Blue Horseshoe Stocks: HAS Recap, Green Rush 2.0

Hasbro, Inc. HAS – Options Idea

Yesterday, after noticing the recording of new 6-month lows on HAS the day prior, coupled with a premarket earnings beat, we signaled a range of options ideas in our report.

Our targeted contracts were the HAS Weekly $79-81 Calls, with the stipulation that if the stock broke the $81-mark, that we’d correspondingly roll up our strike price a level. Based on the activity in HAS, there was literally no wrong answer, as all of the contracts mentioned provided us with a shot at excellent single-session gains.

$79.50 Calls – Range: 1.10-2.92 – Max Gain: 165%

Fresh Options Idea:

With NFLX beating on earnings yesterday post-market, we’ll signal a range of contracts to watch there as well. We’re particularly interested in tracking the NFLX Weekly $117-120 Calls.

The Start of Green Rush 2.0?

A couple of years ago, when marijuana stocks first began to emerge, and the march toward legalization in many places began, we termed it a ‘Green Rush’. It was a historical few months of exponential gains for anything even remotely tied to the cannabis space.

We’ve never stopped monitoring the sector, which, compared to practically any other, is still in its infancy. Recently, we’ve been reminding our readers to keep a keen eye as well, for if all things remain equal, it’s likely that California will become a recreational marijuana state in just a few week’s time. California is the most populous state in the country, and the proposed bill is more comprehensive than anything we’ve seen in the other states where prohibition laws have been scrapped. The ripple effect from the world’s sixth largest economy legalizing marijuana and its by-products will be significant indeed.

In fact, the effect of the anticipation is already kicking the tires on what could very well be Green Rush 2.0. Out of the top 14 traded stocks on yesterday’s scanner (pictured below) all but one have some link to the pot sector. Every last one of them are stocks that we’ve talked about in the past, and all of them (and more) will be high up on our working watchlist over the next several weeks.

We warned our readers of the first Green Rush before it kicked into full swing back in 2014, and we’ve been doing our best to do the same thing in advance of the forthcoming California vote on Prop 64, which should ultimately prove to be a real game-changer.

The symbols pictured above will also serve as today’s Extended Watchlist, in addition to FLDM, a declining stock that we want to put on bottom watch.

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: Weekly Wrap-Up & More

StrikeForce Technologies, Inc. SFOR

Our first order of business today is to update readers on the strong recent performance of SFOR; the stock has made a really nice move from its PPS following our most recent mention on 09/27 at .0083.

Yesterday it reached .0175, marking a 111% swing in just over two weeks’ time. We’ve been tracking SFOR closely since this spring, when we observed the stock trading as low as .0006. From that price point to yesterday’s new high represents an exponential increase of over 2800%

AngioSoma, Inc. SOAN

Yesterday was SOAN’s first ever appearance in our newsletters, and for a maiden mention, it ended up doing pretty well for us, with a solid intraday push.

The stock traded in a daily range from a low of .38 up to .50; a 32% run which occurred on volume which exceeded the monthly average by more than three times. It also closed at its high of day, a bullish occurrence which qualifies the stock for continued monitoring as a potential momentum play  as we prepare to close out another trading week.

Ruby Tuesday, Inc. RT – Update

Last Friday we signaled RT for both a potential bottom play and extended-term options call, and thus far it has panned out to a great idea in both respects. We called the bottom perfectly, seeing it trade as low as 2.08 that day, and inching its way up all week. Yesterday the stock reached a new high of 2.8599, marking a 37% move up.

That push allowed our options idea, the RT 11/18 $2.50 Calls, to make a fantastic move from a low of .05 up to .30. That works out to an even 500% rip, so congratulations to anyone who caught our timely alert and used it to their great advantage!

Fresh Options Idea: We want to draw attention to JP Morgan on the heels of their premarket earnings beat this morning, and assign an options trading idea to correspond accordingly. We’ll focus on the JPM Weekly $68-69.50 Calls for potential daytrades, but remember, trading weekly options on a Friday is a high-risk proposition that should only ever be attempted by expert traders.

Additionally, please note that if the stock breaks the 69.50 barrier, we may need to roll up our strike price to the $70 Calls.

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: AA Options Update & More

Alcoa, Inc. AA – Options Idea

We took the opportunity to target some AA puts yesterday morning after noticing a technically weak chart, combined with a let-down on the company’s earnings report. Post-earnings options ideas are quite simply one of our favorite ways to see rapid moves to the upside, and Alcoa was no exception to that rule.

Our specific targets were the AA Weekly $32-30 Puts, and every set of contracts within that range afforded us the chance at hefty single-session profits.

$32 Puts – Range: 2.64-3.77 – Max Gain: 43%
$31.50 Puts – Range: 1.93-3.59 – Max Gain: 86%
$31 Puts – Range: 1.57-3.98 – Max Gain: 153%
$30.50 Puts – Range: 1.16-2.58 – Max Gain: 122%
$30 Puts – Range: .65-2.11 – Max Gain: 225%

With the stock gapping down slightly in the premarket once again, we’ll be on the lookout for those ranges to be extended. Should the stock’s heavy decline continue, we’ll continue to track those, as well as explore the possibility of rolling down our strike prices to stay closer to the money.

BioStar Pharmaceuticals, Inc. BSPM

We want to circle back around to provide an update on the recent activity of BSPM, which we placed on watch back on the 15th of last month. We would subsequently observe a low of 2.54 the following morning, and after a steady stair-stepping performance in ensuing sessions, the stock went meteoric during trading yesterday.

It made an excellent 96% intraday push from 3.60 up to its new high of 7.06, which marked an overall increase of 178% above the low we witnessed just under a month ago. The move was catalyzed by the launch of the company’s rhinitis and sinusitis treatment in China; an absolutely huge market.

Extended-Term Options Ideas

We want to signal some longer-term options ideas for tracking in the weeks ahead on both Nike and Lululemon. NKE just registered new 52-week lows yesterday, while LULU has come down its lowest PPS since February. Therefore, we’d like to monitor the activity in the following options contracts.

Nike, Inc. NKE – 12/16 $50-57.50 Calls

Lululemon Athletica, Inc. LULU – 12/08 $55-62.50 Calls

Extended Watchlist:
AMMJ, ICBU, TNRG, RNN, CUDA
