Blue Horseshoe Stocks: SVSN Review & More

Stereo Vision Entertainment, Inc. SVSN

It was roughly six weeks back that we put SVSN on our radars on a routine news scan, and as we always say, it’s better to be early to the party than late. All the way up until last week, the stock wasn’t trading with any real vigor, but things have picked in a huge way, both in volume and price.

From its low at .08 at the beginning of last week, the stock finished out at a high of .89, for an intraweek rip of 1012% This came on the news that the company will file a $50M Real Estate Investment Trust on behalf of its CannaVision subsidiary, with the goal of organically growing cannabis for the purposes of extracting CBD.

Progressive Care, Inc. RXMD

We also want to swing back around to RXMD this morning, which we intially tagged onthe morning of February 22nd. Since that time the stock has exhibited a fairly steady climb up the chart.

We observed a low of .0663 in RXMD on that first day, and as of Friday’s new high of .129, we had watched as the stock rose 95% over a period of just seven trading sessions. It’s streaking to its highest PPS in nearly five years, so it’s safe to say RXMD is in blue sky breakout territory, and we’ll be eager to continue tracking its movements.

Fate Therapeutics, Inc. FATE

We also wanted to recap the solid move we’ve witnessed in FATE, since mentioning the stock toward the end of January. It dipped slightly to a low of 6.76 shortly thereafter, and has since gone a very impressive run.

The stock reached a new high of 14.02 on Friday, which worked out to a 108% upswing in a matter of less than a month.

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: FL Earnings & More

Foot Locker, Inc. FL

The markets took a beating yesterday, and we appear to be headed for another generally bearish session. On a normal day, we’d look for post-earnings plays that had a beat and were gapping up in the premarket. Today, we were looking for an earnings miss and a stock on its way down, and FL fits the mold.

The company’s Q4 earnings disappointed on sales and guidance and it appears that, coupled with current market conditions, a play on some puts may yield quick strike opportunities today. We’re going to zero in on the FL 03/16 $45-41 Puts.

iPath S&P 500 VIX ST Futures (ETN) VXX

As we said, another turbulent day for the markets could be headed our way to finish out the week, so we’re going to want to keep mostly to the bearish side of the street.

Much as the SPY trades with the market, the VXX trades inversely to it. Instead of SPY puts, we’ll go with VXX calls today for another possible quick strike options idea. We’re looking at the VXX Weekly $47-49 Calls.

*Trading weekly options on a Friday should never be attempted unless you are an expert level trader with disposable funds.

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: TJX, ECYT Recaps & More

The TJX Companies, inc. TJX

Yesterday we noted that TJX was exhibiting some interesting premarket activity despite missing EPS estimates on its Q4 earnings call. We also mentioned that we’d look for the very common dip-and-rip scenario, which occurred on cue.

Our options targets were the TJX 03/16 $80-85 Calls, and unsurprisingly, we got considerable gain opportunities out of all three sets of contracts in that range:

$80 Calls – Range: 3.30-5.10 – Max Gain: 55%
$82.50 Calls – Range: 1.70-3.00 – Max Gain: 76%
$85 Calls – Range: .75-1.56 – Max Gain: 93%

Endocyte, Inc. ECYT

Yesterday morning, we took the initiative to tag ECYT in our premarket report for the first time since November. The stock had already been steadily rising for a few weeks despite the reporting of Q4 losses, and the company revealed the pricing of a public offering at 4.20/share.

That helped to bring the biggest single session upswing for the stock since October, with ECYT running from a low of 4.51 up to 6.08. It was good for a highly respectable 35% increase, and sufficient to have the stock claim the title of top NASDAQ gainer of the day.
