Blue Horseshoe Stocks: FL, CNXS Recaps & More

Franchise Holding International, Inc. FNHI

On Friday morning, we were giving our readers an update on the stellar performance of FNHI since we’d first called it back on the 8th. subsequent to which time, the stock was trading at a low of .0061.

Not only did FNHI follow it up with a solid intraday pop, but also extended our total observed range in just over three weeks by a significant margin.

Friday, FNHI traded from 0265-.0449 for an intraday push of 69% That new high, measured from our witnessed low, comes out to an overall upswing of 636%

The stock also closed with strength at .0421, holding most of its daily advance, so we’ll be watching it this morning as we prepare to kick off a new trading week.

Connexus Corp. CNXS

Speaking of big movers, our tag of CNXS in Friday’s report came just in the nick of time for us to catch a fantastic intraday performance.

The stock traded up from a low of .0051, cracked through the penny barrier, and reached as high as .0159, for a whopping run of 212% on the day!

That performance marked the third straight session of higher highs and higher lows, so we’re definitely going to be on the lookout for a possible continuation of that trend. Ideally, we’d like to see CNXS hold support at or above Thursday’s swing high of .0092 on any pullbacks.

Foot Locker, Inc. FL – Options Update

We also need to bring readers up to speed on the excellent  post-earnings options idea we formulated on Friday for Foot Locker, the FL 03/17 $70-75 Calls.

Those contracts provided daytraders with some cherry opportunities for quick gains with FL’s bullish intraday run from 70.37 to 75.37. The potential profits were as follows:

$70 Calls – Range: 2.00-5.00 – Max Gain: 150%
$72.50 Calls – Range: .95-3.60 – Max Gain: 279%
$75 Calls – Range: .26-2.00 – Max Gain: 669%

Special Note on Bitcoin

Prior to last week, the all time high for Bitcoin was $1160, last week that high was broken, and has been making higher highs since.

Winklevoss Bitcoin Trust ETF (Pending:COIN) is subject to approval. Essentially, if the SEC raises no issues by the end of the comment period, the ETF can move forward unhindered. It has caused an increased interest in the space, and as a result, we’ve got our eyes on stocks like the above-mentioned CNXS, along with others like BTSC and GAHC

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: FNHI, Bottom-Plays & More

Franchise Holding International, Inc. FNHI

It’s about time that we came back to rehash one of our top performing stocks of the month in FNHI this morning. We’ve been continuously monitoring this play all February, since our initial alert which came on the 8th, subsequent to which we would observe a low of .0061 in the stock. We continued to follow up on this play, including reminders in last Friday’s report, and on Tuesday as well.

It’s been quite a ride since then, as FNHI has gone on to barrel into Pennyland, and eventually break both the two and three cent marks.

Yesterday the stock reached an impressive new high of .0357, which represents an overall upswing of 485% in just a shade over two weeks! Big congratulations go out to anyone who got involved and reaped some serious rewards off of this fantastic subpenny-to-penny mover!

Northern Dynasty Minerals, Ltd. NAK

We spotted a potential recovery play in NAK, which has gotten beaten up in recent sessions, but is exhibiting the traits of a stock that could be headed back up in sessions to come.

Whenever we see a bottom-bouncing stock which has established support at a previous resistance level, especially one this oversold, we’re always on the lookout for the possibility of a rebound. We’re going to keep NAK on our radars indefinitely, as we feel that a significant push back to the upside could be just a matter of time.

Fresh Options Idea

Foot Locker, Inc. FL – For a quick options trading idea this morning, we’re going to signal a range of longer-term contracts in the Foot Locker chain. Our targets, the FL 03/17 $70-75 Calls will have plenty of time to see the type of activity we’re looking for, with exactly three weeks until expiration.

Cemtrex, Inc. CETX – Quick Reminder

We tagged CETX as a bottom play in yesterday’s report, and we just wanted to update readers on its healthy performance. The stock traded up from a daily low of 3.51 to 4.43, a gain of 26% which is a good start to the recovery we were hoping to see.

We’ll continue to have our eyes on this one, as a return to 5, 6, or perhaps even 7 dollars is not out of the realm of possibility in weeks to come.

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: MYOS Recap, Gold Plays & More

  MYOS RENS Technology, Inc. MYOS

Easily the most solid performer that was discussed in yesterday morning’s premarket report, MYOS stole the show with everything we look for in a daily runner- an early burst that gives traders a chance at some nice intraday gains, high volume, and maintaining a good portion of the gains it makes into the close.

MYOS checked all three of those boxes yesterday, running early from its daily low of 3.61 up to a high of 5.48, which worked out to a nice 52% pop. MYOS closed at 4.72, maintaining over half of its daily advance, and did so on well over eight times the monthly average trading volume.

An all around performance like that certainly earns MYOS a continued slot on our radar screens in sessions ahead.

VanEck Vectors Gold Miners ETF (GDX)

With gold being so solid in the month of February, and indeed for most of 2017 so far, we want to rehash the idea we put forth on some GDX options and update our readers on their performance.

We initially signaled the GDX 02/10 $24-25.50 Calls in our report from January 23rd. Now set to expire on Friday, we wanted to circle back and remind our members of the kind of gains that could have been secured with this idea.

Here’s what they’ve done so far, and with gold continuing its climb, we can’t rule out seeing these upward trading range extended even further between now and the end of the week:

$24 Calls – Range: .32-1.46 – Max Gain: 356%
$24.50 Calls – Range: .19-1.05 – Max Gain: 453%
$25 Calls – Range: .11-.67 – Max Gain: 509%
$25.50 Calls – Range: .06-.39 – Max Gain: 550%

_________

Direxion Daily Gold Miners Bull 3X ETF (NUGT) – Another gold analog we’ve got a history with is NUGT, so we’re also going to highlight some contracts that have some potential here as well. Being a triple-leveraged fund, the activity in NUGT resembles that of GDX, but the magnitude of the percentage gains it has made on its chart over the same period are notably higher.

Should the massive gold rally maintain its trend, we could be looking at some serious moves in the NUGT Weekly $13-14 Calls, so that’s where we’ll set our sights with this one.
