Blue Horseshoe Stocks: MJMI Recap, Options Idea & More

MarilynJean Interactive, Inc. MJMI

Our first order of business this morning is to rehash the recent performance of what has become one of our best picks of this month on the stock side of things. We first alerted MJMI exactly three weeks ago on the 4th, and would subsequently observe a low of .091 the very next session, from which the stock hasn’t looked back.

Volume has been excellent during the entire fifteen-session span that we’ve tracked the stock, and yesterday MJMI reached an amazing new high of .575. That works out to a fantastic increase of 532% in a relatively short time. A quick peek at the chart below shows the incredible move clearly.

In the event of a pullback off of this latest spike, we’ll be looking for the stock to maintain support at or above the 200DMA of .353.

Xtera Communications, Inc. XCOM

We’re always on the lookout for a good bottom-bouncer, and it appears that we’ve found an interesting candidate this morning, which has just undergone a crazy 48 hours.

The stock made a huge run yesterday off of its recently established annual lows, filling the gap on the chart and then some, before settling into close in the fifty-cent range. This morning in the premarket we’ve seen the stock changing hands in the .60-.74 range, so we’re very interested to see how the activity will unfold in-session.

We’ll want to see this morning’s premarket low of .60 hold as support on any pullbacks.

Boston Therapeutics, Inc. BTHE

We also want to provide a quick update on BTHE today, which was a mention in yesterday’s extended watchlist.

Despite not seeing any liquidity in the early part of the morning, eventually the wheels began to turn, and we saw a nice afternoon run from .125 to .17; an intraday upswing of 36%

Fresh Options Idea: Tiffany & Co. Just beat on earnings this morning, so we’ll be montioring the TIF Weekly $71-74 Calls for potential daytrades and/or swing trades into tomorrow.

Extended Watchlist:
NYMX, RGIN, NTEK, AXMM, SPHS, NETE

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: FPVD Recap & More

Force Protection Video Equipment Corp. FPVD

FPVD found its way back to our reports yesterday morning, and followed up by producing a notable intraday move on the day.

We were afforded the opportunity to realize single-session gains of up to 64% as the stock traded from an early low of .0168, and ran toward the end of the day, achieving a high of .0275 on more than four times the one-month average volume.

We’ll keep a watch over this play as we head through midweek, looking for it to make a run at its next key resistance point at .036, however it will need to maintain support at or above .015 in order to hold our interest.

MarilynJean Interactive, Inc. MJMI

MJMI continues to earn itself mentions in our reports since tagging it for the first time just under two weeks ago. It’s been on a fairly steady climb for the entire time since.

Yesterday the stock traded in a range from .27 on up to another new high at .40. That works out to an intraday gain of 48% which occurred on volume exceeding the monthly average by three times.

From our observed low of .091 which was recorded on the 5th, MJMI has now made an overall increase of 340% and earned itself a continued slot on our working watchlist.

Aurinia Pharmaceuticals, Inc. AUPH

We also want to make mention of AUPH, which is a stock we’ve noticed starting to make a move off of a recent bottom. We like the chart’s look of rebound potential with a massive gap to fill, so we’ll put this one on the radar as well.

The stock briefly toyed with the 200DMA yesterday, and we’ll be looking for it to make a move back through the channel between there and the 50DMA of 3.03 en route to filling that gap.

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: Updates, Options Review & More

El Capitan Precious Metals, Inc. ECPN

After observing a low of .1222 in ECPN subsequent to our alert on Wednesday, the stock has done nothing but show steady increases each day since.

Yesterday’s session brought an intraday move of 42% as the stock ran from .193-.275. That new high represents an overall increase of 125% in the four sessions since we began tracking.

Yesterday we stated that ECPN was receiving a rare 100% ‘Buy’ Rating at BARCHART.COM and that remains true this morning.

JC Penney Co. Inc. JCP – Options Update

Our options trading idea from Friday, the JCP 08/19 $9.50-10.50 Calls ended up having another great session for us to start the week yesterday. We mentioned that we’d be on the lookout for those plays to continue the momentum from Friday, when they afforded us gains ranging from 164-640%

It was a good thing that we did, because the three sets of contracts went on to not only make nice intraday moves, but a couple of them also extended our overall observed gains from the previous session by a significant margin.

$9.50 Calls – Range: 1.11-1.76  – Intraday: 59% – Two-Day: 300%
$10 Calls – Range: .63-1.31 – Intraday: 108% – Two-Day: 719%
$10.50 Calls – Range: .30-.83 – Intraday: 177%

MarilynJean Interactive, Inc. MJMI

We’ve been tracking MJMI since early this month, and the stock has performed quite well, mostly experiencing upward momentum during that time.

Our observed low on the play came in at .091 back on the 5th, and as of yesterday’s new high of .30 we had borne witness to an increase of 230%

Innovativ Media Group, Inc. INMG

INMG came off of yesterday’s watchlist, and the stock made a nice move on the day. From a low of .00475, it reached as high as .007 for a solid 47% jump, which occurred on roughly six and a half times the monthly average volume.

Extended Watchlist:
PEFF, NNLX, ELED, FPVD, BTGI, SFOR

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: WOLV Video Chart, Options & More

Wolverine Technologies Corp. WOLV

We want to place WOLV on watch this morning for a couple of reasons. Apart from coming off of a recent support level and showing some bottom-bounce activity, we also like the involvement of David Chalk, formerly of the TV show, Tech Talk with David Chalk.

David recently signed a purchase agreement with the company, with plans for him to come on board as a tech consultant once the transaction is completed, so someone of his notoriety putting skin in the game on WOLV definitely gets our attention. And, as we said, the stock is also interesting from a technical standpoint.

View the following video presentation of the chart going over what makes WOLV an attractive play at the moment:

Solid Picks From Yesterday

We had a couple of the stock ideas from yesterday morning’s premarket report pan out for some good intraday moves:

Worlds, Inc. WDDD
– Trading Range: .017-.029 – Gain: 71%

MarilynJean Interactive, Inc. MJMI –
Trading Range: .205-.255 – Gain: 24%

Added Note: We’ve been tracking Intermolecular, Inc. IMI since Wednesday and it has made small increases, reaching higher highs each day. We want to continue to watch this multi-day mover.

Macy’s Inc. M – Options Update

We reminded our readers yesterday of just how adept we’ve become at spotting prime options trading opportunities on the heels of impressive earnings calls, and Macy’s was ultimately a fantastic target for us in that regard.

We specified a target range that included seven sets of contracts, and multi-bag single-session moves were made by every single one of them! Our selections, the M Weekly $36.50-39.50 Calls, turned out the following gains on the day:

$36.50 Calls
– Range:  1.81-3.76 – Max Gain: 108%
$37 Calls – Range: 1.55-3.30 – Max Gain: 113%
$37.50 Calls – Range: 1.23-2.61 – Max Gain: 112%
$38 Calls – Range: .74-2.35 – Max Gain: 218%
$38.50 Calls – Range: .25-1.55 – Max Gain: 520%
$39 Calls – Range: .26-1.40 – Max Gain: 438%
$39.50 Calls – Range: .18-.97 – Max Gain: 439%

Fresh Options Ideas:

We also want to keep a close eye on a couple of other earnings-related plays. Both JC Penny’s (JCP) and Nordstrom’s (JWN) have beaten expectations on the Street, so we’re going to have some ideas standing at the ready for each of them:

JCP 08/19 $9.50-10.50 Calls

JWN 08/19 $50-55 Calls

Extended Watchlist:
DFSH, SNWV, TREP, WTII, ALJ, GBR

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: Options, Bottom-Plays & More

MarilynJean Interactive, Inc. MJMI

We want to circle back around to a play we tagged for observation last week. MJMI has been making a good deal of progress, showing upward momentum over the past couple of sessions.

Subsequent to our mention of the stock we took note of a .091 low (Friday), and after a couple days on the upswing, MJMI reached a high of .216 yesterday afternoon. It represents a three session-swing amounting to 137%

We’ll want to see the stock maintain support at or above the 50DMA at .16 on any pullbacks in order to remain interested.

Potential Momentum Plays

Each of the following stocks represents the possibility for continued momentum coming into this morning’s sessions. Both closed just a shade under their respective highs-of-day, and will be placed on watch as we cruise through midweek.

CollabRx, Inc. RNVA – We’re no strangers to this stock, which is in the midst of filling a sizable gap on the chart that presently runs from current PPS levels in the mid-to-upper .30’s, on up to around .47.

Yesterday RNVA hit a high of .39 before closing just below at .37. We’re looking for the stock to produce its fourth consecutive session of higher highs and higher lows today.
______

Intermolecular, Inc. IMI – IMI is new to our reports this morning, and qualifies as both a bottom-bouncer as well as a potential momo-play. It also ended up closing with strength, just a hair shy of its daily high yesterday.

It comes less than a week removed from a big PPS dropoff, so we’ll be on the lookout for the stock to continue this rebound and regain some of the ground it has lost over the past week or so.

Tempur Sealy International, Inc. TPX – Options Update

We also want to provide a quick update on the TPX longer-term options idea that we’ve been tracking for over a week now. We were initially interested in the TPX 08/19 $70-80 Calls. The $70’s have since been pushed too deep in the money, but over the past week both the $75’s and $80’s have performed quite well:

$75 Calls – Range: 1.91-4.50 – Max Gain: 135%
$80 Calls – Range: .38-1.35 – Max Gain: 255%

We’ll continue to track these plays leading into their expiration next Friday.
