Blue Horseshoe Stocks: MYHI Recap & Other Updates

Mountain High Acquisitions Corp. MYHI

Our first order of business this morning is to review the recent activity in MYHI, another cannabis stock amid the huge selection we’re constantly tracking. We’ve been all over this play in the month of January, beginning with the first report of the calendar year, and appearing routinely since then, all while maintaining a general uptrend.

Our witnessed low came in the session immediately following that first premarket report of 2017 back on January 3rd, at .09. Over the course of this month, MYHI has streaked skyward with some very impressive multi-day surges, the latest of which led to a new high yesterday.

We also included MYHI in yesterday’s premarket report, so for those readers who haven’t been with us long enough to have witnessed the full story on this play, single-session gains of a significant magnitude were also available. MYHI ran from a low of .5616 to its new high of .90 on heavy volume, an intraday push of 63%

The high mark represented an overall upswing of 900% from our observed low on the 3rd, exactly three weeks ago, so huge cheers are in order for anyone who has been along for this fantastic ride!

Other Pot Stock Updates

Speaking of the marijuana space, which has definitely been a prime area of focus for us in recent months especially, we had a couple of our other running cannabis interests that were included in yesterday’s premarket report end up performing well on the day.

We had Rocky Mountain High Brands, Inc. RMHB trade up from .13 to .16 for a modest 23% intraday push, reaching overall gains of 74% from the .092 low we observed after including the stock in Friday’s report.

There was also Hemp, Inc. HEMP, which was another one we put in the first report of the year and have been tracking ever since. It spiked 16% intraday yesterday from .0467 to .054, and from our witnessed low of .03, a total rise of 80%

Cellectar Biosciences, Inc. CLRB

CLRB is hitting our scanner in the premarket today, gapping up to the tune of 15% and showing all the symptoms of a solid bottom-bouncer.

There is a gap on the chart between approximately 1.80 and 2.20. We would like to see the stock maintain support above the 50DMA(1.50) and potentially make a run to fill that gap.

VanEck Vectors Gold Miners ETF (GDX) – Options Reminder

Just a quick reminder on our options ideas from yesterday’s report; the GDX 02/10 $24-25.50 Calls which we put on extended watch, made some decent progress on the first day, producing gains ranging between 20-40%

We’ll continue to track these ideas for the possibility of further increases for as long as gold itself can maintain its overall uptrend. In this case, that would likely mean holding support above the $1200/oz mark.

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: Pharma News Watchlist & More

Pharma News Watchlist:

We’ve got a trio of pharma plays to add to our watchlist on the heels of fresh news releases for each of them this morning. Each stock is gapping up significantly in the premarket, and we’ll be waiting in the wings once the session commences to see if we can use the resulting activity to our advantage.

Akebia Therapeutics, Inc. AKBA – Per the newly announced agreement out today, AKBA has entered into a Collaboration and License Agreement to carry forward with the development of one of its treatments. The deal comes with an immediate payment of $125M, a cash infusion that represents roughly 40% of the company’s total market cap as of yesterday.

______

ACADIA Pharmaceuticals, Inc. ACAD – In the case of ACAD, we’ve gotten word of positive top-line results in a Phase II study it was conducting on the company’s Alzheimer’s drug.  To leverage the present activity to our advantage here, we’re going to track the ACAD Weekly $28-31 Calls. (>>View PR)

_______

Conatus Pharmaceuticals, Inc. CNAT

Here we have another collaboration and licensing deal, for CNAT’s liver drug, which is going to be bringing a $50M cash infusion Conatus’ way. That’s just the initial tranche, with more payments to follow as outlined in the relevant filing (>>View 8-K)

Globalstar, Inc. GSAT

We put GSAT on watch as a possible momentum play in yesterday morning’s premarket report, and while it didn’t break out in a major way, it did continue the trend of solid upward momentum that has been observed in recent sessions. From an early low of 1.25, the stock ran as high as 1.60; a 28% pop.

The performance, while not astronomical, was certainly enough to hold our interest in continuing to monitor GSAT’s activity moving forward.

Cellectar Biosciences, Inc. CLRB – Reminder

We just wanted to take a quick moment to reiterate a possible bottom-play selection we made last week in the form of CLRB. We’re still tracking this one, and think it has a good chance to produce a recovery, possibly following the holiday break. So we’re going to want to leave a space on our watch screens reserved for CLRB in the days and weeks ahead.

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: QFOR, NDEV Updates & More

Quadrant 4 Systems Corp. QFOR

Yesterday marked the first time we ever mentioned QFOR in any of our premarket reports, and in a stroke of fantastic timing, the stock made one heck of a debut for us.

We were interested because we noticed that after taking a huge beating from nearly .20 at the beginning of the month, the stock finally started to show some signs of life, trending off of its lows on Monday.

That momentum helped facilitate yesterday’s run from a low of .04175 to .0712, which worked out to a healthy intraday pop of 80% on more than twice the monthly average volume. We want to continue to monitor this as a recovery play, as the regaining of even a portion of the ground that it lost in recent weeks would represent significant gains from the present juncture.

Cellectar Biosciences, Inc. CLRB

Speaking of bottom plays, there’s another one hitting our scanners this morning in CLRB. This stock found new 6-month lows yesterday, and from a technical standpoint, this is what can only be referred to as an incredibly ripe chart.

We’ve included a snapshot below, and as you can see, it currently boasts many of the  characteristics that we constantly watch for, and often benefit from. Trading at recent relative lows, with an RSI indicating oversold, the MACD converging toward an impending bullish cross, and a sizable gap to the upside.

It’s for these reasons that CLRB must be afforded a spot on our watch-screens as we cruise through midweek.

Novus Acquisition & Development Corp. NDEV

After tagging NDEV in Monday’s morning report and witnessing a nice initial move from .30-.442 (+47%), we followed up yesterday and cautioned that a continuation of momentum made it necessary to stay on its trail, and we’re glad we did.

The stock produced a second straight solid session for us, running from its morning low of .43 to a new high of .559, a intraday pop of 30% and a two-day increase amounting to 86% High volume to the tune of more than five times its monthly average, and another strong close will keep NDEV’s slot on our radar safe for the time being.

Extended Watchlist:
ACAU, DTEA, ECTE, EXAD, PGUS, PLX(Bottom-Bouncer)

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: TWTR Options & More

Globus Maritime, Ltd. GLBS

We included GLBS as a part of our extended watchlist yesterday after noticing that the stock had produced a solid session on Tuesday. Our hunch that the run could continue proved to be good, as the stock posted another nice intraday performance.

GLBS traded in a range from a low of 5.122 to a high of 8.769, a move of 71% and it came on more than seven times the monthly average volume. We’ll keep a slot on our watchscreens reserved for GLBS in the event it maintains its upward momentum and strings together a multi-day run.

Agora Holdings, Inc. AGHI

We’ve continued to follow AGHI as it has seen some consolidation over the past few sessions, and the lower it has crept, the more attractive it has begun to look as a bounceplay opportunity.

If you notice on the included chart, the stock has a recent track record of making a serious run-up from current PPS levels. The last time it traded below a dime, that was followed by a huge pop to more than .20. That’s just the kind of rebound we’ll be looking for as the stock searches for support.

Twitter, Inc. TWTR – Options Idea

In conjunction with buyout rumors that have been swirling around Twitter, we happen to like the look of the present chart, and thus we’d like to formulate a corresponding options idea. We’ve had a reasonable amount of success with the TWTR options chain in the past, and current conditions seem favorable enough to signal an extended-term idea today.

We’re going to place the TWTR 01/20 $19 and $20 Calls for the time being, with the added caveat that a buyout actually coming to fruition would very likely necessitate an adjustment to our strike prices.

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: Update on ONOV & More

BioNovelus, Inc. ONOV

We were just mentioning yesterday morning, how ONOV, since our initial tag of the stock on the 26th of April had been undergoing a serious uptrend. We’d witnessed a staggering 1617% run from .006 in April, to a new high of .103 on Monday.

We acknowledged the fact that the RSI indicated that the stock was overbought, but also noted that the impending Golden Cross on the chart overruled that, and kept it on our watchlist for further tracking. All we said we needed to see from the stock was for it to maintain support at or above previous support at .04 on any pullbacks, and it was never an issue. The bounce point and low of day was .087 and from there the stock ran 57% intraday to a new high of .1367.

That extended our total observed move on ONOV this spring to a brain-busting 2178% and allowed the stock to continue the blue-sky breakout currently in effect.

Motorcar Parts of America, Inc. MPAA

After noticing a surge of insider buying beginning last week on MPAA, and the fact that it was searching for a new 52-week low, we placed MPAA on extended-term recovery watch yesterday, and got an immediate response.
\
Our call of the bottom appears to have been absolutely perfect as MPAA rose from that annual low of 25.50 which also happened to be the low of day, and rebounded up to 30.97. That marked an intraday increase of 21% which is fairly impressive for a $25 stock. We’ll continue to monitor, and will be looking for it to begin to register higher base levels of support off of that newly established 52-week low.

Chatroom Reminder:

Speaking of great calls, our friend DJ from our live traders chat was up to his old tricks again yesterday, making an absolutely massive call. He noted that MYLI was extremely thin on the offer, and his vigilance provided huge potential rewards for the room.

The PPS was as low as .0025 following his mention at 9:46am, and peaked at .0145 late in the session for a chance at 480% in gains. This is why we constantly remind our readers that you are welcome to join our daily chats, as you never know when the next big gainer might get passed along!

Medina International Holdings, Inc. MIHI – We also want to radar this stock, which is a low-float news play that caught our eye this morning. (>>View PR)
