Blue Horseshoe Stocks: Enormous Gains from SES

Synthesis Energy Systems Inc. SES

Our top billing of the morning is going to be SES, which we tagged for observation in yesterday morning’s premarket report. It’s always a good idea to check through our Extended Watchlists that we include in nearly all of our daily newsletters, and cases like this are the reason.

SES absolutely exploded to kick off the week, following a solid move on Friday as well. The momentum carried over into this fresh trading week, and the stock simply skyrocketed. From a low of 7.81, the stock reached as high as 26.10. That works out to a whopping single session gain of 234% and was good for the #1 top slot on the NASDAQ daily gainers list!

Johnson & Johnson JNJ – Fresh Options Idea

We also want to radar some JNJ calls on the heels of the company’s earnings beat and raised guidance. The stock has been in an ascending wedge pattern for the past 7 weeks, and its Q3 beat could provide just the impetus we’re looking for, to score with some weekly options calls.

We’re going to be tracking the JNJ Weekly $130-132 Calls for the remainder of this trading week.

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: More Big Moves From ROKU

TBSS International, Inc. TBSS

Our first order of business as we open up the books on another fresh trading week, is to update readers on the performance of TBSS, an OTC stock that we tagged for observation in Thursday morning’s extended watchlist.

It showed why, despite primarily focusing on the big boards and options plays these days, we are still perfectly willing to take it back to our roots and ID high potential plays on the lower exchanges.

The stock traded from a low of .0111 on Thursday morning, and reached a new high of .0219 Friday. That represents an overnight swing of 97%

Roku, Inc. ROKU

Next up, we want to highlight the advances made by our ROKU options ideas. As we were mentioning on Friday, on the morning of September 23rd we tagged the ROKU 11/01 $115-118 Calls for extended observation. We were just going over the total possible gains on Friday morning, but after another solid session, those figures require updating once again.

$115 Calls – Range: 3.00-12.75 – Max Gain: 325%
$116 Calls – Range: 3.60-12.00 – Max Gain: 233%
$117 Calls – Range: 2.82-11.30 – Max Gain: 301%
$118 Calls – Range: 2.50-10.75 – Max Gain: 330%

Additionally, we included two rolled up strike prices to watch in the ROKU chain, the Weekly $122-123 Calls, and those were an instant success. The $122 Calls ran 219% intraday from 72-2.30, while the $123′s pushed from a low of .48 and hit 1.70, a gain of 254%

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: ROKU Recap & More

Roku, Inc. ROKU  – Recap

Typically, our ideas include stocks and options that are suited for short-term, quick-strike style trades. But occasionally, when the situation calls for it, we do formulate longer-term ideas.

Such was the case on the morning of September 23rd, when we tagged the ROKU 11/01 $115-118 Calls for extended observation. We provided an update on Friday of last week, but the gains experienced have since increased considerably.

$115 Calls – Range: 3.00-11.72 – Max Gain: 291%
$116 Calls – Range: 3.60-11.14 – Max Gain: 209%
$117 Calls – Range: 2.82-10.60 – Max Gain: 276%
$118 Calls – Range: 2.50-10.20 – Max Gain: 308%

Based on the stock’s premarket activity, we would expect to see these figures rise even further as we close out another trading week.

Bonus Idea: ROKU Weekly $122-123 Calls

Bed Bath & Beyond, Inc. BBBY

We did include one of our typical fast-strike plays in yesterday morning’s premarket report, with our highlighting of the BBBY Weekly $13-12 Puts. That idea turned out to be extremely successful as well, with multi-bag intraday performances from both contract sets.

The $13 Puts ran from .51-1.27, marking a move of 149%, while the $12′s ran even harder, trading in a range from .10-.45 and rising by 350%

SPDR S&P500 (ETF) SPY – Options Explode

Yesterday morning we added a fresh options trading idea for the SPY chain, namely the Weekly $289.50-291 Calls and we are happy to report that not only was our idea spot-on, but the intraday gains made possible were rather eye-popping.

Fresh Idea:
BBBY Weekly $13-12 Puts

Ocugen Inc. OCGN

We also want to provide a brief update on another recent call we made, with OCGN. We tagged this one for observation as a bottom-play this past Friday morning, and already we’ve seen a pretty good swing to the upside.

The stock has traded in a range from 1.22-2.04 this week, marking a respectable  move of 67%  We’ll be interested to see if it can continue to register new highs for us in coming sessions.

Sundial Growers, Inc. SNDL

We are seeing a very intriguing potential play on cannabis grower SNDL this morning. The recently-IPO’d stock has taken a bath in the two months following its first trades, having already been embroiled in a class-action suit. Yesterday the company showed that the claims of the lawsuit are essentially baseless, and the PPS began to recover.

We’re going to keep a close eye on the activity here in the days and weeks ahead, as the technicals of the chart are screaming upside potential at the present time. Not to put the cart before the horse, but we feel that a double from current pricing would not be out of the realm of realistic possibility.

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: AZZ Review & More

Options Recap

Thanks to a choppy day for the markets as a whole, both of the bearish options ideas we formulated for yesterday morning’s premarket report provided opportunities that either approached or exceeded the threshold of double-bag status.

Dominos Pizza Inc. DPZ - Dominos was the primary big name earnings reporter yesterday, and we decided to tag the DPZ Weekly $235-227.50 Puts for possible swing trades after disappointing figures. Those contracts moved considerably right out of the starting gate, prior to the company announcing a massive $1B buyback program, roughly 30 minutes into the session.

$235 Calls – Range: 4.02-7.40 – Max Gain: 84%
$232.50 Calls – Range: 3.80-6.00 – Max Gain: 58%
$230 Calls – Range: 2.63-4.81 – Max Gain: 83%
$227.50 Calls – Range: 1.30-3.60 – Max Gain: 177%

Azz, Inc. AZZ

With AZZ announcing a delay to its Q2 2020 earnings report, which was scheduled for yesterday premarket, we took the initiative to signal some puts there as well. Our targets were the AZZ Weekly $45-40 Puts and those were on a serious run throughout the day.
