Massive CHWY Options Gains, Fresh Ideas & More

Earnings Reporters Put Up Big Gains:

Our earnings related options ideas for the day panned out well for us yesterday, with some help from another fully bullish session for the markets at large. Stocks surged all day, and well-received earnings reports from our target companies did the rest.

We were zeroed in on the CHWY Weekly $26.50-28 Calls and the PSTG Weekly $25-26 Calls, with a much longer term idea with an August expiration in the Energizer chain, which we’ll circle back to in a future report.  Our quick-strike plays yielded some very nice opportunities for quick intraday profits, and those were as follows:

CHWY Weekly $26.50-28 Calls
$26.50:
 .72-3.00 (+317%)
$27: .56-2.51 (+348%)
$27.50: .44-2.15 (+389%)
$28: .30-1.82 (+507%)
_____

PSTG Weekly $25-26 Calls
$25: 1.95-4.30 (+121%)
$26: 1.45-3.60 (+148%)

Fresh Options Ideas:

OKTA Weekly $106-108 Calls*
ASAN 06/17 $22.50 Puts

Ggtoor, Inc. (OTCMKTS:GTOR) – Recap:

GGTOOR was a company that we profiled a few months back, citing the high potential of tournament gaming, the space in which the company operates. GTOR recently announced the signing of a deal that is potentially very lucrative, and as a result the price has gone through the roof. It will be “building” an entire virtual city complete with its own economy in the metaverse, with parcels selling for cryptocurrency.

Following our reports on GTOR the stock was trading for as little as ,012, and this week it has soared to a new high of .074. That works out to an increase of over 500% It will be interesting for us to see how much of those gains the stock can maintain and possibly add onto as it develops its new metaverse-based project, GGTOORCITY.

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: ICLD, XGTI Recaps & More

InterCloud Systems, Inc. ICLD

ICLD stood out as a solid mover from yesterday’s premarket report. From a morning low of 3.01, the stock made an authoritative move on up to a high of 4.30 just prior to the closing bell.  That represents an increase of 43% on heavy volume to the tune of nearly 38X the three-month average. That figure has been extended to 46%  in the premarket today with the stock touching a high of 4.40 so far.

We’ll want to monitor ICLD for a sustained run; if it can manage higher highs and higher lows today, it would mark the third straight session. The boost it received yesterday was due, in part, to the announcement of a new product launch, the link to which we’ve included below.

InterCloud Systems Announces the Launching of NFVGrid, a Network Functions Virtualization Orchestration Platform (Mon, May 4)

xG Technology, Inc. XGTI

XGTI was another stock from yesterday’s report that made a significant move on the day. It saw a an early low of .40, and would go on to run toward the end of the session, hitting a high of .5474. That worked out to an intraday move of 37%

The stock managed to hold .54 into the close, and the performance came on volume exceeding the monthly average by more than 6X. Anytime we observe action of this kind, we want to be on the lookout for continued activity in subsequent sessions. Already in early trading today we’re seeing the beginnings of a dip-and-rip pattern. We’ll keep our eyes peeled for added chances to take advantage of this play.

OSL Holdings, Inc. OSLH

We tracked OSLH throughout the month of April, and we’re highly rewarded for our vigilance. Between April 2nd (Low: .0021) and April 15th (High: .0274) we witnessed an amazing 1294% run.

Toward the end of last week, OSLH found a bottom after pulling back off of that historic move, and began to rebound from the .0075-mark, and has definitely won back our attention. Yesterday’s session carried OSLH as high as .0144, a 92% swing. We’ll watch this play for the possibility of a protracted rebound off of Friday’s low.

PlasmaTech Biopharmaceuticals, Inc. PTBI

We pulled up PTBI on a routine scan today, and it’s a stock that has been invested in by activist investor George Soros, as we’ve learned in the PR out this morning.. Occasionally, we like to watch stocks that are in the portfolios of high-profile investors. Just last month we followed VLTC over a huge run that was fueled by the involvement of Carl Icahn.

The stock is already up significantly in early trading, and there’s a chance we could see a major gap on the chart up to the 5.50 area filled, so we’ll have this one on our radar for just such an event. We’ve pointed this out below; if PTBI can gain support at or above the 4.40-mark, we like its chances of making a nice run.

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: APPG, LULU, SCOK Updates & More

Apptigo International, Inc. APPG

We flagged APPG on August 25th after noticing that the stock was being subjected to a rapid sell-off, and was setting new 52-week lows. That period of consolidation continued over the past couple of weeks, as APPG finally found support just above .25 and began to bounce on Wednesday.

Yesterday we saw it recover nicely, briefly breaching the .40-mark before settling in to close at .38. The chart is exhibiting some signs of a premium-potential bottom play, so we’ll remain very interested in APPG provided it can hold support above .365 in order to break the pattern of its recent downtrend.

Lululemon Athletica, Inc. LULU Calls

Our options trading idea from yesterday’s newsletter was spot-on, with the dip-and-rip scenario we suggested playing itself out within the first twenty minutes of trading action. If you recall, we expected to see opportunities somewhere in the range of the $41-$43 Calls, and we weren’t disappointed.

The $42 Calls traded as low as 1.00 before ripping to a daily high of 3.38 (+238% intraday move), while the $43’s would trade up over an even more impressive span. Those saw a low of .59 and subsequent high of 3.02, making rapid gains of up to 411% a possibility.

Those were some serious opportunities, so a big cheer goes out to anyone who was able to take advantage.

SinoCoking Coal & Coke Chemical Industries, Inc. SCOK

SCOK, which has been a point of focus for us for most of this week, had another respectable day yesterday after we included in our extended watchlist. After a morning low of 5.60, the stock subsequently ran to 7.78, affording traders the chance to bag up to 39% in profits. Congratulations if you were among them!
