Blue Horseshoe Stocks: TWTR Options & More

Globus Maritime, Ltd. GLBS

We included GLBS as a part of our extended watchlist yesterday after noticing that the stock had produced a solid session on Tuesday. Our hunch that the run could continue proved to be good, as the stock posted another nice intraday performance.

GLBS traded in a range from a low of 5.122 to a high of 8.769, a move of 71% and it came on more than seven times the monthly average volume. We’ll keep a slot on our watchscreens reserved for GLBS in the event it maintains its upward momentum and strings together a multi-day run.

Agora Holdings, Inc. AGHI

We’ve continued to follow AGHI as it has seen some consolidation over the past few sessions, and the lower it has crept, the more attractive it has begun to look as a bounceplay opportunity.

If you notice on the included chart, the stock has a recent track record of making a serious run-up from current PPS levels. The last time it traded below a dime, that was followed by a huge pop to more than .20. That’s just the kind of rebound we’ll be looking for as the stock searches for support.

Twitter, Inc. TWTR – Options Idea

In conjunction with buyout rumors that have been swirling around Twitter, we happen to like the look of the present chart, and thus we’d like to formulate a corresponding options idea. We’ve had a reasonable amount of success with the TWTR options chain in the past, and current conditions seem favorable enough to signal an extended-term idea today.

We’re going to place the TWTR 01/20 $19 and $20 Calls for the time being, with the added caveat that a buyout actually coming to fruition would very likely necessitate an adjustment to our strike prices.

Extended Watchlist:
RIG, SDRL, REXX, CLRB, TOPS, DRYS

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: Yesterday’s Huge Session & More

Sky Solar Holdings Ltd. SKYS – Update

SKYS has been nothing short of spectacular since we introduced it in Thursday morning’s premarket report. On the first day we saw it run from 1.30 to 2.58 (+98%), then on Friday another big pop from 2.44-5.50 (+125%), but the fun wasn’t over yet!

Yesterday, after yet another morning reminder to our readers, SKYS would once again record higher lows and higher highs en route to a daily run from 4.32 to 6.46, marking a shot at up to 50% in gains on the day.

The new high also represented a simply awesome 397% swing over our observed low of 1.30 on Thursday morning! We’ll remain interested for as long as the stock continues to build higher base levels of support.

_____

Towerstream Corp. TWER

We submitted TWER in the same report as SKYS on Thursday as they both appeared to be prime bottom-play opportunities, and it too has put on an extended show for us that has spanned all three sessions since that initial alert at a low of .1099.

Yesterday’s performance was very good, with TWER touching a low of .14 before hitting .20, a move of 43% and a three-day total upswing of 82% The stock closed just a penny below the high at .19, so a continuation of momentum is certainly a possibility from here as well.

______

Strikeforce Technologies, Inc. SFOR

We also want to track back quickly to SFOR; another call we made on Thursday, when it was trading as low as .0007. Yesterday, the stock reached a new high of .0015, which registers as a three-session swing of 114%

Aeropostale, Inc. ARO

We urged our readers to heed the warning signs presented by the ARO chart yesterday morning, which we pointed out as being extremely bullish in nature. We sincerely hope that folks were paying attention, because it turned out to be a heck of a call.

From an early low of .23, the stock took off and subsequently reached a high of .35; a 52% intraday pop that we feel is quite noteworthy coming from a NYSE play in this price range. It also saw a bullish close just below its high of day, so we’ll have to reserve a continued space on our watchlists for ARO.

Applied Energetics, Inc. AERG

AERG was included on yesterday morning’s watchlist, and it too put up a bullish performance on the afternoon. After a subdued start, the stock heated up toward the end of the day and ran into the close. The daily range on the stock was .024-.041, giving traders a chance at some nice gains of up 71%

Twitter, Inc. TWTR – Options Idea

In addition to paying close attention to TWTR stock, which just cracked through its 50DMA yesterday, we will also be looking to possibly take advantage of the options chain. We’ll have our sights set on TWTR Weekly $17.50 & $18 Calls  for daytrading/swing trade opportunities through the remainder of the week.

Extended Watchlist:
TRTC, RVUE, FARE, MRVL, VRX, USLV, LL

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: FCEL, AQXP Recaps & More

Aquanox Pharmaceuticals, Inc. AQXP

AQXP was among the stocks that we presented in yesterday’s premarket report, as we were catching it a couple of days after some really positive developments were announced by the company. Despite already being up significantly at that point, our instincts to include it in our daily interests proved to be well-founded.

The stock made a monstrous move right out of the starting gate from 17.56-55.75, a walloping 217% initial rip, followed by an extreme pullback. The activity in AQXP was so abnormally volatile that trading was temporarily halted. AQXP stock is presently gapping up in premarket trading as high as 38.74 so far this morning.

Familiar Bottom-Bouncers

Yesterday was an interesting session in that we noticed an unusually high number of stocks with which we are very familiar, making some excellent moves off of their recently-attained low-points.

FuelCell Energy, Inc. FCEL – FCEL had been on a continuous backslide for many weeks. The company released a positive PR (Link Below) and things took off from there, as you can see on the included chart. We’ll be looking for the stock to maintain at least half of the advance it made yesterday on any pullbacks.

___

Inovio Pharmaceuticals, Inc. INO

INO also had a big day generated by a PR. The company entered into a partnership with AstraZeneca to provide its cancer treatment in a deal that could reportedly bring as much as $700M in revenue INO’s way. (>>>Get More Details). We are well-acquainted with this stock, having last mentioned it just a couple of weeks ago. We’ll be keen to track the ensuing activity after yesterday’s major revelation, and roughly 30% increase on the day.

___

Other stocks that we routinely discuss that also made appreciable moves off of relative lows yesterday were Voltari Corp. VLTC, Dominovas Energy Corp. DNRG, and Ascent Solar Technologies, Inc. ASTI. Those familiar bottom-bouncers were joined by New Source Energy Partners. NSLP, a newcomer to our reports. We’ll be watching the whole lot as the week progresses. Continued gains, as well as possible dip-and-rip scenarios could be in the cards for any and/or all of them!

Fresh Options Ideas

We’ve got a nice selection of new options-trading possibilities to enter into the mix today:

Shake Shack, Inc. SHAK –  Shake Shack beat on earnings  yesterday and is gapping up in the premarket today. As a result we are going to be taking a look at Weekly $72-76 Calls for potential chances at intraday/intraweek flips.

Apple, Inc. AAPL –  We’ve had a lot of success with AAPL Options in both the distant and recent past, and a new, longer-term idea to monitor in coming weeks is going to be the Sept. 18th $120-122 Calls.

Twitter, Inc. TWTR – For a prospective idea in the TWTR chain, we’ll stretch our target period out to that same Sept. 18th expiration, and track the 9/18 TWTR $30-32 Calls.
