Blue Horseshoe Stocks: ATOS Recap & More

Atossa Genetics, Inc. ATOS

We’re coming back to ATOS for the third consecutive day this week, after our initial alert in Monday’s report, and on that morning we observed a low of .50, followed by a modest but solid run 27% to .636.

We mentioned this yesterday morning, subsequent to which point the stock launched into another bullish session. dwarfing Monday’s performance. It traded from a low of .65 right at the outset, to an afternoon high of 1.50, which works out to an intraday upswing of 130% and a two-day swing of 200%

We were also reminding readers of the conference call the company has scheduled for 10AM this morning at www.atossagenetics.com.
.

Caterpillar, Inc. CAT

Our post-earnings beat options ideas for CAT yesterday morning were the CAT Weekly $136-141 Calls. While every set of contracts did see upward movement, we’re only going to list the numbers for the $136-138’s, as the gains in the $139-141’s were minimal by comparison. We did however, see two separate chances for swing trades on the day.

$136 Calls – Swings: 2.75- 4.03 (+ 47%), 2.00-3.04 (+52%).
$137 Calls – Swings: 2.05-3.20, (+56%), 1.38-2.21 (+60%).
$138 Calls – Swings: 1.60-2.42 (+51%), .91-1.55 (+70%).

Fresh Idea: Walgreens Boots-Alliance Inc. WBA

We noticed WBA this morning on the premarket earnings calendar, and in addition to exceeding expectations with their quarterly report, the stock was already looking ripe for a bottom bounce.

We’re going to signal the WBA Weekly $69-70.50 Calls for observation for the remainder of the week.

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: CAT Breakout & More

PetMed Express, Inc. PETS

We signaled a longer-term options idea for PETS yesterday which needs some time to ripen, but with the solid move in the stock itself, we figured we’d recap its performance since our initial alert on it six weeks ago.

We caught PETS at a low of 32.90, which makes its 43% run to 46.94 this week that much more impressive. For a thirty-dollar stock to gain more than a third of its value in a matter of just a few weeks, is no small feat.

We’ll continue to keep our selected options, the PETS 11/17 $40-50 Calls on watch over the next few weeks.

Caterpillar, Inc. CAT

Speaking of high dollar stocks that we’ve alerted and then gone on to see impressive gains, we’ve got CAT in our sights again this morning after a solid earnings beat. We’re going to want to highlight some options ideas here as well, but first, let’s talk about the incredible bullish run of Caterpillar this year.

We were talking about this stock back in March, and that same month, the stock traded for as little as 90.34, and has essentially been in a continual uptrend ever since. Measured to this morning’s new premarket high of 141.98, it represents an increase of 57% in just over six months.

As for the options we’ll want to track on the heels of CAT’s earnings beat this morning, we’ll be looking at the CAT Weekly $136-141 Calls.

Atossa Genetics, Inc. ATOS

We’d also like to quickly recap the respectable intraday performance recorded by ATOS following our alert on the stock yesterday morning.

From an early low of .50, ATOS ran to .636 for a solid 27% move which came on more than three times the monthly average volume.

On a side note, the company has also announced that it will hold a conference call tomorrow morning at 10am EDT to discuss preliminary results from the Phase I study of its proprietary oral Endoxifen, an active metabolite of the FDA-approved breast cancer drug tamoxifen. The conference call will be available through a live webcast at www.atossagenetics.com so we’ll be sure to tune in for that.

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: QURE Recap & More

uniQure N.V. QURE

We included QURE in our premarket report on Thursday, after the company’s hemophilia gene therapy treatment was advanced to Phase III testing.

What followed was an enormous influx of volume, and two really solid, bullish sessions, advancing from a low of 11.55 on Thursday to a new high of 19.34 on Friday. That works out to a very respectable two-day swing of 67%

It’s the highest PPS QURE has attained since 2015, and the two sessions come in at numbers 1 and 2 highest volume days of all time, so we’d say our alert was timed with absolute precision.

Organovo Holdings, Inc. ONVO

We included ONVO in Friday morning’s extended watchlist, and it also put up a pretty good performance on the day.

From a low of 1.45, the stock traded as high as 1.80 on fairly heavy volume. We’ll want to see the stock continue to establish higher highs and higher lows as it’s coming off of its bottom.

PetMed Express, Inc. PETS

We’d like to signal a post-earnings options idea for PETS this morning, after the company set new records with its Q2 numbers. It’s gapping up significantly in the premarket, and the volume it traded on Friday leading into the release was the highest all month.  We’re going to put the PETS 11/17 $40-50 Calls on watch moving forward.

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: Fresh Options Ideas & More

First we’d like to apologize for our email list members for the absence of yesterday’s premarket report. Our service provider was shut down for the most of the day rendering us unable to send our daily report via email. This is an exceedingly rare event, but in these cases, you can always bookmark and visit BlueHorseshoeStocks.com just before market open, as all of our newsletters are archived there for easy reference.

Alcobra Ltd. ADHD

We did include ADHD in yesterday’s report, but since many of readers happened to miss it, we’ll back up to the next most recent mention, when we alerted the stock on September 29th.

The stock did see sub-1.00 prices that day, but took a couple more sessions to see its low of .96. Since then ADHD has been on a steady run-up, culminating in a new high of 2.17, which represented a very nice 127% move in a three week period.

PayPal Holdings, Inc. PYPL

We want to highlight a range of options for PYPL after the company posted its quarterly earnings after market close yesterday. The stock has been on a nearly continual rise all year long, and in premarket trading today, PYPL shares have rocketed into blue skies, setting a new annual high with each uptick.

As we often do in these post-earnings beat gap-up situations, we’ll identify a set of options contracts in the PYPL chain to observe as things kick off this morning, in this case, the PYPL Weekly $71-72.50 Calls* for potential quick strike trades today.

*Important: Never trade options with a weekly expiration on a Friday unless you’re an expert trader with disposable funds. It’s extremely risky.

AcelRx Pharmaceuticals, Inc. ACRX

ACRX recently fell off a cliff after the FDA rejected the company’s NDA for its Dsuvia drug, however ACRX believes it can meet the accompanying guidelines to eventually submit a successful application. We did alert that event in last Friday’s report, and meanwhile, the stock is gapping up this morning after having seen and bounced off of new annual lows yesterday.

Recovering even a fraction of the ground it lost last week, could spell significant upswings for ACRX in coming sessions.

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: Updates, Options & More

First thing’s first- we have a few of updates from our premarket report on Tuesday, that we held over until today in favor of the Special Report which we published yesterday.

Neothetics, Inc. NEOT

One of the real standouts from our premarket report on Tuesday morning turned out to be NEOT, which stair-stepped its way steadily up the chart all day long.

From its low of .83, the stock traded up as high as 1.99, which worked out to an intraday increase of 140% and the move occurred on extremely high volume, to the tune of more than 85X the monthly average.

Yesterday, NEOT transitioned into consolidation mode off of that impressive high, so we’ll be monitoring it for support, because the recent volatility suggests that a significant rebound could ensue.

 TransEnterix, Inc. TRXC

We caught TRXC on Monday after it was reported that the company’s robotic surgery device got regulatory approval. The result was a very nice run from a low of  2.15 to 3.05 (+42%) on that day. Tuesday, we mentioned that we’d be on the lookout for further gains, and the stock did go on to hit new highs.

Tuesday TRXC ran from 3.28 all the way up to an even 5.00, an intraday gain of 52% and an overall increase of 133% from our observed low at the beginning of this week.

Yesterday, much like NEOT, TRXC began to pull back, and so we’ll also want to continuie watching this one for a potential dip-and-rip type formation.

Firefish, Inc. FRFS – Chatroom Call

FRFS was .0047 when we alerted it our trader’s chatroom on Tuesday morning. As of yesterday’s high of .077, we had witnessed a mind-blowing two-day swing of 1538% With the kind of price action and volatility we’ve seen exhibited by FRFS in the past two days, we’ll definitely want to keep our eyes peeled for further activity.

This play is another good example of why we encourage our members to get involved with this aspect of our daily activities. Ideas that come to us after 9AM Eastern don’t make it into our premarket reports, so the chats are your way to keep up with what’s moving in real time.

These Skype-based live chats are open to any of our readers. Just send a contact request to the username “stocksumo”.

Ulta Beauty, Inc ULTA – Options Idea

We’re looking at ULTA as a potential recovery play into the holiday season, as the stock just bounced off of a new annual low this week. Last week, a huge block of insider buying came in, on the order of more than $21M.

For some extended-term recovery ideas, we’re going to signal  and track the ULTA 12/01 $202.50-212.50 Calls and the 12/15 $210-225 Calls.
