Blue Horseshoe Stocks: Cannabis Updates, Options & More

Cannabics Pharmaceuticals, Inc. CNBX

We began talking about CNBX earlier this month, mentioning it on the 5th and 6th, as part of our ongoing effort to remind our readers of the myriad opportunities there are, and will continue to be, in the cannabis space. We’re now less than two weeks away from an election that should dramatically alter the landscape of the marijuana business.

CNBX is among a number of pot-related plays that we’ve had on our running tracklist, and with the help of a really strong month overall, it has come all the way from our observed low of .06 on the day of our initial mention (10/05) to a new high yesterday of .377. That works out to an increase of 528% inside of three weeks.

It wasn’t the first time we’ve seen such a huge move out of a cannabis stock, and it certainly won’t be the last.

MyDx, Inc. MYDX

Speaking of the cannabis sector, MYDX is another constituent of that space that we’ve been tracking this month only to witness some excellent moves to the upside.

We entered MYDX into the mix on the 10th, and subsequently observed a low of .0225. Since then it’s been a fairly steady ramp-up and yesterday the stock achieved a new high of .0525. It represents a total PPS rise of 133%, which, like the above-mentioned play, occurred in a span of less than three weeks.

Today’s Fresh Ideas

Microsoft Corp MSFT  – Continuing along our extremely successful pattern of taking advantage of earnings beats for options trading this week, we’re going to submit two last ideas today. With Microsoft hitting all-time highs, we’ll be very interested in tracking the activity in the MSFT Weekly $59-61 Calls*, and if the stock manages to break $61, of course we’d have to roll our strike prices up.
_____

McDonalds Corp. MCD – McDonalds’ earnings report is also being well received this morning and MCD was a stock that had been previously backsliding. We’ll look to take advantage of the potential reversal with the MCD Weekly $113-115 Calls*.

*We always issue an extra warning when highlighting an idea that involves trading weekly options on a Friday. If you’re not an advanced trader, don’t even attempt it!

Other Updates

OWC Pharmaceutical Research Corp. OWCP –
We first began talking about OWCP on September 29th, and at the time we had designated it a subpenny bottom-play. Our observed low that day was .0045, and the stock has never looked back as it’s gone on an absolutely epic ride since then.

We were impressed enough after seeing it run over 1500% past the seven cent mark in the first week we were tracking it, but what came next was on another level. We called for our readers to watch for a dip-and-rip off of that initial run, and that’s just what happened.

The stock reached an incredible new high of .191 yesterday, marking a surreal 4144% gain over our observed low from just three weeks ago.

_____

GreenGro Technologies, Inc. GRNH – As we’ve been mentioning all week, cannabis plays are hot once again, and one of the latest movers in that department has been GRNH. We tagged it along with several other pot stocks that have been performing well on Tuesday. Since that time, it has traded up from .0905 to  as high as .142, a 57% pop.

From our next most recent alert on GRNH on October 4th, the move has been even more impressive (.0651-.142; 118%).

As we said, we’ll continue to have it and other marijuana stocks on close watch as we approach election day, with several states having recreational marijuana on the ballot.

We’ve also prepared a video presentation of the charts on both of these plays, which you can view by tapping the image below:

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: Cannabis Updates, Options & More

OWC Pharmaceutical Research Corp. OWCP

We hardly need to tell our regular readers that we caught and alerted OWCP last Thursday at a low of .0045, because it has appeared in every single one of our premarket reports since then.

It’s rare to come across a multi-day runner of any duration, but one that continues for the span of an entire week without so much as a hiccup is really something special. Yesterday the stock parlayed its four-day head of steam into another great intraday run from .0261-.0468, a jump 79%  That new high represented an overall five-session swing totaling 940%

Huge cheers go out to anyone who has participated in this epic run, which is part of the cannabis space, a sector that we’ve been tracking more closely as the landscape has been heating up. We’ll continue to track OWCP, not only for the potential of continued momentum, but for the eventual consolidation and subsequent bounceplay that’s sure to arise when that occurs.

Cannabis Pharmaceuticals, Inc. CNBX

Speaking of the cannabis space, another related play that appeared in yesterday’s report went on to have itself quite a nice single-session performance.

CNBX traded in a daily range from a low of .06 to .0819 on more than triple the monthly average volume, and closed at that high. That was good for a 37% move, and with the bullish close to consider, we’ll certainly want to keep a close eye on CNBX for the possibility of continued momentum.

Catalyst Pharmaceuticals, Inc. CPRX

We’d also like to take a minute to update readers on the performance of CPRX over the past couple of weeks, a stock that we tagged for observation back on September 16th. On that day we observed a low of .99, and CPRX hasn’t dipped below that point since.

Over the past couple of sessions, things have really ramped up, with the stock setting a new high of 1.58 yesterday, up 60% from our witnessed low. That occurred on the third highest traded volume in the stock’s history, and the highest number of shares traded in a single day since 2013.

Aurinia Pharmceuticals, Inc. AUPH

While we’re on the topic of pharma plays we’ve tagged recently that have taken off to new highs, we also have to make mention of AUPH. We placed this stock on watch in Monday morning‘s report, and the ensuing run has been solid enough to warrant continued observation.

From a low of 3.07, the stock traded up to 4.13 (+35%) on roughly four times the monthly average volume, and is gapping up this morning to around $5, extending that figure even higher.

Fresh Options Idea – Disney Co. DIS

We like the current setup of the DIS chart, and the chances for a long-term recovery, so we want to signal a range of extended term options calls to correspond with that.

We’re going to radar the DIS 11/11 $94-96 Calls and keep track over them in the weeks ahead. .
