Blue Horseshoe: Pot Stocks Update & More

Pot Stocks Update

Even as we’ve had other things occupying our main focus, we’ve stated continuously that traders should keep the cannabis sector on close watch. Following the complete hysteria over the industry which reached its peak shortly after we rung in the new year, we’ve seen just what we expected; consolidations leading to bounces that in many cases have been good for gains approaching those achieved by the New Year’s rush. So let’s take a look at some of the more notable performers from our long-standing watchlist. These represent just a few of the opportunities that marijuana related stocks have continued to bring us. We are not done with this sector by any means, and feel strongly that it will yield more and more gains as time goes on.

ENDEXX Corp. EDXC

We’ve had EDXC on our radar for a very long time, and it is one that didn’t lose much ground at all after pulling back off of its initial surge. Beginning at less than seven cents, 2014 has seen the stock continue to bull its way upward, touching .235 yesterday. It’s certainly a far cry from when we first came upon the stock last year, back when it was trading at roughly .015.

Cannabis Science, Inc. CBIS

CBIS has made quite an impressive bounce after consolidating off of its big run, finding support at .075; from there, it launched itself back upward for a sizable move to yesterday’s high of .1255. That marks a three-session move of 67%

Creative Edge Nutrition, Inc. FITX

The last time we looked in on FITX was on January 14th, at which time the stock was searching for support, and found it at .0174 the following day. It didn’t take long for the stock to produce yet another huge run, touching .045 during yesterday’s session. It broke above an area of previous resistance at .031, so on the next downswing, we’ll be looking for FITX to hold that level as support.

We’ve already pointed out how powerful a signal the Golden Cross can be, and FITX is yet another prime example of this. That’s why we’ve been keeping such a keen eye on our next play, because it too has a Golden Cross in the making.

Resource Ventures, Inc. REVI

REVI held its ground very well yesterday, after our bounce-call on Tuesday took it from .0074-.0105. It registered a higher low at .0085, and managed to close out the day in the green at .009. We’d like to see REVI continue to hold support in the .0075-.0085 as it works toward its Golden Cross, which if the current trend holds, could potentially occur within the next week or two.

ARIAD Pharmaceuticals, Inc. ARIA & Hemishperix BioPharma, Inc. HEB

We’ve been tracking both of these pharma plays for awhile, which are worthy of mentioning this morning:

ARIA

We mentioned ARIA back in October when it was trading around its 52-week low at 2.15. In Mid-December, it began a run which yesterday resulted in a high of 6.75. This morning the stock is gapping up into the 7.30-range.

ARIA has been the subject of potential buyout rumors originating in the UK, with names like GlaxxoSmithKline being tossed around. While this remains speculation at this time, the ramifications of a buyout would be huge, so this is a story we’ll continue to follow.

HEB

In the case of HEB, we’ve tracked this play since December, where it found a bottom in the low .20’s, and has performed exceptionally well into the new year. Yesterday the stock hit a high of .4978.

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: Cannabis Update & More

Pot Stocks Update

On Friday, we surmised that the general consolidation after last week’s epic surge in the cannabis sector would lead to rebounds for many of the pot stocks that we’ve been tracking long-term, and were correct in our assumption. Not an especially impressive feat, considering the fact that we’ve seen the bottom-bounce scenario play out hundreds of times; it’s practically a law of nature.

The following are some of the more notable cannabis bounce-plays that we observed to start the week:

Transbyte Corp. ERBB

ERBB reached a bottom (.0057) Friday shortly after 10am, and has done a fine job of bouncing back. Yesterday we saw the stock trade as high as .0098, closing just one tick below at .0097 on more than thrice the 3-month average volume. That’s a 72% swing spanning consecutive sessions.

Hemp, Inc. HEMP

HEMP came down from its big run over eight cents to find support at .031, from which point it has found its way back up to .06. That rebound was good for gains as high as 94% Like ERBB, HEMP finished out Monday’s session near its high-of-day, closing at .0594.

Creative Edge Nutrition, Inc. FITX

FITX is one that has done exceptionally well with regard to holding most of its recent gains when it did pull back. If you recall, we witnessed a low of .0056 last Monday, and the consolidation off of its highs at .031 only took it as low as .0111. The stock has recovered nicely, pushing its way back to .0265 during yesterday’s session; a bounce-play worth gains of up to 139%

GreenGro Technologies, Inc. GRNH

Unsurprisingly, one of the biggest runners from the ‘Green Rush’ turned out one of the bigger bounces on its recovery. It came down from its highs well over a dollar, and bounced off of the .20-mark yesterday, only to rebound as high as .49, a 145% swing. This morning in pre-market trading it has poked its head back over fifty cents.

Growlife, Inc. PHOT

PHOT touched bottom at .18 on Friday, and as of yesterday had pushed its way back to a high of .293. That represents a 62% bounce. PHOT is holding its ground in early trading this morning.

SK3 Group, Inc. SKTO

SKTO dipped back to .0115 Friday, and followed the trend of recovery yesterday, achieving a price of .0235, marking a two-session swing of 104%

Other cannabis stocks that were on the rebound Monday included TRTC, AVTC & CANN

Rexhan Pharmaceuticals, Inc. RNN

It became apparent that RNN would continue its recent uptrend early-on yesterday. Even though we had already seen impressive gains amounting to nearly 200% in a range from .4026-1.19 up to that point, it continued to surge, reaching its peak at 1.85.

RNN is trading in the 1.40’s pre-market, so like the other massive gainers we’ve followed over the past week, we’ll be continuously monitoring for support and the potential for a subsequent bounce.

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: Pot Stocks Going Viral

The Green Rush ContinuesHemp stocks continue to grow like weeds this week, and it has become increasingly clear that the trending toward this sector has now gone beyond the realm of mere retail, and into the hard-hitting arena of institutional trading. In some of these high-flying stocks, we were seeing bids worth tens of thousands of dollars stack up like hotcakes, and volume was through the roof, pretty much across the board. We couldn’t have asked for a better start to 2014, or a more solid validation of the long years we’ve spent following tons of cannabis stocks. We feel as if the success we’ve found thus far is just a taste of what’s to come. Just look at the following scan of the most active OTC stocks yesterday. Every single one is on our long-term marijuana tracking list:

As you can see, it is getting extremely difficult to track the individual story of every winner, because practically all of them have been going bananas! As we had to do yesterday, we’ll just list out the most impressive performances:

GreenGrow Technologies, Inc. GRNH

If we were impressed by GRNH’s run from .045 to .55 earlier this week, then we were astounded to see this one bull its way over a dollar, topping out at 1.20!  The roughly 1100% gain we had already gotten out of GRNH turned into a massive 2566% change from it’s low of .045. It held more than 50% of the day’s gains, closing just below .80.

Creative Edge Nutrition, Inc. FITX

We saw a low of .0054 from FITX this week (Monday), and yesterday it just kept on moving. The stock bull-rushed up to a high of .03, a great 455% increase off of its low over just a three day period. Like alot of these plays, FITX closed strong, holding much of its ground at .0251.

Tranzbyte Corp. ERBB

ERBB was at .0026 early this week, and as of yesterday we’ve now followed it to a high of .0139. That’s a rapid gain of 435% The stock traded over 650M shares, shattering its 45M average.

Hemp, Inc. HEMP

HEMP was trading as low as .0153 when we tagged it in our report on New Year’s Eve. Yesterday’s frenzy carried it to .081, which represents an increase of 429%

Cannabis Science, Inc. CBIS

We’ve watched CBIS come off of its 52-wk lows (.028) in December, and it has been a bull-rush ever since. Yesterday’s high of .1185 equates to potential profits of up to 323%

Easton Pharmaceuticals, Inc. EAPH

We added EAPH to our blog in an update we published at 10:30am yesterday. At the time the stock had just begun to break out and was trading at .0041. Lucky for us, the breakout had only just begun. It would go on to touch a high of .0144 shortly before market-close, representing a single session gain of 251% from the low we caught.

SK3 Group, Inc. SKTO

Back in the fall, we tracked SKTO from the .013-range, and it made a push up toward .02. The stock has been as low as the .004-range as recently as late December. Yesterday, it would open just below a penny and run to more than three cents, joining the other pot related stocks in this mad-rush for profits.

GrowLife, Inc. PHOT

Our observed low of .157 (01/02) on PHOT was increased by 145% as the stock hit a high .385 yesterday. It’s amazing when you have to think of double-baggers as some  of the more mild performances, but that’s just what this green revolution has achieved.

Terra Tech Corp. TRTC

We observed a price of .193 on Tuesday in TRTC, and yesterday’s continued onslaught of buying pushed this one as high as .43. For anyone keeping track (We are!), that’s a two-day rip of 123%

AVT, Inc. AVTC

AVTC was new to our “weed watchlist” yesterday, and after a low of 4.48 the stock shot out of the gate like a rocket, zooming to a subsequent 8.00-high, a gain of 79% . After pulling back to 3.90, it then rebounded to 5.30, adding a 36% swing, and bringing cumulative gains on the day to 115%

If all that isn’t enough to make your head spin, then nothing will. Stay tuned for further reports, as the medical and legal marijuana story has only just begun to be written. We’ll be tracking these things closely for a long time to come.
