VDSC, MJNA & Extended Watchlist

ALAS International Holdings, Inc. VDSC

After a slightly rocky start yesterday morning in which it pulled back to .0128, VDSC surged back, gaining 28% as it touched .0164 in the afternoon, and closed with strength near that high of day (.016). We pointed out on the chart yesterday that a Golden Cross was imminent, and that occurred as well.

We are going to be keeping a keen eye on this stock today as well, although it has already seen four consecutive days of gains, so the time for locking in profits could be close-at-hand.

BARCHART.COM is currently giving VDSC an 88% Overall “Buy” Rating

Medical Marijuana, Inc. MJNA

We’ve had this stock on our radar for over a year now. Following an alert on August 9th , it was trading as low as .032. By mid-February, we witnessed a surge to as high as .50, for an overall increase of 1463%!

Since that time, it had been in an overall downtrend until just recently falling back to the twelve-cent range. The stock has now begun to show signs of recovery, and our focus has been drawn back to MJNA due to the current setup on the chart. As we’ve pointed out below, there is a promising look to it, with the MACD having just crossed. We’d like to see it continue to hold support off of the 200DMA and 20DMA (.152 & .189 respectively) and start to push towards that 50DMA at .238.

We also wanted to talk about this old favorite of ours as the company has just released its updated quarterly report which boasts higher-than-projected net income:

Operating highlights of the quarter were as follows:

Expanded its portfolio of innovated cannabinoid based phyto-medical companies with an investment in KannaLife Sciences. KannaLife Sciences, Inc. is a late stage bio-pharmaceutical and phyto-medical company involved in the research and development of novel new therapeutic agents designed to reduce oxidative stress, and act as immuno-modulators and neuroprotectants.

KannaLife Sciences currently holds an exclusive license with National Institutes of Health – Office of Technology Transfer (“NIH-OTT”) for the Commercialization of U.S. Patent 6,630,507 “Cannabinoids as Antioxidants and Neuroprotectants” (the “‘507 Patent”).

Dixie brand received national exposure in Fortune Magazine, Boston Globe, Martha’s Vinyard Times, USA Today, Fast Company, Channel 5 Boston, increasing public awareness for the Company and its brands.

Dixie brand continued product development and captured additional market share. Currently Dixie services an estimated 90% of the addressable market based on the number of available accounts\retail outlets in Colorado.

Extended Watchlist:
APDN, EGLE, RGDX, FMCC, FNMA,

APDN, MWIP, ONCY & Extended Watchlist

APDN had an impressive day for the second consecutive session. The stock ran up until it hit a patch of resistance at.295, right where we asserted it would come. When added to Wednesday’s gains, APDN’s performance yesterday brought our total cumulative profits to a possible 44%

The stock has maintained its strength on the chart, as we’ve seen higher highs and higher lows on rather impressive share volume, and nearly $5M in dollar volume.

The next key level that we’d like to see broken through is .2965. As we said yesterday, a break past that level could send us into Blue Sky Breakout mode.

___

MWIP was added to our extended watchlist yesterday after we observed the momentum it exhibited earlier in the week.

We are no stranger to MWIP, we began following this play back on October 16th when we put out our first medical marijuana roundup report. The stock was trading as low as .0031 at the time, subsequently surging to .005 before it dipped to find support between .0024-.0029.

Yesterday the stock was as low as .0055 and ran as high as .0076, an intraday gain of 38%

The buzz surrounding medical marijuana stocks doesn’t figure to slow down anytime soon, and this play could be headed to pennyland in the near future. The next patch of resistance from here appears to come at .0125. We’d like to see the previous resistance from .0066-.007 hold as support.

___

Oncolytics Biotech Inc. ONCY

ONCY was another new addition to our extended watchlist yesterday, had a heck of a day, opening at .2.70, and running as high as 3.85 before closing out the day at 3.03 (+43%).

___

Two days in a row, our selections have provided us with a couple of nice opportunities for profit. As we were saying yesterday morning, you really can’t find the kind of variety of successful plays anywhere else, that we provide here on a consistent basis. Here’s wishing everyone a safe and fun weekend, best of luck to all and happy trading.

Extended Watchlist:
AZFL, FCEL, ALXA, GSV, SZYM, SRGE,

APDN, BCCI, & Extended Watchlist

After appearing in yesterday morning’s Extended Watchlist, APDN was the most traded stock on the OTC Market, with both the most trades (2340) going off, and the highest dollar volume ($5.5M). The opportunity to make a 31% gain on the day was present .

Back in September, the stock hit a high of .296; that will be a key area of resistance to breach, as a move past there could lead to a blue-sky breakout.

Indicators on the chart would seem to suggest that this is a real possibility.

___

Baristas Coffee Company Inc. BCCI

While APDN was 1st on the most traded list, BCCI came in at a very respectable 11th. Another stock from yesterday’s watchlist, the stock recorded 306 trades, on just under $200K in dollar volume, while trading over $100K one day prior.

Yesterday, all the indicators on BCCI looked bullish; the RSI, PPO, and Slow STO all got above their 50DMA’s yesterday, showing impressive strength. The PPS cut past the 50 & 100DMA’s like a hot knife through butter. The next key area of resistance will be the 200DMA (.06). Back in March, that .06 mark was a previous support level, as the stock bounced off .061 to run as high as .128. Should BBCI continue its momentum, and break through the .06-.07 range, there should be little resistance on up to those previous highs.
