullback to .049 where we got another upswing, this time to .058, a modest yet respectable intraday move of 18%

Those two significant swings combined for cumulative total gains of 66% on the day, and the stock managed to close at .057, holding on to much of the day’s forward progress. This all occurred on roughly 6x PSID’s 3-month average volume.

Congrats to anyone who was able to make PSID work for them, and be sure to stay tuned, as a performance like that could lead to a strong finish to the week.

Kandi Technologies Group, Inc. KNDI

This is a stock that we’ve been tracking for over a year now, as a quick look at KNDI’s archive on our blog will reveal. Our most recent tag of this stock came via Monday morning’s extended watchlist, and over the course of the week, it has yielded quite a nice move; We saw a low of 15.76 on Monday, and by yesterday’s session we observed a high of 20.96, an intraweek gain of 33%

Those who may have picked up on this play following our next most recent alert of this play (June 12th ) could have caught a low of 12.30. Yesterday’s high marked a 70% move up from that level.

Petroleo Brasiliero S.A. (Petrobras) PBR

Our regulars are aware of how tenaciously we’ve covered PBR this year. On March 21st we added it to our watchlist as it was coming off of 10-year lows. Our observed low that day was 11.25, and the stock never looked back. We’ve traded primarily in the options chain of PBR and have made percentage gains in the thousands over the course of several months, but even the overall action on the stock itself has been impressive.

Yesterday’s session set a new high of 16.43 and in premarket trading today that has been pushed to more than $17, from the low we saw this spring, that’s an overall move of over 50% on the chart.

However, the swing action on this play over the past few months has been terrific, as we’ve pointed out on the following chart. As you can see, after our initial alert, there have been no less than three major swings. The current positioning breaks PBR out of the channel we illustrate below, signaling potential for further moves to the upside.

As far as the options chain is concerned, we’ll be looking for a pullback from profit taking on this major spike, and after that, we’re interested in the potential of the $16.50 and $17.00 Weekly Calls for an intraday flip opportunity today.

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: New Play, Updates & Extended Watchlist

Solar Wind Energy Tower, Inc. SWET

We’ve got a new item of interest in the penny arena to start things off this morning. Following a major run back in April, SWET has consolidated, and has been generally trading sideways ever since. We like the look of the chart, and feel that conditions are coming to a point where things could get interesting.

As you can see on the chart below, the RSI has held in there above the 50-line, there’s been a recent Golden Cross of the 50DMA over the 200DMA, and the MACD appears ready to start turning to the bullish side. It may not be too long before we see a pop out of this thing, so we’ll keep an eye peeled for that.

We also got word this morning that the company will be presenting at a prestigious investment banking conference at the beginning of next week:

ANNAPOLIS, MD, Jun 13, 2014 (Marketwired via COMTEX) — Solar Wind Energy Tower, Inc. (OTCQB: SWET) (the “Company”), the inventor of large Solar Wind Downdraft Tower structures capable of producing abundant, inexpensive electricity, announced that management will present at the National Investment Banking Association (NIBA) Conference to be held on June 16-18, 2014 at the Roosevelt Hotel in New York, NY.The NIBA Conference will give Solar Wind Energy Tower, Inc. access to a large audience at one time. NIBA’s membership is vast and multinational, and representing over 8,800 registered reps with an estimated $78B in assets under management. >>> FULL PR

Global Gaming Network, Inc. GBGM

With the vast array of stocks that we’re tracking all the time, it isn’t too much of a surprise when one of them perks up its head and regenerates our interest. Such was the case with GBGM yesterday; the last time we made mention of this stock in our daily reports was back on May 1st. At the time, we were monitoring the play for a bottom, which took the better part of the next month to reach.

GBGM touched down and found support at .0008 recently, and yesterday the sleeping giant was finally awakened as the company announced that it had retired 50 million shares of common stock, thereby reducing the number of outstanding shares 6%. What resulted was a significant upswing that took the stock as high as .0021 and generated gains of up to 162% for anyone that caught the bottom.

Options Ideas

OpenTable, Inc. OPEN

OPEN is gapping up tremendously this morning on news that the company is to be acquired by The Priceline Group. In situations like these, we like to monitor these high-flyers for subsequent dip-and-rip scenarios. Specifically regarding the options chain, when a strong move like this is properly utilized, it can spell big gains for those playing the Call side.

When something of this magnitude occurs, it can also create a sector-wide ripple effect, so we may also want to track stocks like LIVE, YELP, GRUB, and of course, PCLN.

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: PBR Options, Cannabis Updates

Petroleo Brasiliero SA (Petrobras) PBR – Options

We first began tracking the PBR options chain one week ago today (03/21), and at that time, the May 2nd $12 Calls that we pointed out were trading as low as .31. With the exception of a marginal pullback on Wednesday, PBR has been in a recovery uptrend since recently touching its all-time lows, and that has allowed us to see some excellent gain opportunities.

Yesterday brought more new highs as the $12 Calls closed at a new high of 1.10, a 255% gain from our initial alert low. Since there is plenty of time before their expiration, we will stay interested in these contracts, with the continued recovery of PBR’s share price.

For some intraday opportunities we may consider moving up our strike price, and checking out the $12.50, or even the $13 Weekly Calls. In the event of another breakout-type session, we could possibly go as high as the $13.50’s. It’s always about being pushed in the money when we’re looking at our potential strike prices.

Surna, Inc. SRNA

SRNA is a stock to recently wake up from the dead, and like so many other new interests we’ve found, has been gaining ground on the strength of its entry into the increasingly trendy marijuana space.

That alone would have been cause to keep an eye on this stock moving forward. Another reason  SRNA has garnered a spot on our watchlist, is that per this morning’s PR, it’s now headed up by Zynga co-founder Tom Bollich. It will be interesting to see what someone of his expertise can bring to the rapidly burgeoning cannabis market.

Today’s News:
BOULDER, CO–(Marketwired – Mar 28, 2014) – Surna Inc. (OTCQB: SRNA), a company focused on the acquisition of cannabis industry related intellectual property, disruptive technologies, assets and scalable operating companies, today announced it has closed a merger with Safari Resource Group, Inc.

In conjunction with the transaction, Tom Bollich, visionary technologist and co-founder of San Francisco-based gaming company Zynga, has joined Surna as chief executive officer and a member of the Board of Directors. Additionally, the Company has appointed two other senior executives, Doug McKinnon and Tae Darnell, to its Board. >> FULL PR

Tranzbyte Corp. ERBB
Although it has been on our radar since 2012, we began talking about ERBB more heavily at the start of the “Green Rush”, which coincided with the beginning of trading in 2014.

At the time, we observed a low of .0026, and to say the stock has gone on to make massive gains is quite an understatement.  As of its recent high of .113, we were looking at an overall move of 4246% In a span of roughly three months, that is an unbelievable gain opportunity.

ERBB has been under consolidation since hitting that high, and is sniffing out a bottom, currently in the low .06-range, but we’ll want to keep an eye peeled after this morning’s PR, the company having set the launch date of its cannabis-vending solution, the ZaZZZ(TM) Machine.
