Blue Horseshoe Stocks: SNAP Review, New Ideas

Snap, Inc. SNAP – Options Update

We correctly called the bounce on SNAP in our premarket report on Friday and signaled a couple of contracts for observation, the SNAP 6/16 $18 & 19 Calls.

After those made intraday moves of 69% and 93% respectively to close out the week, we rehashed them in yesterday’s report along with mentioning that rolling up to the $20-level was something to consider, given the activity we were observing.

Not only did the $18’s and $19’s extend their gains, but the $20’s got in on the fun as well:

06/16 $18 Calls – Intraday Range: 2.00-3.10 (+55%) – 2-Day Swing: 163%
06/16 $19 Calls – Intraday Range: 1.38-2.34 (+70%)  – 2-Day Swing: 212%
06/16 $20 Calls – Intraday Range: .85-1.65 – Max Gain: 94%

With SNAP gapping up in the premarket once again, we expect to see these ranges extended even further today. Cheers to anyone who grabbed a piece of the action!

Weibo Corp. WB – Fresh Idea

To try to continue along with our options success, we’re looking at the Chinese social media network Weibo and its earnings beat this morning.

The stock has already been breaking out and it appears as if today’s earnings figures could propel it to even more gains over the short term, so we’re going to be looking at the WB Weekly $67.50-70 Calls.

Lithium Exploration Group, Inc. LEXG

It was only yesterday morning in our premarket report that we were encouraging our readers to get involved with our daily in-session trader’s chatroom*. Sure enough, more proof of why we periodically remind our subscribers of these daily Skype chats came to us in the form of LEXG.

As you can see from the screen snap below, it was just after 10am when we alerted our members to movement in the stock, and it subsequently ran from .0009 to .002, which represents an intraday rip of 122%

We always find winners to put here in our premarket reports, but to catch even more opportunities on the fly as they come up after the open, our trader’s chats are the way to go.

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: SPY Calls, Bottom Bouncers & More

Fresh Options Idea

SPDR S&P 500 ETF (SPY) – The SPY is one of our favorite funds to take advantage of when market conditions permit, and based on the general atmosphere this morning after crude oil’s impressive rally yesterday, we definitely want to signal a range of contracts for tracking.

We’re specifically looking for the heaviest activity to fall within the SPY Weekly $187-191 Calls*, with the SPY trading in the $189-range here in the premarket. If we do see a dip to start the day, we’ll need the subsequent bounce to occur above that $187-level for this idea to remain valid.

*Don’t forget that trading weekly options contracts on a Friday is an inherently risky proposition, as they are on the verge of expiration. It can, however, be a chance for experienced traders to take advantage as premiums dissipate and volatility increases.

Decision Diagnostics Corp. DECN

DECN was included in our pool of interests from yesterday’s premarket report, and the stock went on to put up a respectable performance.

From a low of .15, DECN ran as high as .24 for potential intraday gains of up to 60% and the move happened with the aid of roughly nine times the monthly average volume.

TubeMogul, Inc.  TUBE

There have been a couple of events that have TUBE flirting with new relative lows this week. A nominal amount of insider selling seems to have coincided with some  third-party content in its news feed casting the stock in a disparaging light.

Events like these awaken the bargain hunters within us. The stock is approaching previous levels of support as we’ve pointed out on the chart below, so we’ll be monitoring for a possible reversal to occur in that channel in forthcoming sessions.

Synergy Resources Corp. SYRG

We’ve noticed SYRG trending up off of its own recent bottom over the past couple of sessions, and we like the overall look of the chart and the strength building therein. We’re looking for this stock to record higher highs and higher lows and continue to build momentum.

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: Reviewing COTE, DNRG & More

Coates International, Ltd. COTE

After tracking COTE over a monstrous 560% swing (.0025-.0165) on Tuesday, we cautioned readers that a dip-and-rip might be in the cards yesterday, and it’s a good thing that we did.

The follow-up move managed by COTE was smaller by comparison, but still very impressive in and of itself. The daily range on the stock was huge, as it surged from .0068 and once again ran into resistance at .0165. It marked an intraday move of 142% and came on more than six times the monthly average volume.

We’ll continue to reserve a place on our watchlist for COTE as we head into the end of the week; if its activity thus far is any indicator, we may yet see the development another opportunity for healthy daily gains.

Dominovas Energy Corp. DNRG

DNRG exploded off of our extended watchlist yesterday, where we included a tag of it and the interesting PR we found on a routine scan. It appeared others found it interesting as well, because the stock went on an absolute rip from .005 to .0125; a single session swing of 150%

It was fortunate that we were vigilant enough to catch this play for ourselves and our readers, which up until this week, had been trading by appointment only. After the considerable momentum in the stock yesterday, we’ll be tracking its activity for the remainder of the week.

Yesterday’s Successful Options Ideas

We tossed out some options-trading ideas in yesterday’s premarket report, and the profits were certainly there for the taking:

$207.50’s – Range: 4.20-8.00 – Max Gain: 90%
$210’s – Range: 2.60-6.00 – Max Gain: 131%
$212.50’s – Range: 1.58-4.00 – Max Gain: 153%

The longer-term ideas we included for LNKD also bore fruit immediately:

08/21 $220’s – Range: 9.80-12.00 – Max Gain: 22%
08/21 $225’s – Range: 8.15-9.90 – Max Gain: 21%
08/21 $230’s – Range: 5.10-8.00 – Max Gain: 57%

____

Petroleo Brasiliero SA (Petrobras) PBR –  We tagged the Weekly PBR $8.00-9.00 Calls for observation on PBR, and while the $8’s didn’t see much in the way of open interest, the $8.50’s ran from .38-.63 (+65%) and the $9’s made an even double bagger from .11-.22.
