Blue Horseshoe Stocks: TTOO Recap & More

T2 Biosystems, Inc. TTOO – Recap

We tagged TTOO as a bottom play just under a month ago in our report dated July 18th, as the stock was undergoing a lengthy period of consolidation. It subsequently found support at 2.53 shortly thereafter, and since that point in time, it has seen a solid recovery off of those lows.

Yesterday, TTOO reached a new high of 4.07, its best PPS all summer long. It worked out to a very respectable 61% upswing over our observed low, and indicators on the chart suggest there is still room for more rapid short term growth, so we’ll continue to keep an eye on this play moving forward.

SPDR S&P 500 ETF Trust (SPY) – Options Update

The markets ended up rebounding yesterday, leading us to note our interest in tracking the SPY Weekly $244.50-246 Calls in the event that the premarket trend we were noticing continued into the session. That’s what happened, and as a result our highlighted contracts made some really nice intraday moves.

$244.50 Calls – Range: 1.54-2.53 – Max Gain: 1180%
$245 Calls – Range: 1.18-2.05  – Max Gain: 1280%
$245.50 Calls – Range: .83-1.68 – Max Gain: 1225%
$246 Calls – Range: .54-1.30 – Max Gain: 1864%

The possibility of a sustained rally for the markets will lead us to roll up our potential strike prices in the SPY chain up to the $247 and $247.50 Calls to potentially keep this idea rolling.

Zerez Holdings Corp. ZRZH

We first caught wind of ZRZH last year, and it was good to us back then. We want to revisit the stock once again today for a couple reasons.

Not only is ZRZH in a relatively good place on the chart from which to launch a possible rebound, but yesterday the company presented some impressive quarter-over-quarter revenue growth. For those reasons, we want to place this stock on watch this week, a rebound to its previous area of fierce resistance at a nickel would mean considerable gain opportunities from present pricing.

SACRAMENTO, Calif., Aug. 14, 2017 /PRNewswire/ — Zerez Holdings Corporation, (OTC PINK: ZRZH), DBA Smart Cannabis, http://smartcannabis.com today filed its second quarter 2017 quarterly reports with OTCMARKETS. Blue Horseshoe Stocks: Bottom-Plays, Options & More

Celadon Group, Inc. CGI

We’ve been seeing a fair bit of bottom-bouncers running across our desks this week, and CGI is the latest to grab our attention. What we’ve got here is a very enticing chart with just about everything we look for in a potential bottom play.

The stock is beginning to come off of being massively oversold, has set higher lows and higher highs for each of the last three sessions, and has a sizable gap to fill to the upside. We also have a MACD that appears as if a bullish cross could be forthcoming, so we’ll definitely want to keep an eye on CGI this week.

____

Two other stocks on our bottom watchlist, California Resources Corp. and CRC Uni-Pixel, Inc. UNXL will remain there. We signaled these two just yesterday, and despite recording only marginal gains on the day, we still want to leave them a spot on our radar as well.

Valeant Pharmaceuticals, Inc. VRX – Options Idea

Speaking of bottom-bouncers, VRX recently rebounded off of new 52-week lows, and is hitting our scanners this morning.  With a pleasing Q1 earnings call which included solid boosts in profits for the quarter as well as reinforced guidance for the remainder of the year, VRX is gapping up considerably in the premarket.

We want to formulate an options idea to coincide with the increased activity and expected price action in a stock in this position. We’ve seen this sort of pattern many times before, and if things play out similarly here, the VRX Weekly $10.50-12 Calls could be in line to see considerable gains.

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: EBIO, HRB Updates & More

H&R Block, Inc. HRB – Options Update

The options idea we formulated and passed along to our readers on Friday for HRB was far away our best play of the week, and an excellent way to wrap it up. Our specific target range that we highlighted in this case was the HRB 06/17 $21-23 Calls. and we ended up seeing monstrous moves out of each of the contained contracts.

$21 Calls – Trading Range: .60-3.30 – Max Gain: 450%
$22 Calls – Trading Range: .15-2.30 – Max Gain: 1430%
$23 Calls– Trading Range: .05-1.30 – Max Gain: 2500%

Added Reminder:

The other options play we set our sights on in Friday morning’s report was Global Blood Therapeutics,Inc. GBT – 06/17 $20-30 Calls. We saw some moderate activity as the stock ran early in the day, before tapering off. As they don’t expire until the end of this week, we just wanted to reiterate the possibility of more pronounced moves if GBT maintains support at 22.00 or above.

Eleven Biotherapeutics, Inc. EBIO

The last time we reminded folks about our interest in EBIO, a stock that has appeared in our reports many times in the past, was on June 3rd. On that day, we were commenting on an earlier alert we put out on it back in May while EBIO’s PPS was at .80, after seeing it run up to its then-high of 2.10.

It ended up topping out at 2.60 on the afternoon of the 3rd, and has since been under light consolidation. It reached a support level of 1.62 on Friday, before beginning to rebound, and this morning it has gapped up hard in the premarket to a new high of 3.55 on the strength of an attractive PR (link below).

From our observed low in May, it represents an overall increase of 344% We’ll want to see the stock’s previous resistance level of 2.60 hold as support on any early pullbacks.
