Blue Horseshoe Stocks: New Options Ideas, Bottom-Plays & More

Synergy Pharmaceutical, Inc. SGYP

SGYP kept piling on the gains yesterday with a great showing, emerging as one of our top picks of the week. For those who may have missed the reports, we declared interest in this play on Wednesday morning, and shortly thereafter bore witness to a solid 32% intraday run.

In yesterday morning’s report, we reinforced our confidence in the stock’s ability to produce another nice move based on the level of momentum it had built to that point. Our assumption proved accurate, and SGYP turned in an intraday increase of 19% from its early low of 7.92 up to a high of 9.44.

That move brought our total observed range on this play in a span of just two sessions to 56% (6.05-9.44).

SGYP is trading up slightly in the premarket with shares having traded hands for as much as 9.56 thus far this morning. While we’ll need to stay wary of potential pullbacks caused by profit-taking, we won’t want to let SGYP slip off of our radars.

The company’s Phase 3 trials for plecanatide as treatment for chronic idiopathic constipation met primary endpoints in both data runs, and there are many on Wall St. who believe we’ve yet to see the ceiling on this play’s potential.

`
Options Ideas

Under Armour, Inc. UA – We’re cap things off week by formulating a couple of options ideas for UA. The stock has been on quite a rip recently, and we’re going to explore the possibility of using the trend to our advantage. Specifically, we’re going to be monitoring UA Weekly $82.50-83.50 Calls for potential quick-strike intraday swing-trade chances, while reserving a spot on our longer-term watchlist for the 07/31 $84 Calls.

Added Reminder: We also are going to stay hot on the trail of the PBR Options ideas we mentioned in yesterday’s report (08/21 $10 and $11 Calls) into next week. We’ve already seen moves approaching and exceeding 100% in those contracts, and want to remain open to the possibility of more coming down the pipe, with plenty of time left until their expiration date.

Bottom-Bounce Watchlist:

Both Medican Enterprises, Inc. MDCN and Adaptive Media, Inc. ADTM took huge gut-punches yesterday, and will end the week on our bottom-watch radar. The possibility for significant rebound opportunities could be forthcoming either today or early into next week.

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: SGYP, PBR Recaps & More

Synergy Pharmaceutical, Inc. SGYP

We determined that the nature of SGYP’s premarket activity on the heels of a positive PR yesterday warranted inclusion in our morning report, and the result was yet another winning performance in what has thus far been a great week.

SGYP proceeded to trade in a daily range from its early low of 6.05 on up to 7.97, marking an intraday spike of 32% on volume which exceeded the 3-month average by more than 20X.

That momentum is spilling over into premarket trading this morning, and we’re seeing another gap up today. We’re going to be very interested to follow the action as the session kicks off, open to the possibility of another dip-and-rip.

`
Axion Power International, Inc. AXPW

Our coverage of AXPW this week yielded up big opportunities right from the start, and the trend continued early in yesterday’s session. The stock broke hard out of the starting gate and made a 30% run from .165-.214. As you can see on the 1-minute chart snapshot below, there were also a couple of subsequent swings that would follow.

AXPW ended up closing at .18, and has traded slightly higher in the premarket today.

Petroleo Brasiliero SA (Petrobras) PBR – Options

We also want to track back to a report on PBR we published on the morning of June 3rd, wherein we formulated some longer-term options ideas; specifically the 08/21 $10 and $11 Calls. The PBR chart has been ripening nicely of late, and as a result we’ve seen some nice chances for gain with those contracts.

August $10 Calls – Range: .31-.64 – Max Gain: 106%
August $11 Calls – Range: .17-.30 – Max Gain: 76%

As you can plainly see, PBR is working on one heck of a chart setup, so we’ll certainly continue to monitor these calls that have consistently been making higher lows and higher highs along with the stock.

StemCells, Inc. STEM

We want to tag STEM for observation this morning in the wake of an interested premarket PR we’ve noticed. The company has received the green light from Health Canada “to expand its Phase II clinical trial for chronic cervical spinal cord injury”. >> Read PR

The stock is gapping up in premarket trading, and if it can manage to break through its recent swing high at .74 once the session begins, things could get rather interesting.

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: Recapping VLTC, PZOO & More

Pazoo, Inc. PZOO

Price action on PZOO has continued to offer up quick-strike gain opportunities for us over the past several sessions,. as well as making an excellent overall move.

To quickly recap: We tagged this play on Wednesday, April 1st, and were shown a solid 37% intraday run from .0052-.0071. The stock then retraced back to a low of .0049 on Monday morning, and from there it has managed to register higher highs and higher lows all week long.

Monday’s high was .0068, marking a 39% intraday thrust. On Tuesday, PZOO traded in a range from .006-.008 (+33%). Wednesday’s move was a bit more subdued, at 14% (.007-.008), but yesterday, things really took off. From an early low of .0078, PZOO cracked into Pennyland, hitting a high of .0109! That totaled an intraday gain of 40%, and a very respectable overall intraweek spike of 122% from our observed low of .0049 on Monday.

We’ll have our eyes on the press wires for updates, and we’ll be sure to keep our readers updated on all the action.

Voltari Corp. VLTC

It was the middle of last week when we alerted VLTC in our morning report. We saw a low of 2.18 on Thursday morning, and the stock has trended up quite nicely since then.

By Monday afternoon it ran more than 115% up to a high of 4.73, and then yesterday the stock really exploded into blue skies.  An intraday run from 4.02-6.18 was good for gains of up to 54%, and this morning’s premarket high of 6.49 represents an overall increase of 198%

All in all, we’ve got to say that VLTC has been quite the performer over the past week.

Petroleo Brasiliero, S.A. (Petrobras) PBR – Options

Our ongoing coverage of the PBR options chain has been ceaselessly providing us with premium chances for profit. Our readers will recall that after a mountain of success with $6 and $6.50 Calls last week, earlier this week we rolled up our strike range slightly zeroing in on both Weekly and 05/01 $7 Calls.

Yesterday’s daily high of 7.56 provided sufficient leverage to catapult the Weekly $7 Calls to new impressive highs. The Weekly $7’s have traded in a range from .06-.66, an enormous 900% jump!

PBR is gapping up this morning, and for potential daytrading opportunities we’re going to focus upon both the $7.50 Weekly Calls, *and* $7.50 Weekly Puts, depending on which way momentum carries the trend.

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: ACGX, NEWL & Extended Watchlist

Alliance Creative Group, Inc. ACGX

The last time we looked in on ACGX was on May 15th, and the stock had just run into some resistance in the .006 area for the second time in as many weeks. Since then, we’ve been monitoring for a break of that key level on the chart, and it finally occurred yesterday during quite a fruitful session.

ACGX made a respectable intraday move from .0046 to .0064 on greater-than-average volume, giving traders the chance at rapid profits of up to 39%

The stock closed out the day having held the majority of its gains (.0058) so, as we go forward, we’d like to see it once again overtake the .006-level and hold support at or above that mark.

We haven’t had any updates from the company since it reported record revenues early this month, so we’re going to be watching the press wires closely. Alliance seems to make a habit of keeping its shareholders apprised of current events with regularity, so we wouldn’t be surprised to see an update come down the pipe in the relatively near future.

Recent Press:

Alliance Creative Group (ACGX) Reports Record Revenue of $3,299,009 for Q1 of 2014, a 34% Increase From Q1 of 2013 and Net Income of $326,796 for an Increase of 237% Compared to Q1 of 2013 (Mon, May 5)

Alliance Creative Group, Inc. (ACGX) Announces That It Will Be the Official Printing and Packaging Sponsor Along With Being a Presenter for the 1st Annual Cannabis Investor Conference in Denver, Colorado (Wed, Apr 30)

NewLead Holdings Ltd. NEWL

We’re glad that we re-mentioned NEWL in yesterday’s report despite the fact that it was already in the midst of a major run, because the stock kept on pushing its upper limits, running from a daily low of 2.40 all the way up to 3.81 marking an intraday move of 59%

This morning it appears as if NEWL wants to continue pushing the envelope, as it has reached as high as 4.20 in pre-market trading. That represents an overall move of 986% from the low of .3867 we observed just four sessions ago.

Granted the fact that we originally placed it on bottom-watch on May 9th, NEWL is definitely making its case for becoming one of our best bottom-plays of the year.

This morning’s pre-market high of 4.20 will be the area of resistance we’d like to see broken during today’s session.
