Blue Horseshoe Stocks: DGLY Update & Much More

Digital Ally, Inc. DGLY

For the third consecutive session yesterday, our coverage of DGLY yielded the opportunity for significant gains as the stock once again posted higher lows and higher highs on dramatically higher-than-average volume. (More than 12x higher than the one month average)

The stock began the week on a very strong note, trading in an impressive range from its early morning low of 8.75 all the way up to 14.75 shortly before 3PM. That represents a steady intraday move of 68% and at that high, our total possible gains on this stock over a three session period from the low we observed Thursday (5.75) stood at 156%

This has been an excellent short-term play for us, so we want to congratulate anyone who was able to take advantage of our timely alerts.

Drone Aviation Holding Corp. DRNE

We included a mention of DRNE once again yesterday, after its inclusion in Friday’s report led us to the chance to make up to 24% in gains from .89-1.10. The stock responded with another nice performance, and registered higher lows and higher highs on the day.

DRNE traded in a range from 1.09-1.30, a 19% intraday gain, and that high marked a 46% move up off of the low we observed when we tagged this play on Friday.

LabStyle Innovations Corp. DRIO

DRIO was a play we were monitoring yesterday, as anyone who stopped by our blog at BlueHorseshoeStocks.com and took a look at our daily stock tracker would have noticed. The stock is coming across as a bottom-bouncer, which hit its 52-week lows in the nickel-range yesterday, and has already begun a healthy rebound, pushing its way back over .08.

Significant volume is pouring through the stock for the first time in quite awhile, with yesterday’s session setting an all-time record, so DRIO will definitely be one we want to keep an eye on moving forward as it continues its recovery.

DRIO also provides an excellent example of why its always a good idea to visit Blue Horseshoe daily even if you’ve already read our morning report in your inbox. Occasionally the content will be updated between the publishing of our morning reports and the opening bell, and visiting the site is the only way to catch those periodic and unannounced changes.

We also have a Live Trading Chatroom that we participate in, the Legends of Wall Street, which you can check out  free for a limited time only. CLICK HERE to go there, and use the password “bluehorseshoe” to enter.

Petroleo Brasiliero S.A. (Petrobras) PBR

PBR hit new highs yesterday cracking the $18-mark, and lending further credence to our long term options-trading idea that we put forth last week; the January 17th $19 Calls. Those contracts have edged their way up from a low of 1.23 on Friday, and hit 1.64 during yesterday’s session, which marks a modest yet significant session-over-session increase of 33%

We expect the possible gains on those Calls to inflate even further as they draw nearer to their expiration if PBR can continue to follow its recent patterns.

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: WAVX, APP, HEMP & Extended Watchlist

Wave Systems Corp. WAVX

WAVX hits our radar this morning as a fresh news play that is currently gapping up in pre-market trading. It will be worth putting this one on our radar in the event that the stock continues to run. The news is regarding a collaboration between WAVX, and Micron Technology, Inc. (Nasdaq:MU).

BOISE, Idaho and LEE, Mass., April 15, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Micron Technology, Inc. (MU), a global leader in advanced semiconductor systems, and Wave Systems Corp. (WAVX), a leading provider of endpoint security, today announced they are expanding their relationship to develop solutions designed to strengthen user protection against current and emerging threats to compute and embedded platforms. >> FULL PR

American Apparel, Inc. APP

Now is the time of year when we begin speculating on the positioning of APP; our coverage of this stock goes back to 2011. Traditionally this stock performs well heading into the heavy retail season which lasts from summer through the holidays.

The stock has recently come down to a relative low just below the fifty-cent mark, and has a gap on the chart (as you can see below) to .58.

As is usually the case when we bring this play into the conversation, this is more of a long-term watchlist item that we like to continuously monitor for opportunities over extended periods of time.

Hemp, Inc. HEMP

On the heels of its announcement of record-setting revenues, HEMP made a significant move after we featured it in yesterday’s morning report.

After opening up at .085, the stock rapidly shot up roughly 18% to a dime, before running into resistance. We’d like to see the stock hold support at or above the .075 range to keep things interesting.

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: PBR Options, Cannabis Updates

Petroleo Brasiliero SA (Petrobras) PBR – Options

We first began tracking the PBR options chain one week ago today (03/21), and at that time, the May 2nd $12 Calls that we pointed out were trading as low as .31. With the exception of a marginal pullback on Wednesday, PBR has been in a recovery uptrend since recently touching its all-time lows, and that has allowed us to see some excellent gain opportunities.

Yesterday brought more new highs as the $12 Calls closed at a new high of 1.10, a 255% gain from our initial alert low. Since there is plenty of time before their expiration, we will stay interested in these contracts, with the continued recovery of PBR’s share price.

For some intraday opportunities we may consider moving up our strike price, and checking out the $12.50, or even the $13 Weekly Calls. In the event of another breakout-type session, we could possibly go as high as the $13.50’s. It’s always about being pushed in the money when we’re looking at our potential strike prices.

Surna, Inc. SRNA

SRNA is a stock to recently wake up from the dead, and like so many other new interests we’ve found, has been gaining ground on the strength of its entry into the increasingly trendy marijuana space.

That alone would have been cause to keep an eye on this stock moving forward. Another reason  SRNA has garnered a spot on our watchlist, is that per this morning’s PR, it’s now headed up by Zynga co-founder Tom Bollich. It will be interesting to see what someone of his expertise can bring to the rapidly burgeoning cannabis market.

Today’s News:
BOULDER, CO–(Marketwired – Mar 28, 2014) – Surna Inc. (OTCQB: SRNA), a company focused on the acquisition of cannabis industry related intellectual property, disruptive technologies, assets and scalable operating companies, today announced it has closed a merger with Safari Resource Group, Inc.

In conjunction with the transaction, Tom Bollich, visionary technologist and co-founder of San Francisco-based gaming company Zynga, has joined Surna as chief executive officer and a member of the Board of Directors. Additionally, the Company has appointed two other senior executives, Doug McKinnon and Tae Darnell, to its Board. >> FULL PR

Tranzbyte Corp. ERBB
Although it has been on our radar since 2012, we began talking about ERBB more heavily at the start of the “Green Rush”, which coincided with the beginning of trading in 2014.

At the time, we observed a low of .0026, and to say the stock has gone on to make massive gains is quite an understatement.  As of its recent high of .113, we were looking at an overall move of 4246% In a span of roughly three months, that is an unbelievable gain opportunity.

ERBB has been under consolidation since hitting that high, and is sniffing out a bottom, currently in the low .06-range, but we’ll want to keep an eye peeled after this morning’s PR, the company having set the launch date of its cannabis-vending solution, the ZaZZZ(TM) Machine.
