Friday’s Top Flight Finish, Fresh Ideas

Friday’s Clean Options Sweep :

We were already on a streak of options perfection heading into Friday, and with the slate of ideas we included in Friday’s premarket report, we put an exclamation point on a fantastic trading week. We offered up a mixed bag of earning-related plays, and most of them turned out to be multi-bag runners on the day.

Another Sweep of the Board on Thursday:

We were right on target with the options trading ideas we put forth in yesterday morning’s premarket report. We included possible ideas for three different earnings reporters, and got reasonably impressive intraday results from each of them.

Our areas of interest for the session were the DDOG Weekly $83-81 Puts, the SHOP Weekly $48.50-47.50 Puts, and the CSCO Weekly $48.50-50 Calls. The moves produced ranged from very good excellent on those plays, as you can see here:

We’re circling back around this morning to highlight moves in some of our recent ‘longer-term’ options ideas, which for us, is anything beyond contracts with a weekly expiration. Several factors determine whether we make quick-strike or swing trade ideas, the primary of which being the setup of the chart.

Both of these longer term plays have set new highs for us this week. We began tracking the CRCT 03/18$10 Puts last Wednesday morning, and the BKE 03/18 $36.85-39.35 Calls on Friday morning.

We’ve got our typical options review to start things off with today, and thanks in part to a solid close for the markets at large yesterday, not only did both of our fresh ideas post big intraday moves, but one of our targets from earlier in the week popped off in a big way as well.

We’re on our normal routine today, highlighting the winners we’ve come across with our many options ideas. For yesterday’s morning’s premarket report, we hashed out three sets of fresh plays for tracking, and two of them turned in very nice performances.

We were after the ACCD Weekly $20 Calls and the KBH 02/18 $40-42 Calls, and they both produced positive intraday movement for us, with the ACCD calls posting the top performance and registering a big multibag run on the day.

Additionally, we flagged the DASH 01/21 $160-165 Calls as a longer-term idea on New Year’s Eve, and those have started to put up big moves as well. Below you’ll find the total range and possible gains so far.
