Blue Horseshoe Stocks: Fresh Options Ideas & More

India Globalization Capital, Inc. IGC – Update

As we were mentioning yesterday morning, ICG was a near-perfect bottom call we made roughly three weeks ago in our report on September 10th and thereafter we would observe a low of 1.03.

For the past couple of weeks the stock has been on fire, gaining ground by leaps and bounds, and yesterday it recorded yet another huge session. From a daily low of  9.50 the stock ran to a new high of 14.58, for an intraday gain of 53%

From our initially observed low midway through last month, that marks an overall increase of 1316% Cheers to any of our readers who have been in on this mega-runner!

Tesla Inc TSLA – Recap

Yesterday morning we mentioned that our idea from Tuesday morning, the TSLA Weekly $300-310 Calls, most likely stood to gain even more ground based on the stock’s premarket activity.

As it turned out, we were absolutely correct, with each of the five contracts we designated as items of interest extending their highs on the day. Here are the updated figures from Tuesday’s session through yesterday’s closing bell:

$300 Calls – Range: 11.10-18.60 – Max Gain: 68%
$302.50 Calls – Range: 10.00-16.25 – Max Gain: 62%
$305 Calls – Range: 8.65-15.30 – Max Gain: 77%
$307.50 Calls – Range: 7.70-13.45 – Max Gain: 75%
$310 Calls – Range: 6.60-12.00 – Max Gain: 82%

Tesla is gapping up today and looks to be ready to push these contracts deep in the money, so we’ll expect to see these ranges and possible gains extended even further from here.

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: Stocks & Options Movers

General Mills, Inc. GIS – Options Idea

As our regular readers are perfectly aware, we never stop looking for earnings related options plays. Even now, amid a relative lull in quarterly reports, we’re seeing an interesting possibility with General Mills.

After its Q4 earnings report this morning, wherein a solid beat on profits was achieved, the stock is up to the tune of 2% in the premarket. There is also a large gap on the chart to the $50-area. In this situation, we’re interested in tracking the GIS Weekly $45 & $47.50 Calls for the remainder of the week.

TransEnterix, Inc. TRXC

We wanted to come back to comment on TRXC this morning as well. We tagged this stock for observation just a shade over a month ago on May 23rd, and since that time, the stock has enjoyed a very solid uptrend which has led to new highs this week.

On the day of our initial alert on TRXC, we had observed a low of 2.82, and the srtock never fell below that point. Yesterday’s new high came in at 5.70, marking an upswing of 102% in a matter of four and-a-half weeks!

Kopin Corp. KOPN

For something new to put on our radars this morning we also want to make mention of KOPN. As you can on the annotated chart below, at the present time, KOPN is displaying a strong multiple bottom formation, in addition to having just reached heavily oversold territory.

We are going to place KOPN on watch in the days ans perhaps weeks ahead and will be interested to see how it behaves with this cherry of a technical setup.

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: TSLA Recap & More

Tesla, Inc. TSLA – Options Idea
TSLA stock was running hard after KeyBanc analysts predicted a 50% rise in Model 3 deliveries, and we entered the mix yesterday morning with a set of options ideas to take advantage of the situation. We certainly hope that our words didn’t fall upon deaf ears, because of the five contracts in the range we slated for potential quick strike trades, all five produced single-session gains of over 100%

Our designated targets were the TSLA Weekly 337.50-347.50 Calls and we were very impressed with the total potential gains made available by all of those contracts:

$337.50 Calls – Range: 8.00-19.00 – Max Gain: 138%
$340 Calls – Range: 6.76-17.10 – Max Gain: 153%
$342.50 Calls – Range: 5.75-15.16 – Max Gain: 164%
$345 Calls – Range: 4.97-13.50 – Max Gain: 172%
$347.50 Calls – Range: 4.20-11.90 – Max Gain: 183%

From what we’ve seen thus far, we have reason to believe that we may see some further opportunities in these ideas before the week is out, so we’ll allow them to keep their slots on our radar screens for the time being.

H&R Block, Inc. HRB – Fresh Idea

As a fresh options trading idea this morning, we want to bring attention to HRB, which despite turning in a beat on earnings yesterday in the post market, is taking a beating here in early trading.

Combined with the fact that the stock was already looking toppy and about to breach into heavily overbought territory, we’re ready to look at a range of puts, to take advantage of what may be a significant course correction to the low side. We’ll be tracking the HRB Weekly $26-24 Puts.
