Blue Horseshoe Stocks: Friday’s Movers, New Ideas & More

Friday’s Notable Moves

Each of the following plays exhibited appreciable upswings on Friday afternoon after having appeared in our reports for the day and days prior. We’ll have each of these stocks on watch for the possibility of continued momentum this morning:

Nate’s Food Co. NHMD

NHMD covered the most ground as it traded in a range from .0019-.0035 on Friday, running 84% intraday and closing at the high of day on volume to the tune of well over five times its 3-month average. We’ll certainly have an eye out for further activity as we open things up on this holiday-shortened trading week.

Guided Therapeutics, Inc. GTHP

We latched onto GTHP early last week and would see a nice little two-day run from the stock to finish it out. Our observed low came on Thursday at .0102, which gave way to a subsequent high of .015 on Friday, marking an overnight increase of 47%

Sparta Commercial Services, Inc. SRCO

SRCO was a steady climber on Friday which traversed its way from .0025 to .0031 over the course of the day, which represents a modest yet notable 24% rise. It too qualifies for sustained monitoring as a possible momentum play, having closed at its high mark for the session.

ProGreen Properties, Inc. PGEI

We want to put PGEI on our radars this morning as well, not only for the momentous session it had on Friday, but also due to the content of the PR released by the company early this morning.

Following up from a release they put out in January, the company announced the completion of a joint venture agreement that puts them on track to develop a 300-acre property of proposed farmland in Baja California, Mexico in time for this year’s growing season. We’ll be interested to follow along for further updates on that project as well as watch the chart for short-term opportunities.

SPDR S&P 500 ETF (SPY) – Options Idea

On Friday the markets enjoyed the biggest single-session rally since 2009. With oil rebounding as well, and the S&P having demonstrated a definitive reversal over the past couple of sessions, we’ll want to start the week off  monitoring some SPY Options. Our target area is going to be the SPY Weekly $188-191 Calls.

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: PSID Update, SCTY Recap & More

PositiveID Corp. PSID

Our first order of business this morning is to go back and highlight the significant news from PSID yesterday concerning one of its recently acquired subsidiaries. Our regular readers will certainly recall from our initial report on PositiveID, that the company had completed the acquisition of Thermomedics and its  FDA-cleared Caregiver® non-contact infrared thermometer back in December (>>View PR).

Yesterday it was announced that five new healthcare product distribution firms had been added to its client roster for the Caregiver thermometer. We believe the reason the product has been able to catch on so quickly is largely due to the potential savings it offers healthcare facilities over more traditional thermometer technology. Thermometer covers cost money, and expend resources in their storage and disposal. The Caregiver, being totally non-contact, eliminates the need for covers along with their associated costs.

According to the company, the new agreements will effect “sequential monthly sales growth” and open up “near-term pipeline opportunities” for Thermomedics, which was already producing notable revenue prior to the announcement. This also represents excellent progress in terms of  PSID’s plans for growth in 2016.

SolarCity Corp. SCTY – Options Recap

With so much else to talk about yesterday morning, we had to hold off on congratulating any of our subscribers who caught our red-hot options idea for SCTY Weekly $19-17 Puts in Wednesday morning’s report.

We called for “potential intraday/intraweek swing-trade chances” in those contracts, and as is often the case when we set our sights upon a range of options ideas, every single strike point yielded ridiculously huge gain opportunities. The ranges provided represent Wednesday’s observed lows to yesterday’s closes at the highs-of-day.

$19 Puts – Trading Range: .26-2.35 – Max Gain: 804%
$18 Puts – Trading Range: .16-1.79 – Max Gain: 1018%
$17 Puts – Trading Range:  .06-1.11 – Max Gain: 1750%

Although it was an astonishingly good two-day play, SCTY is rebounding in the premarket today so it’s time to move on from this particular idea. Still, cheers to anyone who got in on the fun while it lasted!

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: SVTE, SALE Updates & More

Service Team, Inc. SVTE

We placed SVTE on watch in Tuesday morning‘s report and have been rewarded with an amazing two-day run that has carried it from subpenny territory, straight into Pennyland.

The move we observed on Tuesday was a relatively modest 41% from the low of .0039 to the closing price of .0055, but yesterday, things really kicked into high gear.

SVTE opened up at that .0055 price-point and took off like a bat out of hell, reaching its impressive new high of .0188 shortly before 1PM. It marked an excellent intraday upswing of 242%, and boosted our two-session observed range to a laudable 382% Cheers to anyone who caught a piece of the action!

Pocket Games, Inc. PKGM

We’ve been exceedingly pleased with PKGM’s performance in the couple of weeks we’ve been tracking the stock, after having observed more than a 560% swing.

Yesterday brought yet another chance to make quick-strike profits off of this play from the outset of the session, as it quickly performed a dip-and-rip from the daily low of .0128 to the high of .0195 (+52%) in the first half hour of trading.

A secondary opportunity was afforded to those that continued to watch intently as PKGM came down to find support and make a solid rebound from .014 back to .018 in the closing minutes of the session. That amounted to an added 29% swing, and the stock closed just a tick below at .017. We’ll look for it to maintain support above yesterday’s swing-low in order for it to keep our interest moving forward.

RetailMeNot, Inc. SALE

We also want to provide a quick update on SALE, which we tagged as a bottom-watch play in yesterday’s premarket report. After taking an absolute beating over a poor earnings release, our timing in calling the bottom couldn’t have been much better as is evident on the snapshot below.

We’ve had luck in the past with stocks in these situations where investor disappointment leads to a knee-jerk selloff.  We’re going to leave SALE on our radars in the sessions to come, on the possibility that a protracted rebound is forthcoming.

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: Tuesday’s Stellar Session & More

Tuesday’s Winning Selections

Yesterday, we had just about the most successful day of 2016 so far in terms of the sheer number of red-hot movers we tagged in our premarket report. We went from the monumental options success of earlier sessions, to spotting some prime opportunities in the stock arena.

Agritek Holdings, Inc. AGTK

We let our readers know they could expect “some potential bounceplay action” from AGTK yesterday after we had tracked it over a 100% pop (.003-.006) and subsequent pullback toward the end of the previous session. We got exactly the type of behavior we expected from the stock, as AGTK piled on another excellent performance.

The stock traded in a daily range from .0032-.0048 for a solid 50% intraday surge, and unlike the previous day’s activity, it managed to hold a vast majority of the day’s advance into the close.

__________

Dominovas Energy Corp. DNRG

DNRG has appeared in our reports repeatedly in the past and after re-tagging it in yesterday’s watchlist, we were pleased to see the subsequent activity in the stock. It traded up from a daily low of .024, going to hit .035 for a 46% intraday upswing.

Like the aforementioned play, it too demonstrated strength into the market close, ending on its high-of-day and thus qualifying it to remain on our radars as a possible momentum play.

__________

Pocket Games, Inc. PKGM

No sooner than we got the chance to congratulate readers who caught our alert of PKGM the Friday before last on the amazing run it produced (.0031-.013, +319%), did the stock turn in yet another winning card.

From its low-of-day at .0105, the stock took off on a run from which it did not look back as it surged past the two-cent mark to log a high of .0205. That worked out to an intraday romp of 95% and extended our total observed range on PKGM to 561% in just a week-and-a-half! The move came on the heels of some acquisition news (>>View PR)

__________

Steampunk Wizards, Inc. SPWZ

Last but not least among our excellent selections from yesterday’s morning report was SPWZ. This was a first-time mention for us, and the stock provided a heck of an introduction!

We watched as SPWZ launched from an early low of .25 and ended up at a high of .44 for possible intraday gains up to 76% Like each of the previously mentioned plays, it held a healthy amount of that advance into the close.

SolarCity Corp. SCTY – Options Idea

We took notice of SCTY’s earnings miss today and immediately were struck with a potential options idea. The stock, which has already been under duress all this month, looks set to get kicked once again.

The activity is fueling our attraction to the possibilities that could be provided by the SCTY Weekly $19-17 Puts. We’ll throw these up on our tracking board for potential intraday/intraweek swing-trade chances.

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: Yesterday’s Top Movers & More

Yesterday’s Top Movers

Agritek Holdings, Inc. AGTK

Yesterday’s session brought a couple of chances for nice intraday gains from stocks placed on our premarket watchlist, starting with AGTK. We’ve had this one on our radar in the past, and turning our attention back to it yesterday ended up being a great idea.

Starting out from its opening price of .003, AGTK made a nice, round, 100% rip up to the high of day at .006 which occurred around lunchtime. The stock ended up receding back to a new daily low into the close, so we’ll definitely continue to monitor it for some potential bounceplay action.
__________

Guided Therapeutics, Inc. GTHP

Also among the most solid plays from yesterday’s report was GTHP, which managed a respectable intraday swing of 32% on roughly three times the monthly average trading volume as it ran from .0128-.0169. That also represented a bullish breach of the 50DMA. Couple that with the expansion of the LuViva® Advanced Cervical Scan, revenues from which the company expects to fall into the $3-5M range for 2016, and we’ll be keeping GTHP on an extended-term watch.
__________

Pocket Games, Inc. PKGM

We’d like to provide an update on a play that we signaled for observation the Friday before last,  as its progress over the last half-dozen sessions has been quite notable. We caught PKGM trading at a low of .0031 subsequent to our alert on 01/29, and the stock has continually pushed to new highs, culminating in a .013 high-of-day yesterday.  That amounts to a 319% upswing in a relatively short period of time, so we’ll definitely keep PKGM in our sights moving forward.

Facebook, Inc. FB – Continued Options Success

Our continued tracking of  FB Feb 19th $109-105 Puts which we initially signaled in Thursday morning’s report continued to pay dividends in each of the ensuing sessions, and yesterday was no exception. Our bearish feelings on FB continued to ring true, as the gap we highlighted on the chart down into the $97-range was filled. As a result, we witnessed new highs on each of our observed contracts.
